Abstract

Abstrak The elucidation ofmulticultural society in Palangka Raya is needed to increase the integration of the nation because the society of Palangka Raya is variety in ethnic, religion, language, culture, and individual characteristic. By using the observation, interview, documentation and literature study, it revealed the deeper problem where can be found the actual data. To govemment is by the understanding of ethnic values and the cultural relativism, through Communication Forum of Cross-Ethnic (FKLE) and Communication Forum ofReligions (FKUB), old customs in orderliness of Palangka Raya city's law No. 18 in 2007 about Kedamangan. In the ethnic groups, by having the cultural collaboration as the form of cultural assimilation, the exchange ofthe village headman with the customs figure from each ethnic, and by adaption process through the motto when in rome do as the romans do. In schooi the subject of cross cultural understanding and multicultural values has been inserted in the religion subject, civic education, and Indonesian language. In family, by inserted the religious values and humanity will eliminate the steorotive and the fanatism ethnic or religion.

Abstract

Abstract: In conducting the state implementation, Indonesia as a state needs regulations in accordance with the national cultural values. The values are mirrored in Pancasilaas the spirit of constitutional laW which is The Constitution 1945. Indonesian governmental system is presidential; the president is the state chief and the governmental chief. The state power is in three powers, that are legislative, executive, andjudicial powers. Those three powers have relations in sharing the powers.This practice is not the same as the original theory of Montesquei about power divisions. In the implementation, The Constitution 1945 has supporting institutions. They are People's Consultative Council, House ofRepresentative, President, Supreme Court, Constitutional Council, Judicial Commission, Financial investigator, Police, and the Army.

Abstract

Abstract: A border region is a leading point of one country against another country. The border region needs special attention and priority from central as well as local governments as there are considerable issues sunound it. One crucial thing that should be the main focus in the border region is the issue of economic development and local communities' welfare. Data used in this paper is mainly based on the field research in Nunukan District, East Kalimantan Province in 2010. The discussion in this paper is emphasized on the development of local natural resources for achievingeconomic development and the welfare of local people in Nunukan District

Abstract

Abstract: In doing the job, a pharmacist is as the manager. In managing the pharmacy, the pharrnacist can cooperate with stakeholders supplying the needs. This cooperation is based on an agreement between the pharmacist and the stakeholders. The agreement is made in order to build up a pharmacy. The agreement is about the licensing ofthe pharmacy and principles ofthe professionals. The agreement is completely influenced by the pharmacy regulations, including the regulations of thepharmacy and the pharmacist. The regulations also restricted the freedom in deciding the obligations and rights in the cooperation among the sides.

Abstract

Abstract: Empowerment of small industries is one way to extricate poverty. The government roles are needed in giving motivation, stimulation, and facilities to the craftsmen. The goals ofthis writing are describing the efforts of small industries craftsmen in maximizing their potentials in order to increase the strength of capital, raw materials, production, and marketing; the craftsmen's enthusiasmin achieving the success of small industries in the rural area; the involvement ofthe government in the empowerment of small industries in the rural area; the obstacles faced by the craftsmen in achieving the success; and the efforts done by the craftsmen in overcoming the obstacles. The method being used in this writing is qualitative approach. The subjects of the study are craftsmen (the owners and the employees), social leaders, and the officers of industry service. The resultsshow that the process of craftsmen empowerment really depends on the degree of autonomy owned by each craftsman. The process of craftsmen empowerrnent cannot be done through force of the government policy.
