Abstract

Abstract: Audio Visual Learning, Competence, ECG Recording. This study aimed to determine the affect of audio-visual learning media to the level of students' competences of ECG recording. This research is a quantitative study with Quasy Experimental methods. The research design of this study used pre-test and post-test control group. The numbers of respondents were 44 nursing students of Poltekkes Surakarta. Dependent Test is used to pre-test and post-test in treatment groups and also pre-test and post-test in control group if data distributed normally, if not normal using Wilcoxon. Independent T tests is used to post-test in treatment and control group if data distributed normally, if not normal using Mann Whitney. Normality test data used Kolmogor-Smirnov. The P value of treatment and control groups, before and after the intervention, were similiar (0.000), P value <0.05. The conclusion of this study was audio-visual learning media has better effect on students' competences of ECG recording than using phantom media. So that, educators are expected to use audio-visual learning media as their learning media for students. Students are expected to have better skills in nursing services.

Abstract

Abstract: Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Preparedness Indoor Simulation, Volunteer Corps (KSR). The entire people of Indonesia are expected to prepare for disasters. This is done because Indonesia is a country with a fairly high vulnerability to disasters. All elements of society is obliged to make successful of disaster preparedness program. In terms of disaster preparedness, society was divided into groups of masyarakat terlatih, awam khusus and awam. Surakarta Health Polytechnic has been successfully empower youth element as health volunteers through disaster preparedness training activities incorporated in the activities of KSR Unit Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta. The activities carried out periodically and continuously in the implementation of the program, including disaster preparedness. Purpose to evaluate the increase in disaster preparedness through disaster preparedness indoor simulation method at KSR Unit Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta. The study was comparative experimental study design with one group pretest-posttest with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all members of KSR Unit Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta (150 people). The average increase in value between pretest and posttest is 1.31. T test results that the value t = 17.480 > t table (0.05, df 14) = 1,761 with a 95% confidence level showed α = 0.00 <0.05. There was a significant increase in disaster preparedness through disaster preparedness indoor simulation method in KSR Unit Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta.

Abstract

Abstract : Stress Level, Low Birth Weight (LBW), Parents, Intensive Neonatal Care Unit. Treatment of LBW baby in intensive room has impact for parents such as: fear, guilty, stress and anxiety. Stres feeling for parents may not be ignored because, if feel stress, it makes parents can not care to the baby well. Objectives of the study was to know the factors which influence stress level of parents (ignorance of caring baby, less support system, coping mechanism and less communication among family) on LBW which is treated in Intensive Neonatal Care Unit at Dr. Moewardi Hospital. This type of research was analytic descriptive, cross sectional approachment at 30 parents LBW baby which is treated in Intensive Neonatal Care Unit at Dr. Moewardi Hospital on January-April 2016. Sampling technique uses total sampling. Inklusi criteria of LBW parents in Intensive Neonatal Care Unit who become respondent. Eklusi criteria of LBW parents who has mental disorders and sick when they are give questionnaire. The level of stress is measured by using Deppresion Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-42) and the factors which influence stress level (parents knowledge, coping mechanism and less communicaton among the family) used questionnaire in closed ended form. Analysis data used Lamda. Results was show that Ignorence of caring baby (p=0,022), less support system (p=0,044), and less communication among the family (p=0,010) effected to stress level. While, coping mechanism (p=0,056) does not effected to stress level.Conclusion, Less support system, ignorance of caring baby and less communication among the family related with stress level.

Abstract

Abstract : Hemorrhoids, Physical Activity Factor, Risk Occurrence of Hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are known in the community as hemorrhoids or piles is a common disease and has been there since time immemorial. The incidence of hemorrhoids tend to increase with age person, where the peak age is 45-65 tahun.Hemoroid found in 50% of people above 50 years. Hemorrhoids can be suffered by both men and women. Physical activity is one of the risk factors of hemorrhoids, but this type of activity is different from the order to each person. Formulation of the problem :Does the physical activity that has the risk of hemorrhoids in etika clinical. The purpose of this study was To determine physical activity has the risk of hemorrhoids in etika clinical. This research is observational analytic with cross sectional method. Samples are 29 respondents who are hemorrhoids sufferers who carry out checks in etika clinical ngemplak boyolali. The determination of the study respondents with accidental. The statistical test was preceded classical assumption test then multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study were (1) Physical activity mostly sitting is a risk factor occurrence of hemorrhoids with a great risk of 0.37%, (2) Less physical activity is a risk factor of hemorrhoids with great risk of 0.33%, (3) Activities physical frequent straining when BAB is a risk factor of hemorrhoids with great risk 0.63%., (4) physical activity often carry heavy loads is a risk factor of hemorrhoids with great risk of 0.26%.. This research is simultaneously student activity within the organization and emotional intelligence related learning motivation the III level of students DIV Nursing Health Polytechnic of Surakarta.

Abstract

Abstract : Maternal Age, Placenta Previa. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), is one of State Health Development Indicators. Indonesia MMR in the first level in Asean. Bleeding is the cause of MMR,placenta Previa is cause of bleeding, the incidence of placenta previa is 0.3-0.5% of all births, the risk of placenta previa associated with age of the women during pregnancy. Incidence increased as follows : 12-19 years - 1%, 20-29 years - 0.33%, 30-39 years - 1%, above 40 years - 2%. Incidenceof placenta previa in Soeradji Tirtonegoro HospitalKlaten in 2010 there were 122 cases. Thestudyused the Ex Post Facto, the population in this study is the maternal with plecentaprevia, the sample used a total sample of 122 maternal with placenta previa in 2010. Devendent variable in this study is placenta previa,independt variable is the maternal age, the studyin Dr Soeradji Tirtonegoro Hospital Klaten. Analysis used the linear regression.The effect of maternal age on the incidence of plcentsprevisis significantp = 0.000 (p<0.05), 87.20% incidence of placenta previa is influenced by maternal age and the effect is very strong r = 0.938. Each additional 1 year of maternal age increases the incidence of placenta previa 1,332 cases

Abstract

Abstract: Hypoglycemia, Health Education, Knowledge, Patient. Hypoglycemia is one of the complications faced by people with diabetes mellitus, ie blood glucose levels fall below 50 to 60 mg / dl. Hypoglycemia may occur acutely, suddenly and can be life-threatening. Management of diabetes mellitus one of them is health education, especially about complications, namely Hypoglycemia. The objectives of this study were 1) to identify the level of knowledge of diabetes mellitus patients about prevention of hypoglycemia prior to health education 2) to identify the knowledge level of diabetes mellitus patients about hypoglycemia prevention after health education 3) to analyze knowledge change about prevention of hypoglycemia in patients with diabetes mellitus before and after the provision of health education in the intensive space of Dr Moewardi Hospital in 2016. This research type is experimental with pre-experimental design, variable approach using pre and post test designs method and data analysis used is Paired T-Test. The result of this research is there is influence of health education toward prevention effort of hypoglycemia in patient of diabetes mellitus in intensive room of Dr Moewardi Hospital 2016. This is proved by Paired T-Test test analysis on the value of knowledge before and after given health education obtained t count = -19,090, whereas t table value 2,042 so value -t arithmetic <-t table (-19,090 <-2,042) and sig. 0.000 (<0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning there is a significant difference between the value of knowledge before and after being given health education about hypoglycemia. There is an influence of health education on prevention of hypoglycemia in people with diabetes mellitus in intensive space Dr Moewardi Hospital in 2016.

Abstract

Abstract: Low Birth Weight, Age, Hypertension. Weight is one health indicator of the newborn. In basic, infants with low birth weight of less than 2500 grams have a greater risk of health problems which cause by many factor like hypertension, anemia, asthma, a history of low birth weight, birth spacing, parity, antepartum haemorrhage, rupture prematures, and placenta previa. The purpose of this study to determine the factors that influence the incidence of low birth weight in neonatal intensive care units of DR Moewardi Hospital. This study design was retrospective descriptive analytic approach in low birth weight infants in the neonatal intensive care unit of DR Moewardi Hospital in January to March 2016. The sampling technique using total sampling. The inclusion criteria low birth weight infants in the neonatal intensive care DR. Moewardi Hospital, mothers who gave birth low birth weight in DR Moewardi Hospital, low birth weight babies referrals from outside hospitals DR Moewardi accompanied by her mother who participated to DR Moewardi Hospital. Exclusion criteria mothers with low birth weight babies and low birth weight infants who died. Analysis data with frequency distribution and bivariate using Chi Square test. The age (p=0.021), hypertension (p=0.049), parity (p=0.024), antepartum haemorrhage (p=0.049), eclampsia (p=0,049), rupture prematures (p=0.031) was associated with low birth weight. Anemia (p=0.737) bronchial asthma (p=0.362), a history of low birth weight (p=0.554), birth spacing (p=0.680), placenta previa (p=0.258) was not associated with low birth weight. Age, hypertension, parity, antepartum haemorrhage, eclampsia and rupture prematures associated with low birth weight

Abstract

Abstract : Myocardial Infarction, Anxiety, Length of Stay. The purpose of nursing care of cardiovascular patients are to repair hemodynamic, to suffice oxygen need and to decrease anxiety. AMI patients who are undergoing treatment can use anxiety and may the length of stay. Research purpose to determine the relationship between the anxiety and length of stay in myocardial infarction patients at ICVCU Dr. Moewardi General Hospital. This study is descriptive analytic correlation using cross sectional approach. The subject is all AMI patients. The sampling technique using in this research is total sampling. A questionnaire was constructed to collect data. The collection data was analyzed by using spearman. Retrieved from 30 respondents, it is the average age of patients with myocardial infarction is 51-65 (63,3%) and the majority of the majority of the male gender with percentage 63,3%. Majority of AMI patients moderate anxiety with percentage 43,3% and long of stay fast with a percentage 56,7%. Analysis of test result obtained probality value 0.41. Based on the analysis it can be concluced that there is a significant relationship between anxiety and length of day in myocardial infarction patient at ICVCU Dr. Moewardi General Hospital Surakarta.

Abstract

Abstract: Hemodynamic, Hemodyalisis. According to calculation of Pernefri on 2013, there are about 19.621 chronic renal failure patients which they need routine hemodialysis, over of 53% of patients is under 54 years old. Recently, hemodialysis treatment get rapidly developing, but there are many health problem on patients when they get hemodialysis treatment. Patients often get some complication such as hemodynamic problem. The purpose of this research is to 1) to discribe the characteristics of the gender, age 2) to discribe the hemodynamic (sistole, diastole, MAP, RR, HR) of pre and post hemodialysis 3) to analize the hemodynamic changes pre and post hempdyalisis treatment. This type of research is quasy experiment with one group pretest – posttest design. The results of the research is there are hemodynamic changes in patients done hemodyalisis at the hemodialysis unit in Dr. Moewardi Hospital of Surakarta. This is proven by testing paired samples t-test (systole, MAP, HR) which obtained the value of p < 0,05 and wilcoxon test (diastole, RR) which obtained the value of p < 0,05. According to the test of paired samples t-test and Wilcoxon test if p < 0,05, then the provision of therapy hemodialysis influential to changes in blood pressure. Conclusion. There is hemodynamic changes in patient done hemodyalisis at the hemodialysis unit dr.Moewardi Hospital.

Abstract

Abstract: Consumed Cholesterol Foods, Hypertension, Smoked, Diabetes Mellitus, Exercise, Sleep Quality, Recurrent Heart Attack. Smoking, consuming cholesterol foods, and staying up all night are easy to find in around us. Moreover, some of people that have historic of heart disease, hypertension, or diabetes mellitus haven’t pay attention with their lifestyle. Eventhough, consumed cholesterol foods, hypertension, smoked, diabetes mellitus, exercise and sleep quality are can affected recurrent heart attack of patients with acute myocardial infarction in ICVCU Dr.Moewardi hospital in Surakarta. Design of this research is a descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The sampling method is total sampling. Analysis of data used chi square, fisher and regression logistic. The result of research obtained factors that affected recurrent heart attack of patients with acute myocardial infarction is consumed cholesterol foods (p=0,039), hypertension (p=0,014), smoked (p=0,038), diabetes mellitus (p= 0,014), exercise (p= 0,014), and sleep quality (p= 0,014). Hypertension and exercise are the greatest influence (OR= 0,065), next consumed cholesterol foods (OR= 0,052), and diabetes mellitus (OR= 0,035). Conclusion: Dominant factors that affected recurrent heart attack of patients with acuce myocardial infarction are hypertension and exercise.
