Abstract

This article is based on a developmental research. In the production step, the initial product was developed. This product was validated by an expert in subject matter and an expert in media. The next step was trying out the product to the students in three steps, namely, one- to-one try out, small group try-out, and field try-out. The subjects were students of junior high school 3 Tanjung Jabung Timur in seventh grade. The subject in this research consists of two students for one-to-one try-outs, ten students for the small group try-outs, and 31 students for the field try-out. The data collected in this research included the data from the subject matter expert, the evaluation data from the media specialist, and data from the students on the aspect of attraction. The data were collected using an interview sheet for the subject matter expert, the media expert, and questionnaire sheet for the one-to-one try- out, the small group try-outs, and the field try-outs. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis. The research results show that: 1) the development of audio-visual media Learning spin was in five phases, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, the quality of instructional media developed viewed from the content aspect is good, the quality of the developed instructional media in terms of the appearance aspects are good. the quality of the developed instructional media in regard to the attraction aspect is interesting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ratio of health promotion to knowledge about breast Cancer and breasts Cancer early detection skills (BE AWARE) in adolescent girls at Jatiling Jambi Health Polytechnic Year 2016. This type of research is quasi experimental with non-randomized pre-test-post-test group design. Instruments used are Instruments test knowledge about breast cancer and test instruments BSE skills. Data analysis was performed multivariate (MANOVA) and paired samples T-Test and independent samples T-Test. The results of the study were (1) there was a difference in knowledge about breast cancer between the groups that were given health promotion using leaflets with the group that was given health promotion using video, video media is better and gives more dominant influence to the knowledge aspects of breast cancer. Differences in breast cancer early detection skills (BSE) between health-promoted groups used leaflets and health-promoted groups used better videos media and more dominant influence on aspect of girls' breasts self- examination. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of videos US a media of health promotion is better than the use of leaflets to increase knowledge about breasts cancer and girls skills in early detection of breast cancer, so educators can make the video as an alternatives tools in providing learning to students.

Abstract

This technique can be used in all subjects and for all ages of students. In the implementation of this make and match learning model a teacher must prepare a card containing the problem or problem and prepare the answer card then the students look for the pair of cards. By using this learning model, it is expected the interest or passion of learning and cooperation among students will be better. In this class action research (PTK) aims: (1) To improve students' ability in operating Microsoft Excel software. (2) To increase students 'learning interest in operating Microsoft Excel (3) To know the effectiveness of the use of model make-match type learning in improving students' interest in operating Microsoft Excel software. Implementation of this research is done through Classroom Action Research (PTK) in class X Administration Office 1 SMK Negeri 1 Batanghari. Based on the research findings, the following suggestions are proposed: (1) A teacher must be able to choose the right learning model, so that the learning objectives can be achieved as expected. (2) In order for teachers to try to apply the Make a Match learning model as an alternative in implementing learning, so that learning is fun and not boring. (3) In order for good cooperation between teachers, students and schools can always be improved in order to support success in the learning process at school.

Aspects analyzed include the influence of parental involvement in supporting student learning outcomes, utilization of ICT in supporting student learning outcomes. This research uses survey design with data collection instrument in the form of questionnaire. The population of the study were the students of class IX Junior high school 7 Kota Jambi. Sampling by random sampling based on the class with the amount of 125 people, This research was conducted by using double regression with hypothesis test at level of significance 0,05. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a positive influence between parent involvement on student learning result, (2) there is positive influence between ICT utilization to student learning result, (3) there is a positive influence between parent involvement and ICT utilization together towards student learning outcomes. Based on the findings of the above research results it can be concluded that the involvement of parents and the utilization of ICT have an influence on student learning outcomes. To parents to spend more time accompanying their children in the learning process and in the utilization of ICT to support the child's learning process, and cooperation with teachers needs to be optimized to support the success of children.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain a media result from the process of designing physics learning media for class X based on AVS Video Editor Software, and to find out the responses of class X teachers and students regarding the results of designing physics learning media using AVS Video Editor Software. This learning media is first validated by a team of experts, in this case lecturers, where the expert team consists of a team of media experts and a team of material experts. The design product was tested on small groups of students, namely 20 students. The perception level is calculated using a percentage formula. The results of the analysis of student responses to the designed physics teaching materials show that the educational dimension percentage value of 92 is classified as very good. The display dimensions of teaching materials are 92.5%, so they are in the very good category. Likewise, the percentage value for teaching material scenarios is 94.83%, which is classified as very good. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the designed teaching materials can be declared as appropriate media for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This type of research is learning media development research. Learning media development is carried out in several stages, starting from analyzing student needs and character, formulating learning objectives, formulating material points, compiling evaluation instruments, compiling media scripts/drafts, carrying out expert validation, conducting trials and revisions. The subjects of this research were media expert validators and material experts as well as class XI MIA students at senior high school 6 Batanghari. The instruments in this research were an expert validation questionnaire and a questionnaire on student responses or perceptions of the resulting learning media. The results of this development research are physics M-Learning learning media on mobile phones with the Android operating system using Adobe Flash Professional CS6 software. This media was declared feasible by media expert validators and material experts. The results of feasibility testing based on student perceptions in class XI MIA senior high school 6 Batanghari obtained a media feasibility percentage of 86.25% (good). The feasibility aspect is seen from the aspect of the learning media product and the aspect of the material packaged in the media. These results indicate that the media produced is good and suitable for use in the physics learning process.
