The purposes of this research are to find out the available contribution and to measure the teachers? learning capacity and need of achievement to students? responsibility, students? responsibility to the self-directed learning and the teachers? learning capacity, need of achievement and students? responsibility to the self-directed learning in Civic Education on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School. This is a quantitative research. The location of this research on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School. This research is begun in the end of the second semester academic year of 2012/2013. The samples are 114 for the population as many as 172 with 5% error. Technique of sampling is used proportional sampling. Technique of collecting data is used questioner. The results of this research are 1) there is a weak and significant contribution from the teachers? learning capacity and need of achievement to the students? responsibility in learning Civic Education on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School, 2) there is a weak and significant contribution from the students? responsibility to the students? self-directed learning in learning Civic Education on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School, 3) there is a weak and significant contribution from the teachers? learning capacity, the need of achievement and the students? responsibility to the students? self-directed learning in learning Civic Education on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School.

The focus of this research is the management of School Service Funding inJunior High School 1 of Simo. The objectives of this research are to describe the planning, implementation and the reporting of School Service Funding in Junior High School 1 of Simo on the Revenue and Expenditure Budget Mechanism of Boyolali Regency on 2011.The design of this research is ethnography. The location of this research is in Junior High School 1 of Simo. The informants in this research are the principal, the teachers, the school committee and the students. The methods of collecting data in this research are 1) in depth interview the principal, the teachers, the school committee and the students, 2) active observation and 3) documentation. Data analyze is using Interactive Analyze Model. Data validity is used sources triangulations and methods triangulations.The results of this research are 3. 1) the team management of School Service Funding made planning with the committee according to the national education standard which the priority on the routine cost. 2) the cost with School Service Funding was according on the instruction and applying cross subsidy. 3) the cost with School Service Funding was supported with payment check and goods, made on reports and announced written and oral.

The aim of this research was conducted to identify the problems and needs of vocational teachers of business and management pascasertifikasi in Semarang for conducting sustainable professional development to improve professionalism. This study used a qualitative research approach. The subjects in this study were vocational teachers of Business and Management in Semarang Pascasertifikasi totaled 191 teachers consists of 77 teachers of Civil Servants (PNS) and 114 private teachers. Determination of the source of the data is done by sampling purposive. Technique of data gathering used are triangulation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and open questionnaire. Data analysis technique using data interaction analysis model is to collect the data, reducing the data, collate data reduction and data ferivikasi with Focus Group Discution (FGD). The results showed a small proportion of teachers have implemented the appropriate sustainable professional development minimum of credits score and most of the teachers have executed agreements but do not meet all the sub-elements of Sustainable professional development and credit score has not complied with the minimum of credits score required.

Act No. 14/ 2005 about Teachers and Lecturers and PP (GovernmentDecree) No 74/2008 about Teachers give an instruction to the government to certify on-going-occupation teachers of all courses in requirements. Based on the survey of Directorate General of PMPTK in 2009/, however, the program of certification couldn?t have developed teachers? competency and professionalism significantly so that it does not positively take an effect on teachers? performance development. The study aims to describe a model of biology teachers? professional competency development based on the early competency test (UKA) in Surakarta. The procedure of research development used R & D model developed by Borg & Gall (2007), and then simplified by Samsudi (2009; 92) into three main stage: 1) introduction, 2) development, and 3) validation for finding a model. The introduction of the study empirically analyzed a model of professional competency development through Biology MGMP, called as factual model nowadays and theoretically analyzed the relevant researchers. It employed a survey approach while the instrument was questionnaires. The respondents or informants with purposive sampling were the heads of LPMP ? Provincial Central Java, Education Agency of Regency/Mayor, Principals, the Committees of Biology MGMP, and Biology Teachers. In the stage of development, the researcher formulated an early development; then it was analyzed and matched with the relevant theories for making a model design developed in the form of Figure or Model Figure after validated through focus group discussion (FGD). The results of the study stated that a model of biology teachers? professional competency based on the early competency test included the following characters: 1) implementing a model began with a competency test; 2) the activities reflected the aspect of continuing professional development (CDP); 3) the supervision was periodically realized by principals or course teachers); 4) giving feed-back for the next development was based on the evaluation; and 5) the speakers of Higher Education with relevant sciences were involved in the activities.

This study aims to reveal the type of school leadership, creative efforts in developing creative educational institutions and Superior, with a sub-focus include : (1) What type of leadership that principals applied in the development of Islamic education institutions Creative Muhtadin elementary school (2) any efforts made in the development of the principal institutions of Islamic Education Creative Muhtadin elementary school and (3) the desired output targets Creative Muhtadin elementary school. This study uses qualitative research in the form of case studies. The data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation. While the techniques of data analysis, researchers use interactive model containing four interrelated components, namely: collection of data, simplification of data, exposure data, and drawing conclusions and filing. The results showed that : (1) the type of principal who applied leadership creative elementary school Muhtadin, the democratic leadership (aspirational accommodating, assertif and open), where the principal during the leadership is able to make changes and have a vision for the future of Islamic education institutions to develop Creative Muhtadin elementary school towards creative and superior schools; (2) any efforts made in the development of the principal institutions of Islamic Education Creative Muhtadin elementary school build a school system; (3) how the desired output targets elementary school creative Muhtadin, namely : initial output (Preliminary Results) and general output targets include.

The objective of research was to examine the contribution of 1) teacher professional competency, motivation, and perception on headmaster leadership simultaneously to teacher discipline, and 2) teacher perception on headmaster leadership to teacher discipline. This study was a qualitative research with survey method, while the technique used was path analysis, used to examine the size of contribution indicated by path coefficient in every path diagram. The population of research was the teachers of public junior high schools in Surakarta city consisting of 1179 persons. The sample consisted of 300 teachers, taken using multistage random sampling technique. The author employed two-tailed test at significance level of 0.05. The results of research were that 1) there was a significant contribution of teacher perception on headmaster leadership to teacher discipline with contribution of 77.1% simultaneously, and 2) there was a significant contribution of teacher perception on headmaster leadership to teacher discipline by 77.1% The research could explain the total variability of 77.1%. The contribution of 22.9% came from variables excluded from the focus of research.
