Abstract

Pertemuan antara new media, budaya pop, dan perempuan muslim telah membawa banyak implikasi. Salah satunya mudah kita dapati perempuan muslim kini yang senang mengekspresikan diri di media sosial. Pihak perempuan yang dahulunya sering menjadi pihak yang terbungkam atau termarjinalkan kini sudah mendapatkan angin segar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana penggunaan media sosial oleh perempuan muslim. Apakah dengan kebebasan di media sosial mampu membuat mereka berani berkomentar mengenai suatu isu/pihak lain? Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisis wacana Theo van Leeuwen guna memeriksa sisi tekstual pada status online perempuan muslim. Sementara pemilihan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Dari pengamatan penelitian didapat kesimpulan bahwa mayoritas perempuan muslim yang menjadi informan mengomentari isu tertentu dengan menggunakan strategi inklusi. Meskipun beberapa terlihat cukup berhati-hati dalam pemilihan diksinya dengan memperhatikan kepantasan dalam penyampaian pesannya.

Abstract

Crisis should be handled properly because it can threat the image and reputation oforganizations if it is too late to be handled. The fulfillment needs the information in terms?of responding crisis communication was very important to consider a lot of outstanding?issues in the society at the time of crisis. Media was the fulfillment needs information that was?important for the society. At the time of crisis organization or institution should understand?that the news was published in the media containing specific massage. The reasearch method?is content analysis that can be used to learn caracteristic features of message. The purpose?of this study was determine whether there was differences election crisis communicationresponse by category SCCT Theory in local media reports Solopos and Joglosemar period?from februari until march 2014. The result showed that there was not difference in the?election crisis communication response by SCCT Theory. This is evidenced by the data that?the categorization of crisis response in the media Solopos was same categorization of crisis?response found in Joglosemar media. Categorization crisis response is largest at Solopos?that was Attack the accuser with 22 responses (28,9%) of 76 crisis response that was found.?Whereas Joglosemar with 12 responses ( 31,5%) of 38 crisis response that was found.Response attack the accuser showed that the organization does not wanted to be blamed on?the crisis, it is based on perspektive of the media.

Abstract

Many students? failures in perceiving the information from their teacher are caused by the unsuitability of communication style between teacher and students. It means that if a teacher has appropriate style in transferring information to the students, all subjects, including citizenship, will be easily understood. Indirectly, The fun style of teacher can improve the spirit or motivation of students in learning the materials given. Learning motivation of students can be arisen from the objective or encouragement to gain the expected results. This research aimed to study the effects of communication style of the teacher of Citizenship in motivating grade 8 students of Junior High Shool 3 of Wonogiri. The reseracher took 50 students of grade 8 in Junior High School 3 of Wonogiri as the samples of the research. The data analysis applied simple linear regression analysis. Data results showed that the communication style of teacher had significant influence in motivating learning motivation of grade 8 students of Junior High school 3 of Wonogiri so that it can be concluded that the style of communication of teacher took effect significantly in motivating learning motivation of students. However, data showed that there was only 28.2% of the learning motivation coming from the teacher?s style of communication and the rest (71.8%) came from other factors such as internal and external factors (society, family).?

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deksriptif kualitatif yang memaparkan mengenai manajemen ?omunikasi eksternal PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk dalam proses pembangunan pabrik. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan wawancara terstruktur dan observasi nonpartisipan. Sumber data menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik interaktif dengan tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Teknik validitas data penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen komunikasi eksternal PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk meliputi perencanaan (berupa mapping sosial, pertemuan dengan para kepala desa dan dengar pendapat para ahli), pengorganisasian (meliputi menjalin hubungan dengan pemerintah pusat, provinsi, kota dan desa), pengarahan (meliputi sosialisasi mengenai multiplyer effectpabrik, mengadakan kunjungan ke pabrik semen di Tuban, dan program CSR), dan pengawasan (meliputi berdirinya kantor perwakilan yang berada di Kabupaten Rembang).

Abstract

Praja Muda Karana (Pramuka) adalah organisasi kepanduan yang merupakan wadah bagi pelajar untuk mengembangkan potensi kemandirian dan perkembangan diri. Untuk menjadi pramuka yang unggul dan berprestasi, maka setiap pelajar dibekali buku saku pramuka. Namun, seringkali buku saku tersebut jarang digunakan, biasanya hanya diletakkan di dalam tas ataupun disimpan. Oleh karena itu peneliti berinisiatif untuk merancang dan membuat buku saku tersebut ke dalam bentuk aplikasi buku saku gerakan pramuka bilingual berbasis android. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) dalam perancangan dan pembangunan sistemnya. Selanjutnya proses didahului dengan pembuatan Use Case Diagram, dan diimplementasikan menggunakan aplikasi Android Developer Tools (ADT) untuk membuat program berbasis android mobile. Hasil yang didapat dalam penilaian melalui kuesioner yang telah diujikan pada siswa SDN Tunggul Sari II, siswa SMP N 2 Kartasura, dan siswa SMK N 4 Sukoharjo didapat kesimpulan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat membantu dalam media pembelajaran kegiatan kepramukaan dengan persentase interpretasi sebesar 96 %. Sedangkan hasil kuesioner yang telah diujikan pada mahasiswa FKIP UMS serta guru SDN Tunggul Sari II, SMP N 2 Kartasura dan SMK N 4 Sukoharjo didapatkan hasil 89 % dan 96 % menyatakan aplikasi ini sangat sesuai sebagai pedoman bahan ajar kepramukaan dan kepelatihan pramuka. Berdasarkan hasil di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Buku Saku Pramuka Bilingual Berbasis Android ini bermanfat untuk kemajuan dan pengembangan Pramuka Indonesia.

Abstract

The application of management aspects by a CRO to complete empowerment activities can be?done by a work style which tends to lead to participative leadership. The leadership components?consists of consultation, joint decision making, power sharing, decentralization, empowerment,?democratic management tested to see the effects on the community empowerment program fromPT. Holcim Indonesia Tbk. Cilacap. PT. Holcim Indonesia Cilacap Tbk. is one of the companies who?received many awards related to successful of their performance community development as aform empowerment of local communities, that is Posdaya (Family Empowerment Program).?This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of participative leadership style of the?Community Relations Officer (CRO) PT. Holcim Indonesia Tbk Cilacap - Plant toward Posdaya (Family Empowerment Centre) in North Cilacap. This study uses quantitative methods and the data collected by the distribution of questionnaires which consist as 96 samples. It was measured by using?slovin formulate with a degree of error is 5 % for 126 communities. The research was used proportional sampling as a sampling technique and analyzed by SPSS for windows 16.00, include validity?and reliability tests to examine the questionnaires. t-test, F-test and coefficient of determination?(R2) were the part of a simple regression analysis to prove the hypothesis of the research. Based?on the data analysis, the simple linear regression equation is Y = 11.370 + 0,423X, its means that?there was a linearly and positively influence of participative leadership style on the performance?of Posdaya communities. The conclusion is if participative leadership style of the CRO is increased,?the performance of Posdaya will also increase.

Abstract

Information system reliability can be measured by the availability of system when the information is needed. Server activeness is among the important factors to get reliable information system. Inactiveness of servers obstructs information availability and needs an early detection so that system administrator may quickly overcome the problem and restore the system.?A tools is needed to help a system admin detect server inactiveness, which alerts the admin of any possible problem. In this research, a tool is created using python programming language to periodically detect activeness of servers simultaneously. The result is logged into a file for later analysis. Whenever the tool detect inactiveness, it sends an email to the admin account and/or send a text message to a specified number.?Observation proves that the tools works as expected. The tools should be installed in one of the servers or in a computer close the server farm because network connectivity and computer location have a great influence to the monitoring activity.?

Abstract

Tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan atau yang lebih dikenal dengan corporate social responsibility (CSR) merupakan salah satu tindakan nyata yang dilakukan perusahaan yang sesungguhnya memiliki peran dan dampak yang luas bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan lingkungan sekitar maupun diluar perusahaan tersebut. Pada aktivitas CSR di CSB Mall tidak terdapat divisi khusus dalam melaksanakan kegiatan Public relations (PR), namun aktivitas PR dilaksanakan oleh bagian pemasaran. Sehingga aktivitas public relations di CSB Mall bisa dilakukan oleh setiap pemimpin maupun karyawan. Pihak CSB Mall telah melakukan fungsi public relations yang telah ditentukan oleh PRSA yang meliputi community relations, employee relations, publicity, media relations, goverment affairs, dan special event. Bidang kegiatan CSR adalah dalam kegiatan agama, sosial dan pendidikan.

Abstract

The acquisition PT IDKM by PT EMTEK that have an impact of the unification INDOSIAR?and SCTV in the same holding company between period 2011 ? 2012, bring a nation-wide?discussion about concentration of media television ownership in Indonesia. Broadcast act?no.32/2002 with Indonesia Broadcasting Commision as an independent regulatory body?considered weak in the face of concentration. This paper provide a comprehensive description?about the dynamics interaction between agent and structure of Indonesian broadcasting?system particularly in order to organize commercial television media ownership.

Abstract

The mass media, whether print or broadcast (TV and Radio) plays a significant role in disseminating important messages to the public / society. Karl Marx said "that the media referred to as the class that set, in the system of modern capitalism. So therefore the media in the present era, into a commodity economy and politics, because of its function and because ownership massive by individuals (owners of capital). That allows, position the media and not only to function as a disseminator of information, but because of the ownership of such individuals, are very likely to be a tool for "political dealings", rather than as a function of social control. in the practice of political communication, media becomes a medium that is not inevitable in conveying messages politics, especially during the campaign, the elections political leadership, good legislative elections, presidential elections, and the elections. Radar Banten and Baraya TV is a media agency which is recognized as a great and influential in Banten province, which is a member of the Jawa Pos ( Java Post News Network) beperan menyerbarluaskan major messages of the prospective head region in the activities of the campaign. The phenomenon of political economic practices, be a gamble for the function and positioning to the two media institutions.
