Indonesian Language Education and Literature is a journal of research publication. The scopes of this research are Indonesian language and literature teaching, either as the first, second, or foreign language. The research can be conducted in elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, and / or university. The journal is regularly published on July and December in collaboration with the cooperation Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (ADOBSI) or The Association of Indonesian Language and Literature Lecturers and Ikatan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (IKAPROBSI) or The association of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program.

Abstract

The analysis of discourse drama “Esok di Neraka” is analysis which recite the cosehiveness between cohesion and coherence in every dialog in that manuscript. The other aims of this analys is to describe part of instrument and shape of cohesion and coherence. The benefit of this research teoritically, used to the reader who want to research the discourse of drama. Beside that, reader can understand linguistic aspects in that discourse.

Abstract

Discourse analysis can be reviewed in terms of cohesion and coherence. Cohesion includes this reference (reference), substitution (substitution), omissions (ellipsis), conjunctions (conjunction), and lexical cohesion (lexical cohesion). This study only focuses on the aspects of this reference (reference only. References there are two kinds of endofora and eksofora. Endofora subdivided into anaphora and katafora. The focus of this study is novel discourse analysis Supernova: AKAR by Dee Lestari terms of reference specifically endofora reference.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the response of short texts on the short message service (SMS), the devices used in analyzing the discourse of language short message service (SMS) is the cohesion that has a variation using marker cohesion, reference, substitution, ellipsis, conjunctions, and lexical cohesion (lexical cohesion). This paper uses data that all 15 samples senders respond to questions about the announcement at the reception CPNS Ngawi District. Languages write short message service (sms) a brief and 'mixed' is an interesting characteristic.

Abstract

Indonesian has a position and a very important function, as listed in the 1928 Youth Pledge pledge which reads Our sons and daughters of Indonesia to uphold the national language, Indonesian. In plain view, the younger generation and the public are still many who do not know about the position and function of Indonesian. There it is forgotten that the Indonesian actually has a function as a symbol of the pride of nationhood, national identity, means of transportation atarwarga, interregional and intercultural, as well as tools that allow the unification of the various ethnic groups with socio-cultural background and language of each into a unitary national Indonesia , It is very clear that the Indonesian association as an intermediate language (lingua franca) from time immemorial.

Abstract

Literary work is a socio-cultural documentation. This is because the socio-cultural influence the creation of works of literature itself. Following the feminist studies on novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk and Perempuan Berkalung Surban. The research is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique document. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that the RDP and PBS equally raised about women, especially girls. Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk exploit girls economically while Perempuan Berkalung Surban not provide an opportunity for girls to determine their own lives. Both novels are equally illustrate inequities in girls.

Abstract

Thesis is the final project of writing for students as one of the important document that represents the prestige of the institution. There are still many errors or incompatibility with the principles of the scientific diversity of languages in the thesis. Therefore, research needs to be done about it. This study aims to: 1) describe the use of scientific language on the writing of students of Department of Islamic Education IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, 2) describes the types of errors using scientific language in the thesis of the department, 3) fix the mistakes the use of scientific language, and 4) writing scientific language to describe the problems and alternative solutions. Data were taken randomly by 20% (24 thesis) of a total population of 120 thesis. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the analysis of data errors, word formation found 31 errors, 61 errors word choice, sentence drafting error 62, 11 arrangement error of reasoning, and the application of rule 105 spelling errors. In addition, there are eight abstract by writing clauses ended up using the same words, but a matter of a different percentage. There are also eight title essay that begins with the word influence.

Abstract

Facebook already familiar among students, thus giving rise to problems in the form of formulation of the problem. How harness, effectiveness studies, and student learning outcomes associated with social media media (facebook) in improving the learning skills to produce historical narrative text in class XII IPS 1SMAN 3 Bojonegoro academic year 2015/2016? The method in use is the method of data collection in the form of questionnaires and interviews, and observations during the study (good attitude, knowledge and skills). Results of the research in this paper indicate that Facebook utilize media based learning as e-learning will be developed along technology. The learned very look fabulous. Students of class XII IPS -1 amounted to 32 students. Students who scored above 79 to as many as 27 students or equal to 84.4%. This means that students experiencing learning completeness. While students who scored below 79 or 78 down as much as 5 students, equivalent to 15.6%. Means there are five students who did not complete the work TCS.Saran in this study should be a teacher, the use of FB as a learning medium based e-learning, especially in order to improve the achievement of learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the writing skills of the students at the boarding school in terms of form and rules of Indonesian. This research strategy using case studies from August to November 2013. Data selected with purposive sampling techniques consisting of, 15 male students and 15 female students. Data were collected through: 1) observation, 2) interview, 3) sheets of observations, and 4) test. Validity reached by: 1) triangulation of data sources, 2) triangulation of data collection methods, and 3) review of informant. Data analysis use traditional two stages, ie, classifying and interactive analysis model of Miles. The results are: 1) the students do not understand the type or form of composition description; 2) there are errors on: (a) the use of capital letters, (b) the use of letters or italics, (c) the use of punctuation comma, (d) condensation said, (e) writing 'di' as preposition and 'di' as affix, and (f) writing the correct word in accordance EYD; 3) students do not understand the process of forming a word; 4) students have not been able to write a sentence properly and effectively; and 5) students do not understand and pay attention to the meaning of sentences.
