Abstract

Technology acceptance can be defined as a user’s willingness to employ technology for the tasks it is designed to support. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) introduced by Davis in 1986. TAM is considers user perceptions of ease of use and usefulness as the main factors affecting the acceptance level of any technology. TAM  is model for explaining and predicting information system use in library. TAM model to determine the attitude of users towards a technology acceptance.   Keywords: library information system, TAM, ease of use, usefulness, user acceptance, technology acceptance.

Abstract

Information literacy is an important skill for librarian todays in global era, so that information literacy for librarian not only marked literate and able to read it only. However, the actual application is more than that, because it was supposed mastery of information literacy becomes an integral part of the librarian. Librarians should be manager of science, because every day struggling with a variety of resources. In response to this, then inevitably the librarian should be able to search the information in the library either manually or online.

Abstract

Librarians actually played a major role in contributing to the development of a civilized. but its role is not seen by most people . The problem is when people seeing  the library, as if the librarian is blocked by a row of collection that is increasingly to be older  and increasingly away from the elements to present . That said, when mentioning the word library, people thinks refer to a medium of human civilization, namely books. For a long time, the book became the primary knowledge resource, compiled by the library. This happens because the position of the library was considered only as a storage place only, and turns up the assumption that the modern age so shall still can not be eliminated. Abstract

Learning is an activity that involves a person in an effort toacquire knowledge and skills by utilizing a variety of educationalresources for learning . Application of multimedia -basedinteractive learning system serves to facilitate learning andteaching conducted by students and professors . Because thelearning process can involve two parties , namely students andprofessors as facilitators . Most important in the learning processof learning activities going on well . By utilizing computertechnology is expected to help teaching more interactive andengaging student interest in learning .
