Abstract

In the financing process should be run in accordance with established procedures. That's because the financing facilities provided by banks to customers should benefit both. Financing facility should provide benefits to customers gifts in fulfillment of its financing needs at the time that is required to refund some time later. On the other hand, the financing facility should also provide benefits to the bank in the form of shared revenues and margins or other revenue. Most of the revenue is the right of other customers, ie customers who invest their money in the bank get the results or fee in the contract wadiah of funds invested or deposited by the customer.

Abstract

This paper aimed to compare the performance of Amil Zakat Board and Amil Zakat Institutions in managing zakat funds in the region of West Sumatra province, based on data in 2010. The Comparisons were made by measuring the performance of these two institutions which include five aspects of assessment namely 1) Performance of Shariah compliance, legality and institutional 2) Performance of Management 3) Financial Performance 4) Performance of economic empowerment and 5) Performance Social Legitimacy. The research was conducted with surveys and interviews using a questionnaire to four Amil Zakat Board and four Amil Zakat institutions. This study used the Mann Whitney U Test to see the significance of the difference. The results of analysis showed that significant difference between performance of zakat management at Amil Zakat Board and Amil Zakat Institutions in West Sumatera Province. The performance of Amil Zakat Board is better than the performance of Amil Zakat Institutions especially financial performance and the performance of social legitimacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of the contract that adopted in Takaful. The contract must conform with fatwa DSN (National Sharia Council) No. 21 of the Takaful. According this fatwa Takaful consists of two contract, the tijarah contract and tabarru’ contract. The both contracts are analyzed with a Hadith that forbid the double contract in one transaction. The method used in this study with the conceptual approach (library research) to examine the theory of the jurists' of the various schools. This research is expected to provide a clear understanding of the interpretation of the legal text that sharih to muamalah and to avoid the mistakes that plunged astray against contemporary transactions.

Abstract

In today's modern economy, there is no doubt that the distribution is the most important sector in economic activity. Included in the Islamic economic perspective, the study of income distribution of  profession zakat attract serious attention from Muslim economists because it  has an important role for the welfare of society. The teachings of Islam called on every Muslim who has an income property that in their property threre are  rights of others that must be fulfilled / distributed. Property income that is distributed to charity  will positively impact the welfare of society in the islamic economic dimension.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the socio-economic mapping with case studies Siantar Siantar District of Western society. The purpose of this study is to see how far the characteristic ability of socioeconomic District of Siantar Barat both in the category of business, inspiration and medium enterprises, business development, years of starting the business, the age of the respondent, number of employees, type of business development assistance, the type of assistance expected private agencies / SOE and suggestions for the development of businesses that are part of the socio-economic mapping Siantar. The data used is primary data using questionnaires to society western range. The results of this study indicate that the Business Name: Herb Healthy Fresh: 33%, Business category: Drinks totaling 82% Address Enterprises: Street Football on: 53%, Inspiration Making Business: 17% was from the beginning migrated to focus on making herbal medicine, Yang assist in the creation of business: wife of 19%, Points of Creation: the direct business 89%, Start of Business: in 1974 as much as 9.1%, Business Start hour: 45% starting at 8:00, Business development: developing .: help Available : Pertamina Depot Siantar as much as 51%. The assistance is expected from the Private Sector, Blender, Pots, Dandang as much as 33%, Advice for Business Development: 73% The existence of business coaching.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan jangka panjang yaitu untuk melihat seberapa besar peran pasar modal syariah dalam mendorong laju pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini memiliki manfaat kepada Pemerintah, investor dan seluruh pemangku kepentingan (stakeholder) untuk pengembangan industri keuangan syariah khususnya Pasar Modal Syariah di Indonesia. Metode yang akan dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, studi pustaka yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini, identifikasi masalah, praproses, analisis data, hasil analisis data dan evaluasi akhir dari hasil pengolahan data yang ada. Instrumen pasar modal syariah adalah saham syariah, obligasi syariah (sukuk) dan reksadana syariah. Data yang digunakan adalah data Otoritas Jasa Keuangan melalui website www.ojk.go.id dan data Badan Pusat Statistik melalui website www.bps.go.id. Perkembangan pasar modal di Indonesia yang tergambar pada indikator-indikator utama pasar modal yang terus tumbuh dari tahun ke tahun mampu menjadi pendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan membuat kegiatan investasi mulai meningkat. Peningkatan ini antara lain didorong oleh perkembangan pasar modal syariah. Kuatnya peran pasar modal syariah yang meningkat dalam pembentukan kapitalisasi pasar modal Indonesia (Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan) mengindikasikan pasar modal syariah memiliki peran yang besar dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the practice of profit and loss sharing (PLS) in fishery system in Tapak Kuda village of Tanjung Pura, District of Langkat. This system is implemented by the fishermen and involved many parties. This kind of profit and loss sharing system has been a local wisdom of the community of this village. This reseach finds that this type of local wisdom is a result of internalization process in the context of social construction since long time ago. This internalization involved many factors. For further study, this research recommends a deeper study on local wisdom related to Islamic economic activity of Indonesian society.

Abstract

Abu Yusuf was one of the scholars and thinkers of Islam's most successful period of Caliph Harun ar-Rashid, this can be seen from the progress of the country and welfare of the people in the time of Abu Yusuf both in terms of economic, social, political, security and defense of the country, and the development of science knowledge and technology. In terms of thinking jurists Abu Yusuf is an homage to ahl ar-ra'yu, Abu Yusuf tend to describe various thoughts by using analytical tools qiyas preceded by conducting in-depth study of the Qur'an, the hadith of the Prophet, Atsar Shalabi, as well as the practice of pious rulers. Rationale is to bring al-mashlahah al'ammah (the public good). This approach makes a variety of ideas to be relevant and more stable. In terms of the economy, especially taxation, Abu Yusuf many uses diligences as outlined in the book Al-Kharaj. This of course raises the question: how does the concept of taxation according to Abu Yusuf? To obtain the answer to that question, this study aimed at library research (library research) which is a descriptive analysis that describes the overall biography of Abu Yusuf and Abu Yusuf thinking in terms of the economy, especially in terms of the concept of taxation. Data about Abu Yusuf thinking in terms of the economy, especially in terms of taxation explore concepts in the book Al-Kharaj, works of scholars, researchers and historians who wrote about Abu Yusuf. While the data related to this study traced in the sources of primary and secondary as well as previous studies. After a successful data are collected, grouped, categorized and discard unnecessary data and data obtained will be analyzed carefully. Based on the analysis of the data found that the economic rationale Abu Yusuf is economic thought appropriate/suitable with the state of society at that time. In terms of the concept of taxation, which is the source of state revenue in the future of Abu Yusuf is kharaj, jizyah, usyur, alms, ghanimah and fa'i.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the monetary transmission process from Islamic financing of Islamic banks mechanisms in Indonesia and prove whether the Islamic financing mechanism will create a balance between the monetary and the real sector, causing a reduction in the rate of inflation. The variables of this study were the rate of inflation, PUAS, SBIS and Islamic financing of Islamic banks using time series data. Data were analyzed using the VAR. The results showed that in the short term total PUAS, total SBIS and total Islamic financingof Islamic bank in a stable relationship to therate of inflation.

Abstract

The research is empirical legal research also known as sociological and non-doctrinal legal research. It is called as an empirical legal research because it studied legal problem empirically. The research data classified into two kinds: primary and secondary. Both data obtained through interview, observation and documen study. The research concluded that the ulama of Medan agreed on saving sacrificed meat legal status as mubah as it is socially needed. Ulama of Medan also agreed on saving meat legal status as practiced in Rumah Zakat Medan as ubah. The ulama agreement also mean their agreement on legal status of making the meat Superqurban cornet and distributed widely in longer time.
