Abstract

The research aims to analyze imports and consumption of Indonesia. With the simultaneous equation method of the 1987-2017 time-series data from the World Bank. The results showed that foreign exchange reserves, inflation, and significant consumption influenced the change in Indonesia's import developments. Foreign exchange reserves and consumption is inelastic against imports whereas inflation is elastic against imports. GDP, debt interest and imports significantly affect the change in Indonesia's consumption development. GDP is elastic against consumption while debt and import interest are inelastic towards consumption. Inelastic consumption of the import and import of inelastic to consumption, meaning that the change in price and the value of both economic variables in Indonesia during the period of research is to be responded insensitively by domestic communities. Suggestion to the Government that the Ministry of Trade keeps the regulation the import quota reduces dependence on products abroad and encourages the productivity of the domestic real market industries. Thus consumption of local products that then increases domestic economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the balance of money supply to the inflation in Indonesia period is 1998-2018. Using the data time series from 1998 to 2018 sourced from Bank Indonesia, the research method used is the Error Correction Model (ECM). The results showed that there was a long-term balance relationship between inflation and the sum of the money supply over the period from 1998 to 2018. Inflation will decline over the next period to correct the short-term balance mistakes over the long term and the money supply has a positive and significant impact on inflation for 1998-2018. The increasing amount of money supply will have an impact on high inflation. Bank Indonesia as a monetary authority can suppress the rate of inflation by controlling the amount of money circulating in the community at any period to maintain the stability of the price of goods and services in the market.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of the community of Pahlawan village fishermen as a service partner on the basic concept of international trade. The method of devotion is done by (1) observes; (2) counselling/socialization lectures; and (3) evaluation. The results of the devotion showed that the group of fishermen as participants/forums have shown enthusiasm in attendance, receiving information as an effort to add knowledge and insight from the method of counselling lectures/socialization of materials that have been conducted by the dedicated team. The team's recommendation for further community service activities after this stage is to perform the same methods with different themes such as differences in the number of fishermen's catches before and during the Covid-19 pandemic that can affect the export performance of fishery subsectors. To return to become additional information knowledge and insight in the community of the Pahlawan village fishermen group.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze Import North Sumatera for causality and cointegration method between Import, GDRP North Sumatera, Exchange rate and inflation during the period 1990-2015 for short and long term equilibrium relationship. From the results of causality test indicate GDRP North Sumatera had two way causality to Import North Sumatera. Import cause of GDRP North Sumatera and otherwise GDRP cause of Import North Sumatera. Cointegration test and Error Correction Mechanism indicate GDRP North Sumatera as positively and significant influence Import for short and long term equilibrium relationship for during the period 1990-2015. Whereas exchange rate and inflation had one way causality to Import North Sumatera. To Indonesia Government regulation hopely can control import product especially North Sumatera. High GDRP North Sumatera value can used to increasing other activities economic like development financing local. We need import but no dependency, import cause for resources not available in domestic or local. The Indonesia oriented sure keep on the import value every year of time for high GDRP value

Abstract

This research aims to see which variables, namely inflation, exchange rates, money supply, interest rates, and net exports, affect long-term combined share price fluctuations in five ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Monetary policies of governments in countries have an important impact on how these countries manage their capital markets. This study uses secondary or time-series data from 1998 to 2018. With ARDL Panel, the result shows that in a panel variable the exchange rate is a leading indicator in ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand) but its position is not stable in the short run. Based on the overall results it is known that what is significant in the long term affects the fluctuation of the composite stock price index in ASEAN is the net export in the short term the exchange rate is significant in influencing the composite stock price index.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara sedang berkembang yang memiliki hubungan internasional bilateral maupun multilateral di pasar dunia. Dengan adanya hubungan internasional ini, Indonesia dalam meningkatkan perkembangan pembangunan dalam negeri membutuhkan modal eksternal di samping modal mandiri internal menuju laju pertumbuhan ekonomi yang tinggi demi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis utang luar negeri dan inflasi Indonesia dengan time series tahun 1978-2017. Hasil penelitian dengan uji kointegrasi (cointegration test) didapatkan bahwa terjadi keseimbangan jangka panjang antara utang luar negeri dan inflasi. Dan dengan granger causality test didapatkan bahwa pada Lag 2, utang luar negeri dan inflasi Indonesia menunjukkan hubungan dua arah artinya bahwa utang luar negeri mempengaruhi inflasi Indonesia dan sebaliknya inflasi mempengaruhi utang luar negeri. Sedangkan pada Lag 4, utang luar negeri dan inflasi Indonesia menunjukkan hubungan satu arah ini berarti bahwa utang luar negeri mempengaruhi inflasi namun inflasi tidak mempengaruhi utang luar negeri selama kurun waktu penelitian. Dapat direkomendasikan kepada pemerintah Indonesia bahwa pinjaman luar negeri yang dilakukan setiap tahun sampai di waktu mendatang demi perkembangan pembangunan dan perekonomian yang lebih baik lagi tanpa membebani kas negara dan atau cadangan devisa dengan cara implementasi pinjaman luar negeri menuju lebih produktif dalam bentuk investasi pembangunan jangka panjang yang mendorong kemajuan sektor riil (pasar barang dan jasa) karena ini dapat mendorong aktivitas perekonomian domestik menuju kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan tingkat pengembalian cepat dan tinggi.

Abstract

Desa Pahlawan is one of region has natural resources for fishery sectorin Indonesia. The location is in Kecamatan Tanjung Tiram KabupatenBatu Bara Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Many kind of fishery commodityhad produced in there like anchovy, shrimp, shells, and other kind seafood. This research has aim for analyzing the impact for fishing tackleaid implementation for fishermen at Desa Pahlawan KecamatanTanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batu Bara. The research speciality has foranalyzing difference of how before fishing tackle aid implementationand after. The hypothesis are there significant difference betweenbefore fishing tackle aid implementation and after for the quantity ofproduction. The result for this research by sign test has significantdifference between before fishing tackle aid implementation and afterfor the quantity of production. For the local government by DinasKelautan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Batu Bara Provinsi SumateraUtara could be keep the productivity of fishermen at Desa Pahlawan asconcern for quantity of production becauce it can be influence forselling price stability in market as welfare indicator for the fishermen.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang menganut sistem perekonomian terbuka. Semenjak dari masa kemerdekaan sampai dengan sekarang masih terus menjadi bagian dan atau pelaku di pasar internasional. Kecenderungan mengeskpor untuk meningkatkan pendapatan negara diikuti pula dengan mengimpor barang/jasa modal dan jenis barang/jasa ekonomi lainnya yang dikonsumsi oleh penduduk domestik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis data laju pertumbuhan inflasi dan impor Indonesia dengan time series mulai dari tahun 1991-2017. Hasil penelitian dengan metode analisis VAR (vector autoregression) didapatkan bahwa Inflasi dan impor tidak berkaitan erat dan tidak saling mempengaruhi berdasarkan kurun waktu penelitian ini karena tidak memiliki hubungan sebab akibat. Inflasi periode yang lalu tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap impor Indonesia. Peningkatan impor berpengaruh positif terhadap inflasi berdasarkan persamaan VAR. Dan antara inflasi dan impor terdapat hubungan stabilitas keseimbangan jangka panjang dan pergerakan dalam jangka panjang. Sementara dalam jangka pendek kedua variabel inflasi dan impor saling menyesuaikan untuk mencapai keseimbangan jangka panjang. Hal yang dapat direkomendasikan kepada pemerintah yakni Bank Indonesia diharapkan dapat tetap menjaga laju inflasi terkait kestabilan nilai rupiah baik di dalam maupun luar negeri sehingga dapat menekan kuota impor yang dapat mengurangi kecenderungan konsumsi terhadap barang/jasa impor oleh penduduk domestik.

Abstract

 tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efek simultanitas variabel ekonomi moneter terhadap neraca pembayaran di lima negara yakni Indonesia, Korea Selatan, India, Brasil dan Meksiko. Dengan menggunakan data time series dari tahun 2000 sampai dengan 2018 dan cross section lima negara maka metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan simultan Panel-Two Stage Least Square yang sebelumnya sudah berdasarkan hasil uji identifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa simultanitas terjadi antar variabel kurs mata uang di lima negara terhadap neraca pembayaran di lima negara tersebut pula dan begitu juga sebaliknya pada α = 10%. Kurs mata uang berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap neraca pembayaran di negara Indonesia, Korea Selatan, India, Brasil dan Meksiko, begitu pula sebaliknya.
