Abstract

This research was conducted in Dompet Dhuafa Waspada which has been managing productively zakat, the zakat received by Dompet Dhuafa Waspada  is utilized first through programs that have been carried out then the results will be given to mustahiq zakat. This study examines the role of Dompet Dhuafa Waspada  as the manager of zakat in the utilization of productive zakat. The research method used is qualitative, that is by describing data and facts that appear in the existing research, analyzed using descriptive, analytical and critical methods with SWOT analysis with aggressive strategies. Based on this research, it was found that. The collection of zakat, infaq and shadaqah funds is done by various means, such as auto zakat (Infaq Card), donation, teledonation, Donation via online banking, Donation via visiting counter as well as promotions and programs on the website and distribution of Dompet Dhuafa Waspada rolling out various programs poverty alleviation in North Sumatra & Aceh since 2015. The program operates in four fields, namely education, economics, health and social development. Dompet Dhuafa has distributed zakat in a productive way, such as by giving zakat in the form of capital loans in the form of community independent businesses in the form of virtue loans. Supporting increased utilization of productive zakat with the development of productive zakat in the form of business capital in order to develop UMK  in Medan.

Abstract

The students' interest in investing is relatively low, even though they have received knowledge related to the capital market. The purpose of this study was to determine what factors influence student interest in investing in IAIN Investment Gallery Zawiyah Cot Kala Langsa. This research is a quantitative research conducted at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Islam (FEBI) IAIN Zawiyah Cot Kala Langsa. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, namely FEBI students who had learned about the capital market since the establishment of the Investment Gallery as many as 60 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. Data is processed through the SPSS program using the t-test. The results showed that the value of t-count was 3.457 and the t-table value was 2.00 (t-count >  t-table). Based on these values it can be concluded that the factors that influence student interest in investing in the Islamic capital market IAIN investment gallery stock Zawiyah Cot Kala Langsa is motivation.

Abstract

Abstract The low budget absorption capacity of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and cases of corruption involving government employees reflects the low awareness of employee religiosity and has an impact on the lack of performance of government employees. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the performance of employees within the Provincial Government of North Sumatra in terms of education, experience, motivation with religiosity as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data analysis used the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) test. The results obtained that partially, experience and motivation have a significant effect on the performance of the North Sumatra Provincial Government employees. But partially, education has no significant effect on the performance of the North Sumatra provincial government employees. Simultaneously, education, experience and motivation have a significant effect on the performance of the North Sumatra Provincial Government employees. Meanwhile, Religiosity strengthens the influence of Education, Experience, and Motivation on Employee Performance.

Abstract

This research examines the practice of profit and loss sharing (PLS) in fishery system in Tapak Kuda village of Tanjung Pura, District of Langkat. This system is implemented by the fishermen and involved many parties. This kind of profit and loss sharing system has been a local wisdom of the community of this village. This reseach finds that this type of local wisdom is a result of internalization process in the context of social construction since long time ago. This internalization involved many factors. For further study, this research recommends a deeper study on local wisdom related to Islamic economic activity of Indonesian society.

Abstract

The number of takaful insurance customers is decreasing every year. This can be caused by the level of customer satisfaction that can be influenced by product factors, promotions, and services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of products, promotions, and services on customer satisfaction using educational fund takaful insurance products. This research is quantitative research. This research was conducted at PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Medan with a sample of 70 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) analysis are supported by classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, t-test and f-test using the Eviews application. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously, product, promotions, and services influence customer satisfaction and partially only promotional variables that do not affect customer satisfaction. Thus, Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Medan should maintain the strategy that has been implemented and increase promotional activities to be able to achieve the company's target in increasing customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the influence of brand awareness, project quality, and trust in decisions to donate at Kitabisa.com. The research approach used is a quantitative research approach. The sample in this study were users who donated at Kitabisa.com with a total sample of 145 people. The instrument used to obtain data is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. supported by Validity and Reliability test, Classical Assumption Test, t-test and f-count test using SPSS version 22 software. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously, variable of brand awareness, project quality, and trust have a significant effect on donation decisions at Kitabisa.com and the results of the test partially show that all independent variables, namely brand awareness, project quality, and trust, each have a significant effect on the decision to donate at Kitabisa.com.
