Abstract

This paper aims to provide an overview of the progress of Islamic Psychology as a science is the result of the integration between Islam and psychology. Islamic psychology has a specific scientific method, which is a combination of reading and kauniyah kauliyah paragraph. With this method of Islamic Psychology Scientifics has a slightly different character to the other sciences put the value- free objectivity and total empiricism. This paper also discusses the importance of efforts to improve the quality and quantity of research and scientific publications with the mapping to the overall outcome of thought and research, resulting in the development of a cumulative and do not spin in place. In this case the role of Islamic Psychology Association in collaboration with universities that are interested in this field is very important, especially in improving the competence of the resources of scientists and psychologists in this field through the entire education pathway.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the first step and only effort to administer university degree program inside a prison was held in Cipinang CorrectionalInstitution Jakartain cooperation with Bung KarnoUniversity, a private university not far from the prison. This study discussed the relationship between religiosity,self effficacy andachievement motivation of student-prisonerresidents in this higher education program.This survey used quantitativeanalysisapproach, with 70 respondentsusingLikert questionnairesastools of measurement.Statistical analysisofthisstudywas usingsimplelinearregression formulawithSPSS-18 software.This study found positive relation between religiosity and selfefficacy to student achievement motivationinthe student-prisoner-residents withR square= 0.784. It means that this varibles influence wereas much as 78.4%. To completed their education,it need to improve religiosity and self efficacy as motivator way to success.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to examine the correlation between social support from family and loneliness on the prisoner at Kedungpane Prison Semarang, also to examine the difference of loneliness between married prisoner and unmarried prisoner. Data analysis for the first hypothesis resulted in rxy = -0,432; p = 0,001 (p < 0, 01), indicated that there was very significant negative correlation between social support from family and loneliness. Effective contribution from family social support to loneliness equal to 18, 7%, whereas 81, 3% influenced by other variables. Data analysis for the second hypothesis resulted in t = 8,038; p = 0,000 (p < 0, 01), showed that there were very significant difference of loneliness between married prisoner and unmarried prisoner. The average (mean) score of loneliness on married prisoner was 58, 13 while the mean score on unmarried prisoner was 75, 33, showed that loneliness on unmarried prisoner was higher than one on married prisoner.

Abstract

This article intends to explain the dynamics of individual forgiveness. The dynamics of forgiveness involves interpersonal attachment and personality trait. First, interpersonal attachment influences personality trait are agreeableness and neuroticism. Second, agreeableness and neuroticism personality trait influence forgiveness.

Abstract

This research is aimed to recognize the effect of writing training to enhance the verbal creativity level of school age children. The hypothesis of this research was that, there was the students that followed training had more verbal creativity. There are 25 students of 5thand 6thgrade of SD Sentolo III Yogyakarta assigned to experimental group and 25 students 5thand 6thSD Jlaban Yogyakarta assigned to control group. The experimental design was pretest-postest control group design. The instrument of data measurement was Verbal Creativity Test. The result of independent sample t test indicated that there was a significant difference of verbal creativity score in posttest writing between experimental group and control group, which t = 5,861 (p<0,01). It means that writing training was effective for enhancing the verbal creativity level of school age children especially 5thand 6thgrade students.

Abstract

This research aim to know the influence playing play dough to increase creativity among kindergarten students. The subjects were students of TK ABA Purbayan Kotagede. Data collected by Figural Creativity Test. Gain score is analysed with t -test technique. The result was there is significant influence playing play dough to increase creativity among kindergarten students (t=3,211; p=0,003) . The research result shows that playing play dough effective to increase creativity among kindergarten students.
