Abstract

A business that is growing very rapidly is a food business or known as culinary, one of the culinary places is a restaurant. A restaurant is an effort to provide food and beverage services equipped with equipment and equipment for the process of making, storing and serving in a fixed place that does not move. To give satisfaction to consumers, companies must be able to sell goods or services with the best quality at a reasonable price in accordance with what is obtained. The company also carries out strategies to shape customer satisfaction by providing quality services. With good quality will encourage consumers to establish good relations with companies such as the Caribbean Seafood restaurant Medan. This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction Caribbean Seafood Medan restaurants. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods. The study population was 35 Caribbean Seafood Medan consumers. The results of this study indicate that customer satisfaction occurs due to a positive and significant influence on the two independent variables tested, namely product quality and service quality to customer satisfaction through t test and F test, while the R Square number shows 96.6% is a variation of satisfaction consumers of the Caribbean Seafood Medan restaurant which can be explained by the two independent variables, the rest explained by other factors outside of this study.

Abstract

Microfinance institutions is one of the pillars in the financial intermediation process. The potential and opportunities that so great on the SMEC has been attracting the business of microfinance with wonderful, even the realm of social empowerment microfinance lately has been transformed into the microfinance business with commercial. Map of the competition strict automatic this will bring consequences of the microfinance business changed. Given the role of Islamic microfinance institutions (LKMS) is enormous in encouraging the development of micro enterprises, then the existence of LKMS need to remain guarded and enhanced performance. This research aims to know how does the level of efficiency of LKMS performance and efficiency improvement measures LKMS. The method of DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) used to measure efficiency and identify measures to increase the efficiency of LKMS. The results of the research there is a finding that LKMS have a value score efficiency below 1, meaning the institutions in conducting his business inefficient. The cause of the occurrence of LKMS [there is the magnitude of the burden of input that are not offset with the output generated.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of success themselves, would risk tolerance, freedom of work, need for achievement, and the readiness of the instrumentation in Soweto against the student wishes to become entrepreneurial. Types of data used is primary data. Methods the research was survey with inductive analysis approach to look at ways that are generally used in a tested factors influencing students ' desire to become entrepreneurs. Method of data collection using the questionnaire with the number of respondents as many as 100 people. Sampling techniques used are simple random techniques (Random Sampling Method). The data is processed and analyzed by using SPSS application assistance. Analytical tools used in this study is testing the validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the variable Self Success, freedom of work and the need for achievement is dominant in the variables affect the desire of the Students in Soweto to become Entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Japan is one of developed countries had been Indonesian fixed consumer at international market. High value exports an country would be increasing domestic economic growth because international trade (exports-imports) as component for economic growth. Indonesia’s export for Japan has fluctuation growth rate for this research period. This research has aimed for analyze Indonesia’s export to Japan and GDP Japan with time series 1987-2017. The result of counteraction test showed no equilibrium relation for long term between Indonesia’s export and GDP Japan. And with granger causality test showed for Lag 2 and 5 Indonesia’s export to Japan and GDP Japan showed two-way direction. It means Indonesia’s export to Japan has influence GDP Japan and GDP Japan has influence Indonesia’ export to Japan in this research period. In recommended for government as the Indonesian trade ministry hopely could keep growth rate stability of Indonesia’s export to Japan because Japan has one of developed country as Indonesian fixed partner at international market, and the goals for equilibrium relation for long term between Indonesia’s export to Japan and GDP Japan.

Abstract

The purpose of this reaserch is to analyze the development of Creative economy in the City of Medan and the pattern of strategies for developing creative economy with a SWOT analysis approach through the Triple Helix method. Methodology / Design The research used in this study is a qualitative method by conducting surveys and interviews on the parties concerned. By using SWOT analysis and development strategy with triple helix concept to obtain expected research result. The result of the research indicate that the development of the creative economy for the craft sub-sector is in the third position after culinary and fashion. The pattern of interaction between the three actors (actors, government and academics) must collaborate and symbiosis in mutualism in designing and developing the creative economy and the strategy used to develop the creative economy is by aggressive strategy or S-0 strategy which uses the power to take advantage of opportunities.

Abstract

Basically the development of sharia tourism is not an exclusive tour because non-Muslim tourists can also enjoy Islamic ethical services. Sharia tourism not only to existence of pilgrimage and religious tourist attractions, but also includes the availability of supporting facilities, for example, restaurants and hotels that provide halal food and prayer places. Tourist products and services, as well as tourist destinations in sharia tourism are the same as general tourism as long as they do not conflict with Islamic values and ethics. This study aims to formulate a strategy model for the development of halal Pariariata in North Sumatra Province, especially for Medan and Parapat City. This research type used survey research for this study. Data analysis in this study is qualitative analysis in general and SWOT analysis. Qualitative analysis is generally directed at data from the results of discussions, observations, and interviews by collecting and analyzing data simultaneously, writing notes during and after data collection, encoding to simplify data, writing reasoning on data, and developing concepts and connections analysis results with the existing literature. The results of the study for the city of Medan are already ready as sharia tourist destinations for aspects of attractions (because they have started to hold sharia tour packages and events), amenities (except hotels and spas which some do not have halal certification) and institutions. Optimization of Medan City as a Sharia tourist destination requires several improvements, especially in institutional aspects, especially the readiness of human resources. And clear regulations from the city government of Medan, for the City of Parapat not optimal enough to work on Halal tourism. But still need commitment and consistency in working on Halal tourism in the city of Parapat
