Abstract

This article discusses about how the condition of archives at Palembang Youth Planning Law School and how the process of managing the archives. This study aims to determine the condition of archives and archive management process. The research method using quantitative is by conducting intensive interviews. The results show that the condition of the archive today can not be said perfect because there are still many that do not fit with as it should. The management of archives at Palembang Youth Planning Law School can be said is not good enough, it can be seen from the management, storage, maintenance and depreciation of the archive that has not been maximized in the implementation. And human resources are still lacking and the background of the head of management is not an archivist but in the field of law

Abstract

Universally, Islamic literature existing in boarding schools is preserved and passed down from generation to generation directly related to the religious sciences as inherited to Islamic society by past priests in the past called "yellow books". The books cover very short text to text composed of bold volumes of Arabic Grammar, Tajwid, Logic, Fiqh and Ushul Fiqh, Aqidah, Tafsir of the Qur'an, Hadith and Hadith Science, Morals and Sufism, History of Life Prophet and a tribute to the Prophet. For the yellow book format, although the advancement of printing technology is currently evolving, the yellow book format, the prints are still the same as they used to be, that is, generally not bound or wrapped in leather covers and yellow paper. Because to maintain physical characteristics that generally contain symbolic meanings, which seem to be more classical. The yellow book composed by earlier scholars or Islamic literature has not changed in terms of its contents, since the author or scholar who has been inhabited and his wisdom is no doubt, the scholars are the heirs of the Prophet, and so on. In addition, the yellow book functioned also by the boarding school as a reference in addressing all life challenges, as well as an arena of innovation to face the modern world.Keywords: literature, islam, pesantren

Abstract

This article aims to find out an overview of archive management on Global Radio 101.0 FM. By knowing the position, the existence of an archive processing unit at Global Radio 101.0 fm Palembang, and the types of archives stored at Global Radio 101.0 fm Palembang, as well as the archive management system at Global Radio 101.0 fm Palembang. Based on the findings of the authors through observation and interviews that archival management in Radio Global 101.0 FM does not apply archive management in accordance with the provisions contained in the law. Because it does not have a special archive unit and management is still incorporated in the administrations system a processed by a student who is carrying out his lecture that has no background in archival so that the management of the archive on Radio Global 101.0 FM has not been properly implemented. Abstract

The library before Islam experienced a fairly dynamic development. This can be seen from the existing library in the Mesopotamian region which was originally a Sumaria as the originator of writing, until the library Telloh that developed where there are 30 thousand midrib or writing media there are also there. In that place also found some places used to memorize and there are books about religion, magic and legislation. History records that there were a number of libraries ever established by humans before the arrival of Islam in Arab and medieval Europe, this library is the Library in Mesopotamia, the Ancient Egyptian Library, the Ancient Greek Library, the Ancient Roman Library and the Library in Europe.Keywords: library, islam

Abstract

The library has undergone several evolutions in its development. Libraries will nevertheless continue to play a very important role as a source of lifelong knowledge. The impact of the 4.0 industry has integrated the advanced technology in a library. In addition, the user can work to analyze information independently. Today’s libraries are about engagement, collaboration, communication and partnerships. The librarian is there to solve the problem of the user in searching for information. Physical and digital technologies can be combined so as to provide complete information to make decisions and answer the needs of the user. The key to dealing with disruption is innovation and continuing to improve competence with technology.Keywords: disruptive 4.0, industrial revolution, innovation, collaboration.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: (a) to describe the management of serial publication in MAN 2 Palembang library, (b) to describe the service of serial publication in libraries MAN 2 Palembang, (c) to describe SNI serialized in MAN 2 Palembang library. The method used in this study using descriptive approach through observation and interview conducted directly in the library MAN 2 Palembang. Abstract

This article discusses how to manage archives in Seconds South Sumatra, therefore the processing of archives is needed. The archive processing in this secs does not have a special unit in processing because the archive is managed under the editorial secretary, for the storage of the archive in South Sumatra is kept by date on the issuance of the archive and the archive in Seconds of South Sumatra is stored in Data Base and Manual Print. The obstacles faced by Seconds South Sumatra in managing the archive of human resources that are not educational background archives, so in penglolaannya less adequate. Abstract

This article discusses the revolution of this 4.0 industry recently launched in Indonesia and it is impossible to do in the library for the near term, but it would be better if the Human Resources have been forged since now. Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles and efforts to prevent the preservation of library materials, especially in ancient manuscripts and collections in the Museum Balaputera Dewa South Sumatra. From the results of research, namely interviews and observations, observations and records that Balaputera Museum God is still a lot of obstacles and barriers in terms of preservation. The method used by qualitative research in the form of data collection with observation and interview techniques. Observation here by observing the Museum Balaputera Dewa itself, while the interviews come to the chairman of the collection and conservation section Balaputera Museum of South Sumatra. From the observation that we can, Balaputera Dewa Museum has not done its job well, due to lack of fund and human resources (Human Resources) to do conservation. However, the Balaputera Dewa Museum still promotes conservation and restoration with a modest tool. Keywords: preservation of library materials, preservation, conservation, restoration
