Abstract

AbstrakKonvergensi International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) menyebabkan Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (PSAK) mengalami beberapa perubahan. Perbedaan standar akuntansi keuangan menyebabkan komparibilitas laporan keuangan menurun sehingga investor dari berbagai negara sulit untuk mengambil keputusan investasi. Muncullah IFRS sebagai standar akutansi global sebagai acuan dalam menghasilkan pelaporan keuangan yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis mengenai ada tidaknya perbedaan signifikan antara nilai Earning Response Coefficient (ERC) sebelum dan sesudah adopsi IFRS pada perusahaan yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). ERC digunakan sebagai proksi untuk melihat reaksi pasar. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan dan harga saham bulanan. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2009 hingga 2014. Pemilihan sampel didasarkan pada metode purposive sampling dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara ERC sebelum dan sesudah adopsi IFRS ke dalam PSAK pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI.Kata Kunci: IFRS, Earnings Response Coefficient, Laba, PSAK, Reaksi Pasar. Abstract Convergence of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) causes the Pedoman Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (PSAK) undergo some changes. This then leads to differences in comparability of financial statements declining so that investors from various countries is difficult to make investment decisions. Then appeared IFRS as the global accounting standards as a reference in generating quality of financial reporting. This study aimed to analyze whether there was a significant difference between the value of Earning Response Coefficient (ERC) before and after the adoption of IFRS on the companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. ERC is used as a proxy to see the market reaction. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements and monthly stock prices. The sample used in this study is a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2009 to 2014. The sample selection was based on a random sampling method with predetermined criteria. The results of this study prove that there was no significant difference between the ERC before and after the adoption of IFRS into the FRS companies listed on the Stock Exchange.Keywords: IFRS, Earnings Response Coefficient, Earnings, PSAK, Market Reaction.

Abstract

AbstrakKredibilitas penjual yang baik dalam bisnis online akan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen pada perusahaan, menurunkan persepsi risiko, meningkatkan kepuasan dan meningkatkan niat untuk melakukan pembelian ulang. Selain kredibilitas penjual dalam bisnis online, informasi mengenai kinerja penjual di masa yang lampu juga merupakan informasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai referensi pembentukan kepercayaan konsumen. Kepercayaan yang dimiliki konsumen juga memberikan pengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen saat transaksi bisnis melalui media online.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh institutional structures (buyer-driven certification, auction house escrow dan credit card guarantee) dan seller past performance terhadap trust in seller, mengetahui pengaruh trust in seller dan seller past performance terhadap perceived risk, mengetahui pengaruh trust in seller dan seller past performance terhadap customer satisfaction, mengetahui pengaruh trust in seller, perceived risk, customer satisfaction dan  seller past performance terhadap transaction intentions, dan mengetahui perbedaan penilaian konsumen pada variabel institusional structures (buyer-driven certification, auction house escrow dan credit card guarantee), trust in seller, perceived risk, customer satisfaction, seller past performance dan transaction intentions berdasarkan perbedaan karakteristik konsumen.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa institusional structures (buyer-driven certification, auction house escrow dan credit card guarantee), trust in seller, customer satisfaction, dan seller past performance memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap niat pembelian konsumen dalam bisnis online. Persepsi risiko pada penelitian ini tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap niat pembelian konsumen dalam bisnis online. Kata kunci: Efektivitas Pemasaran, Persepsi Risiko, Seller Past Performance, Transaction Intentions, Trust in Seller. AbstractGood seller’s credibility in the online business will boost consumer confidence in the company, lowering the perceived risk, increase customer satisfaction and increase intention to make repeat purchases. In addition to the seller's credibility in the online business, information on the performance of the seller in the future also light is information that can be used as a reference establishment of consumer confidence. The trust that consumers would be effect on consumer satisfaction when business transactions through online media.This study was conducted to determine the effect of institutional structures (buyer-driven certification, auction house escrow and credit card guarantee) and the seller the past performance of the trust in the seller, knowing the effect of trust in the seller and the seller the past performance of the perceived risk, knowing the effect of trust in seller and the seller past performance on customer satisfaction, knowing the effect of trust in the seller, perceived risk, customer satisfaction and the seller the past performance of the transaction intentions, and knowing the difference of consumer ratings on variable institutional structures (buyer-driven certification, auction house escrow and credit card guarantee), trust in the seller, perceived risk, customer satisfaction, seller past performance and transaction intentions based on different characteristics of the consumer.The results showed that the institutional structures (buyer-driven certification, auction house escrow and credit card guarantee), trust in the seller, customer satisfaction, and past performance sellers provide a positive influence on consumer purchase intentions in the online business. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan persepsi dari generasi Y terhadap pilihan karier di perusahaan publik. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui apakah gender mempengaruhi perbedaan persepsi dari generasi Y terhadap pilihan karier di perusahaan publik. Dalam era globalisasi dan era liberalisasi seperti sekarang ini, pengambilan keputusan karier bukanlah keinginan sesaat semata. Penentuan tersebut harus didasarkan pada kemampuan dan pemahaman diri mereka sendiri. Oleh karena itu gender juga menjadi salah satu hal yang juga mempengaruhi dalam proses perekrutan sektor publik. Laki-laki memilih bidang karier tertentu berdasarkan bidang orang tua dan belum memiliki pandangan akan masa depannya. Sedangkan di satu sisi, perempuan mereka lebih menghadapi kesulitan dalam menghadapi keputusan pemilihan karier karena keterbatasan bidang dan juga lingkungan yang masih tradisional.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan persepsi antara laki-laki dan perempuan, akan tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan faktor yang mempengaruhi pilihan karier di perusahaan publik. Kata kunci: Generasi Y, Perekrutan, Persepsi, Perusahaan Publik, Pilihan Karier. AbstractThis study aims to determine differences in the perception of the Y generation on career options in public companies. It is also to find out whether gender affects the differences in the perception of the Y generation on career options in public companies. In the era of globalization and liberalization, as now, the career decision making is not merely a whim. The determination should be based on ability and understanding of themselves. Therefore, gender is also becoming one of the things that also affect the public sector hiring process. Men choose a particular career field by their parent’s career field and do not have a view about the future. While on the one hand, they are more women face difficulties in dealing with career choice decision because of limited fields and the environment is still traditional.Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that there is a difference in perception between men and women, but there are differences in factors that affect career options in public companies. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh nilai tukar dan suku bunga acuan terhadap neraca transaksi berjalan di Indonesia periode 2005:1- 2015:1. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder. Data sekunder bersumber dari website Bank Indonesia. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Errror Correction Model (ECM). Selanjutnya analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menjelaskan hasil penelitian.Penelitian ini menghasilkan dua hal. Pertama, dalam jangka pendek nilai tukar tidak berpengaruh terhadap neraca transaksi berjalan Indonesia. Dalam jangka panjang nilai tukar memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap neraca transaksi berjalan. Kedua, dalam jangka pendek suku bunga acuan tidak berpengaruh terhadap neraca transaksi berjalan Indonesia. Dalam jangka panjang suku bunga acuan memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap neraca transaksi berjalan. Kata Kunci: neraca transaksi berjalan Indonesia, nilai tukar, suku bunga acuan, Errror Correction Model AbstractThis study aims to determine and analyze the effect of exchange rates and interest rates on current account in Indonesia from 2005: 1 to 2015: 1. The data used is secondary data. Secondary data is sourced from the website of Bank Indonesia. The analysis tool used is Errror Correction Model (ECM). Further descriptive analysis is used to explain the study results.This research resulted in two things. First, in the short term exchange rate has no effect on the current account in Indonesia. In the long term the exchange rate has a positive and significant impact on the current account. Second, in the short-term benchmark interest rate has no effect on the current account in Indonesia. Abstract

Abstrak            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap penurunan kemiskinan dilihat dari sektoral tahun 2004–2012. Variabel yang digunakan adalah jumlah penduduk miskin sebagai variabel dependen dan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PRDB) di sembilan sektor sebagai variabel independen. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari terbitan world data bank. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan pendekatan model fixed effect. Dalam mengolah data, penulis menggunakan bantuan software Eviews 8.1.            Berdasarkan hasil estimasi di peroleh bahwa secara keseluruhan pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kemiskinan di tingkat Provinsi di Indonesia. Selanjutnya dilihat dari segi sektoral ditemukan bahwa variabel sektor per-tambangan memiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan terhadap penurunan kemiskinan. Hal itu disebabkan adanya commodities boom terhadap komoditi hasil tambang. Sehingga sektor pertambangan bukanlah sektor yang menjadi kunci dalam penurunan kemiskinan namun terjadinya commodities boom memiliki pengaruh terhadap penurunan kemiskinan di Provinsi di Indonesia. Kata Kunci :  Fixed Effect, Kemiskinan, PDRB sektoral, pertumbuhan ekonomi, commodities boom. AbstractThis study aims to identify and analyze the role of economic growth on poverty reduction seen from sectors in 2004-2012. The variables used were the number of poverty as the dependent variable and the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in nine sectors as independent variables. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the data published by the World Bank. The analytical method used is the panel data regression with fixed effect model approach. In processing the data, the authors using statistical software Eviews 8.1.Based on estimates obtained that overall economic growth is negative and have significant effect on poverty at the provincial level in Indonesia. Furthermore, in terms of sectoral found that variable per-mining sector has a negative influence and significant impact on poverty reduction. It was caused by the commodities boom of the commodity mined. So that the mining sector is not a sector that is key in reducing poverty, but the commodities boom have an impact on poverty reduction in the province in Indonesia. Keywords: Fixed Effect, poverty, the GDP sectoral, economic growth, commodities boom.

Abstract

Abstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh struktur kepemilikan pada perusahaan cross listed terhadap discretionary accrual manajemen laba model Jones modifikasi dengan legal sistem sebagai variabel pemoderasi dalam hubungan antara struktur kepemilikan perusahaan cross listed dan discretionary accrual manajemen laba. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengggunakan sampel lima puluh perusahaan Asia yang terdaftar di New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) pada tahun 2011-2013. Salah satu indikator penilaian kinerja perusahaan adalah besarnya kompensasi yang diterima oleh manajer, hal ini menjadi motivasi tindakan manajemen laba. Tindakan manajemen laba dapat diminimalisasi dengan cara memonitor pihak manajemen dengan menggunakan proporsi kepemilikan oleh pihak luar di dalam perusahaan. Bagi perusahaan yang terdaftar di pasar modal asing (cross listed), legal sistem suatu negara diduga mampu memperkuat pengaruh struktur kepemilikan perusahaan terhadap tindakan manajemen laba karena negara dengan legal sistem yang baik mampu memperkecil kemungkinan tindakan manajemen laba. Manajemen laba diukur menggunakan model Jones yang dimodifikasi dengan discretionary accruals sebagai proksi dari manajemen laba.Alat uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah multiple regression. Penelitian ini memperoleh bukti bahwa struktur kepemilikan institusional perusahaan cross listed memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap discretionary accruals manajemen laba, sedangkan legal sistem tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh struktur kepemilikan perusahaan cross listed terhadap discretionary accruals manajemen laba yang dilakukan perusahaan. Hal ini terjadi karena pasar modal NYSE berada di negara dengan proteksi investor yang kuat sehingga legal sistem perusahaan Asia tersebut tidak mampu memperkuat pengaruh struktur kepemilikan terhadap tindakan manajemen laba. Kata kunci: Struktur Kepemilikan Perusahaan Cross Listed, Legal Sistem, Discretionary Accruals Manajemen Laba dan Model Jones Modifikasi.  Abstract This study aimed to get empirical evidence about the influence of ownership structure cross listed company on earnings management with the legal system as a moderating variable in the relationship between ownership structure cross listed company and discretionary accruals earnings management model Jones Modified. This research was carried out by using a sample of fifty Asian companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 2011-2013. One indicator of corporate performance assessment is the amount of compensation received by the manager, where this can be the motivation of earnings management action. Earnings management measures can be minimized by monitoring the management by using the proportion of ownership by outsiders in the company. For companies listed on foreign capital markets, the legal system of a country believed to be able to strengthen the company's ownership structure influence on earnings management measures for countries with good legal system is able to minimize the likelihood of earnings management action. Earnings management is measured using the modified Jones models with discretionary accruals as a proxy for earnings management. Statistical test equipment used in this research is multiple regression. This study obtained evidence that the structure of institutional ownership cross listed company has a significant negative effect on discretionary accruals earnings management, while the legal system is not able to moderate the influence of ownership structure cross listed company on discretionary accruals earnings management of the company. This occurs because the NYSE stock market is in a country with strong investor protection that the legal system of the Asian company is not able to strengthen the influence of ownership structure on earnings management action. Keywords: Ownership Structure Cross Listed Company, Legal System, Discretionary Accruals Earnings Management and Modified Jones Model.

Abstract

Submission of Annual Financial Statements in Indonesia organized by theFinancial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK). All of the Company thatthe shares are traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) shall submit the AnnualFinancial Report. The Indonesian Capital Market Supervisory Agency Rule (2003), listedcompanies are required to submit the audited annual financial statement to BAPEPAMand Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) at the latest at the end of the third month after thedate of the statement.This research was conducted in order to test the effect of the characteristics of theaudit committees, predictions of bankruptcy and public ownership lag effect on the auditreport. The study was conducted at the manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia StockExchange in 2010-2014.The results showed that the characteristics of the audit committee and bankruptcyprediction have effect on audit report lag but public ownership has no effect on audit reportlag.Keywords: audit committees characteristics, audit report lag, bankruptcy prediction,manufacturing companies, public ownership.

Abstract

Cost of debt borne by the company set by creditors based on how managementmanages the company. Effective and efficient management related to the way themanagement to increase revenue and suppress the load to obtain the maximum profit. Oneof the expense to be managed is the tax expense. Tax savings that they comply with the provisions of taxation known as tax avoidance. This study aims to reexamine the influenceof tax avoidance on the cost of debt on companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange(BEI) in the period 2010-2014.This study uses financial statements of companies listed on the Stock Exchangeduring the period 2010-2014. Samples were selected using purposive sampling methodand obtained a sample of 49 companies with five years observation period, and the totalobserved data is of 245 data. Hypothesis testing is done by a simple linear regression.Based on the analysis, the result that tax avoidance positive effect on the cost of debton companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2010-2014.Creditors consider tax avoidance as practices that involve risks thereby increasing the costof debt.Keywords: tax expense, cost of debt, tax avoidance, creditors, tax savings, manufacturingcompanies listed on the Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of the presence of village-owned enterprises(BUMD) on the welfare of the community. This research uses Community Based Researchin which the research was conducted in several stages, namely: in-depth interviews withparticipants who become the key actors in BUMDes, group discussions based on interestgroups that exist in the village, and Focus Group Discussion which the discussions wereconducted by various interested parties. It is conducted to confirm the findings in theprevious stage. The results of this study indicate that the existence of BUMDes do not bringa change in the economic and social fields. BUMDes existence do not bring significantbenefits to improving the welfare of citizens directly. The problems that arise related toBUMDes is people’s access to the water and to jobs in BUMDes.Keywords : Community Based Research, Village, Village-owned enterprises.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of brand ambassador reputation, websiteinterface features and creative advertising to advertising effectiveness and its impact toonline shopping intention. This study is the integration of previous studies to determinethe effect of simultaneous between variables and the variable advertising effectiveness asa mediating variable in the influence of brand ambassador reputation, website interfacefeatures and creative advertising to online shopping intention. Respondents of this studywere 115 university students who have ever seen e-commerce advertisements on electronicmedia participated in this reseach. There are several findings in this study. First, brandambassador reputation has positive effect to advertising effectiveness. Second, website interface features has positive influence to the advertising effectiveness. Third, creativeadvertising has positive effect to advertising effectiveness. Fourth, advertising effectivenesshas positive effect on online shopping intention.
