Abstract

Today, in Sharia Finance Sector, there was some a new model of sharia finance based on Financial Technology, it is called Islamic Financial Technology (I-Fintech). In other side, A Generation Z comes up as consumer of I-Fintech in the future. There is a big question like “do Generation Z accept I-Fintech in the future?”. Using Technology Acceptance Model with 3 proxy, it is Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Attitude Toward Using. The result of this research show that Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use affect on Attitude Toward Using I-Fintech. The conclusion is Generation Z’s perceived on I-Fintech are depend on its usefulness and ease of use. This result implied on the development focus of I-Fintech in the future.

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this study was to examine the potential factors affecting employees to perform whistleblowing in Indonesian regional government level. The examined factors included supervisor support, protection, compensation and the level of fraud severity.This study was conducted by testing 130 civil servants who have worked in a number of regions in Indonesia. The test was done by handing out questionnaires that consisted of some questions and two case studies. The participants were asked to answer one of the available  five answer choices which were related to the decision of fraud disclosure in regional government. The result showed that employees were willing to disclose any fraud in the workplace if they received sufficient supervisor support, protections and considered that the level of fraud was serious. However, it was found that compensation did not affect the employees to perform whistleblowing.Keywords: Whistleblowing, Wrongdoing, Supervisor Support, Protection, Compensation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of taxation regulations understanding, tax knowledge, tax sanctions, service quality and tax administration system modernization to the tax compliance of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) individuals Taxpayer. This study uses a quantitative method with the respondents are MSME individual taxpayers which were registered at the Small Tax Office (KPP Pratama) in Surakarta. The accidental sampling method are used with a total sample collected are 99 respondents. This study also uses multiple linear regression models as data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that tax regulations understanding, tax knowledge, tax sanctions, and service quality affect the tax compliance of MSME individuals Taxpayer. Meanwhile, the modernization of the tax administration system does not influence the compliance of taxpayers on MSME individuals.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure and investment decisions on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable. Capital structure is measured by debt to equity ratio, investment decisions are measured by price earnings ratio, profitability is measured by Return on Assets and firm value is measured by Tobins Q. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis to test the direct effect between variables and the Moderated Regression Analysis is used to test the effect of moderating variables. The sampling method uses purposive sampling technique. The research sample amounted to 18 LQ45 non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017. The results of the study prove that capital structure, investment decisions and profitability have a significant positive effect on firm value. Profitability is proven to be able to moderate the influence of capital structure and investment decisions on firm value. The implications of this study indicate that profitability has an important role in realizing the dimensions of the company's growth prospects that have an impact with increasing corporate value.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of profitability, leverage, firm size, liquidity, and total assets turnover on real earnings management. The population of this research is the classification of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2017. The sampling method used a purposive sampling method and obtained as many as 80 companies. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression method. The results showed that the total asset turnover affected real earnings management. While profitability, leverage, firm size, and liquidity did not affect real earnings management.

Abstract

The maximum quality of audit findings in fraud auditing is inseparable from the implementation of e-Audit and its implementation requires a good audit work environment. There is an indication of the decreasing trust of beneficiaries in the reliability of audit results due to the increasing number of bribery cases against auditors. This study aims to examine the audit experience as moderating the application of e-Audit and the audit work environment on the quality of audit findings in fraud auditing. The population in this study was the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (AKN 1) in 2020. The method used for sampling was purposive sampling and it was obtained a sample of 30 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis methods and moderate regression analysis with the assistance of the SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicated that there was a positive significance in the application of e-Audit and the audit work environment on the quality of audit findings in fraud auditing, and audit experience did not moderate this research model. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the application of e-Audit and the audit work environment had an effect on the quality of audit findings in fraud auditing, and audit experience did not moderate the application of e-Audit and the audit work environment on the quality of audit findings in fraud auditing

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the quality of risk management according to investor reactions in property, real estate, and building construction companies listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) in 2016-2018. The reaction of investors in this research is indicated by stock returns. In addition, this research also examines wider and more complete disclosure of the company can reduce information asymmetry with investors to make investment decisions. Based on the signaling theory, companies that disclose more information will be used as good news by investors and getting a positive reaction. The population in this research are property company, real estate company, and construction building company which registered on Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) in 2016 – 2018. This research is using a sampling method (purposive judgment sampling) for getting 25 from 74 company which registered on Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) with 75 samples. This research using multiple regression analysis.The results from the research provided that the disclosure of operations risk and empowerment risk has a positive and significant effect on stock returns while strategic risk, integrity risk, and information processing and technology risks have no significant effect on stock returns. According to this result provided that more disclosure on operations risk management and the risk of corporate empowerment can affect stock returns as a form of investor reaction, while the things that companies need to pay attention to in voluntary disclosure as additional are influence of strategic risk disclosure, integrity risk, and information processing and technology risks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the quality of village financial statements using SISKEUDes (village financial system application), which had been implemented in villages in the Tegal Regency as an intervening variable. These factors encompassed human resource competence, management commitment, system user training, and data quality. This study’s population was all users of the SISKEUDes system in villages throughout Tegal Regency, totaling 281 villages. The sampling technique employed was the convenience sampling method. Respondents were the SISKEUDes application users who were present at the SISKEUDes 2.0 software extension program. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 281 SISKEUDes users, but only 218 could be processed into data. The data analysis then utilized SEM-PLS with Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results showed that human resource competence, top management commitment, and user training directly had a significant positive effect on the quality of village financial statements. Besides, the variable of SISKEUDes implementation served as a mediation variable for system user training on the quality of village financial statements.

Abstract

The research is aimed to analyze the effect of company size, profitability, tax, and good corporate governance on the company’s decision to transfer pricing. The dependent variable in this study is transfer pricing which is proxied by the value of the related party transaction sale. The independent variables in this study are company size, profitability, tax, and KAP quality. This research used secondary data on financial reports or annual reports on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. Determination of the sample employed purposive sampling method. The sample in this study were 22 companies with 88 data. The results in this study found that (1) company size had a positive effect on transfer pricing, (2) profitability had no effect on transfer pricing, (3) tax had no effect on transfer pricing, and (4) KAP quality had no effect on transfer pricing.

Abstract

Local governments are given the authority to manage their regional finances independently. One area that provides the biggest contribution in Local Revenue is local tax. For that reason, the regional government, especially the city of Surakarta, seeks to increase tax revenue, one of which is by implementing an online-based local tax monitoring system on regional self-assessment taxes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in regional tax revenue before and after the implementation of online-based local tax monitoring in the context of increasing Surakarta City's Original Regional Revenue. The data in this study are secondary and primary data, secondary data including realization data and hotel tax targets, restaurant tax, and parking tax during the period October 2016-September 2018 which amounted to 24 data obtained from BPPKAD Surakarta City and primary data obtained from the results interview at BPPKAD Surakarta City. The analysis technique used to analyze data is descriptive statistics, and willcoxon signed rank test, using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) tools. The results showed that by using the Wilcoxon signed rank test there were differences in tax revenues on hotel taxes, restaurant taxes, and parking taxes before and after the implementation of this online-based regional tax monitoring, sequentially 0.004 0.05, 0.002 0.05, and 0.002 0.05. The implementation of monitoring went quite well, as evidenced by the potential for tax leaks to be minimized which would automatically have an impact in increasing the original revenue of the city of Surakrta.
