Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the characteristics of students who use shopee paylaters at Jambi University, 2) Know the effect of promotions, prices and allowances on demand through spaylaters directly and indirectly. The research method in this study was descriptive quantitative using a questionnaire data collection method. The population in this study were all students who had used the spaylater payment method at least once and the sample used was 97 students. The data analysis tool used is path analysis with the help of the amos application. The results of the path analysis in this study are that the pocket money variable directly has a significant effect on the spaylater, but not the promotion and price variables. Besides that, the variables of pocket money and spaylater have a significant effect on demand. While indirectly, based on the sobel test, pocket money has a significant effect on demand, while the promotion and price variables have no significant effect on demand.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze developments in FFB prices, CPO prices, exchange rates and CPO exports. Then to analyze the influence of FFB prices, CPO prices and exchange rates on CPO exports. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The data used in this research is secondary data with Time Series data for 2000-2023. The data sources used in this research are the Jambi Province Plantation Service, the Palm Oil Farmers Union (SPKS), the Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia. The analysis technique used is Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis. The research results show that: (1) The development of CPO exports, FFB prices, CPO prices and exchange rates tend to fluctuate every year. (2) The FFB price and CPO price variables have a positive and significant effect on CPO exports in the long and short term. (3) The exchange rate variable has a positive but not significant effect on CPO exports in the long and short term.

Abstract

This research aim to analyze: 1) sectoral economic potential in Jambi Province and Regencies/Cities in Jambi Province in 2000-2022; 2) economic structure of Jambi Province and Districts/Cities in Jambi Province in 2000-2022 and shifts in economic structure. The analysis methods used are Location Quentient (LQ), Growth Ratio Model (MRP), Overlay and Shift Share. The results of this research show that there are seven regions that are included in the primary potential sector; Jambi Province, Sarolangun, Batang Hari, Muaro Jambi, Tanjung Jabung Timur and Tebo and Muaro Jambi in the primary sector and secondary. The results of the shift share analysis for Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) contribution show that a shift in economic structure has occurred from the primary sector to the tertiary sector in Kerinci and East Tanjung Jabung. And there has been a shift in the economic structure from the primary sector to the secondary sector in Sarolangun, Batang Hari, Muaro Jambi, Tebo and Bungo. For Jambi Province, Merangin, West Tanjung Jabung and Jambi City there has been no shift in the economic structure.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the development of exports, exchange rates, foreign debt and foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia as well as the effect of exports, exchange rates and foreign debt on foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia. This research uses descriptive and quantitative analysis methods. The data used is secondary data of the time series type from 1987-2022, which comes from the World Bank, the Central Statistics Agency and Bank Indonesia. Data is analyzed using the Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis tool. The results showed that the average development of Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves was 9.72%, the average development of Indonesia's exports was 9,44%, the average development of Indonesia's exchange rate was 10.13%, and the average development of Indonesia's foreign debt was 6,15%. Based on the results of long-term regression, it is known that exports and foreign debt have a significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves, while the exchange rate does not have a significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves in the long term. Then the results of short-term regression are known that exports and foreign debt have a significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves, while the exchange rate does not have a significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves in the short term.

Abstract

Regional financial independence is a condition where the process of financing the implementation of a regional government is carried out independently using original regional income. This research aims to see and analyze the influence of capital expenditure, general allocation funds and special allocation funds on regional financial independence in Jambi Province in 2010-2021. The data used is secondary data with time series during the period 2010-2021. And the analysis method used is the Panel Data Regression Method. The research results show that at the f test (simultaneous), we can conclude that simultaneously the variables Capital Expenditure, General Allocation Funds and Special Allocation Funds have an effect on regional financial independence in Jambi Province. Viewed using the t test (partial), we can conclude that the capital expenditure variable has a negative and significant effect on regional financial independence and the general allocation fund has a positive and insignificant effect on regional financial independence, while the special allocation fund variable has a positive and significant effect on regional financial independence.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the development of e-money, BI-rate, money supply and economic growth in Indonesia as well as to determine and analyze the influence of e-money, BI-rate and money supply on economic growth in Indonesia. The analytical method in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The quantitative analysis tool uses E-views with multiple linear regression methods. Based on the results and discussion using the multiple linear regression method, it is known that the Economic Growth variable experiences quite significant fluctuations every quarter and has an average development of 4.02%, the E-Money variable has an average development of 20.67%, the BI variable -Rate has an average development of 5.25%, and the money supply variable has an average development of 18.55%. Multiple linear regression shows the results that the E-Money and BI-Rate variables have a significant effect on the economic growth variable, while the Money Supply variable has no effect on the Economic Growth variable in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess the extent of regional financial performance and how it influences regional spending in districts/cities in Jambi Province. Using secondary data in the form of a time series from 2016 to 2022. The Panel Data Regression Method is the analysis technique used in this research. Calculations using the Degree of Fiscal Decentralization Ratio, Financial Independence Ratio and PAD Effectiveness are used to test the impact on Regional Expenditures and analyze the level of Regional Financial Performance. The results obtained in this research are that the level of regional financial performance and the level of regional financial independence in the Districts and Cities of Jambi Province are in the very low category while the effectiveness of PAD is in the effective category. The estimation results obtained by the Fiscal Decentralization Ratio variable have no effect on regional spending with Prob. 0.4791 and the Regional Financial Independence Ratio has no effect on regional spending with Prob. 0.6869 Meanwhile, the estimated PAD Effectiveness variable has a significant negative effect on regional spending with Prob. 0.0448.
