Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the material, instructional strategy, media, and interaction of IT-Based Economic Learning for Class XII at SMAN 1 Getasan. It was a qualitative study using ethnographic design. Data collection method used was in depth interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis technique used was analysis arranged in site. Data validity test used was credibility and confirmability.The findings suggested that the Economic subject materials taught at SMAN 1 Getasan were from Economic textbook published by Yudistira, Students worksheets, and also other references such as internet. Strategies of IT-Based Economic Learning at SMAN 1 Getasan focused not only on the use of technology but also on the principle of active students. lnstructional media of IT-based economic learning at SMAN 1 Getasan was very practical as presented in electronic form via LCD or player. Media used were macromedia flash software. There were one-way and two-way interactions in it. Oneway interaction occurred when teachers delivered material required an understanding while students were asked to pay attention. Two-way interactions were visible in all teachers and students activities in question and answer sessions, study group activities, and discussion.

Abstract

Unemployment has become one of the major problems in Indonesia in the last eight years. SBY administration decides many economic policies in order to overcome the problem, but it seems not enough. However, the rate of foreign direct investment in Indonesia is increasing in the last three years. Macroeconomic indicators show that everything in its right track. This research analyzes the effects of FDI rate to employment rate in Indonesia. This research uses empirical data from ADB from 1983-2004. This research uses error correction model as a tool of analyses. The result shows that FDI rate does not have effect to employment rate. It means that FDI does not open job opportunity for many unemployer in Indonesia. In the end, this paper discusses the possibility of industrial policy in order to provide direction for government to develop Indonesia’s industry.

Abstract

Secara konsep, tantrum merupakan hal yang baru bagi kebanyakan orangtua, padahal padakenyataannya perilaku ini adalah hal yang lumrah dialami oleh orangtua dalam pengasuhan anak.Perilaku tantrum adalah perilaku yang normal pada anak yang berusia 15 bulan sampai 6 tahun. Karenaitu, orangtua tidak perlu risau jika anak mengalami hal ini. Sekalipun dalam bentuk perilaku yang agresif,perilaku ini bukanlah perilaku permanen yang abnormal. Ini terjadi karena ketidaknyaman yang dirasakanoleh anak dengan beberapa sebab seperti lapar, ngantuk, sakit, keinginannya terhalangi, orang tua salahmerespon kebutuhan anak, diserang atau dikritik, dirampas permainannya atau bertemu dengan orangasing dan beberapa sebab lainnya. Pola pengasuhan yang tidak konsisten juga berkontribusi besarterhadap perilaku ini termasuk jika orang tua terlalu memanjakan dan menuruti keinginan anak. Karenaini adalah perilaku normal, maka orang tua perlu meresponnya secara tepat dan proporsional, sebab jikasalah dalam memberikan perlakuan akan berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan anak. Tulisan inibertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai apa yang dimaksud dengan perilaku tantrum, teorinya,penyebabnya, serta bagaimana cara menghadapi anak yang mengalami tantrum.Kata Kunci: pengasuhan, tantrum, agrsivitas anak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of ratioanalysis to forecast changes in earnings. In this case the researchers used the data in the formof financial statements of listed manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).Researchers used sample of 32 manufacturing firms selected at random purposive sampling,the manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange during 2007-2008 period. Thedata used are the financial statements audited financial statements as of December 31 in orderto avoid the presence of a partial financial statement data. Analysis tool used is multiple regressionanalysis, t test, F test, and coefficients of determination were tested with the classical assumption test. Based on the results of dataanalysis can be concluded that the variables CR andthe TATO has a significant influence on changes in earnings. As for the DER and NPM variables no significant effect on change in earnings.

Abstract

This study analyzes the design of packaging for both food products produced by KUB Sukarasa Tourism Village Organic Sukorejo Sragen. This is important because the packaging is one of the marketing tools. Food products in KUB Sukarasa in District Sambirejo Sragen sold in transparent plastic packaging and without label. This makes the level of sales is not maximized. This research has three objectives: first, create a packaging design that has the right size so easily carried by consumers and attractive for sale by the merchant. The second objective, informative designing packaging labels, such as product name, manufacturers address, net weight, expiration date, product composition, and information about kosher. The research method used was experimental. The end result of this research is a product packaging design good food and interesting. This packaging design can be used by UMKM to develop their product marketing strategies in order to increase sales.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the business risks that arise from a disaster thatbegins with SMEs understanding of business risk from disasters in Surakarta. Furthermore, is toanalyzed risk perception the in Surakarta SMEs, which most likely can happen and the impact ontheir businesses. In addition, this study also identifies the problems and opportunities of riskmanagement in SMEs at Surakarta. The population of this study was SMEs entrepreneurs inSurakarta. Data collection was done by two methods: survey and in-depth interviews. Descriptivestatistical methods were used in this study were the frequency and value of cross-tab analysis toclassify data. Research results indicate that (1) presence Indonesian SMEs in general and inSurakarta in particular is essential for economic growth. (2) The management of SMEs can not beseparated on the threat of business risks that may arise from time to time. (3) Risk management is not only a SMEs responsibility solely, but also the responsibility of the Government and relevant institutions risk management business (Banking and Insurance). (4)The impact of the disaster,which is one business risk for SMEs can be transferred to the insurance as an institution that can help guarantee against losses caused by the disaster.

Abstract

The objectives of the study are: to analyze the level of preparedness of the stakeholdersin the adaptation and mitigation of floods in Surakarta, and to develop strategies to strengthen thecapacity of adaptation and mitigation of floods in Surakarta. Mixed-method of quantitative andqualitative has been employed to develop the strategy posed. The competent 15 keypersons wereselected using purposive quoted sampling for interview. Descriptive statistics and AHP wereemployed to analize the data. The results showed that that the stakeholders do not yet optimal inmitigation and adaptation to flooding. Capacity building strategy can be done through (a)developa strategic plan for overcoming Flood, (b) education, training and socialization of the adaptation and mitigation of flooding, (c) development and improvement of the physical aspects, (d)publicparticipation in flood mitigation, (e) planning and provision of logistics, funding, and equipment,(f) preparation of SOP flooding, and (g) encourage the protection of assets through insurance.

Abstract

This research aims was to figure out user’s satisfaction index towards this public service toward Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). BPS is a non-ministry government institution implements the bureaucracy reform, and provides comprehensive, accurate, and sophisticated statistics in order to create a System of National Statistics. The data analysis technique for this research is Users (people who once used The Central Bureau of Statistic Service) Satisfaction Index, counted through weighted average values of some service elements based on Number 63/KEP/M.PAN/7/2003. Among the 120 users of The Central Bureau of Statistics, this research shows that The Satisfaction Index reaches 75.31 (good), but it still need to be improved remember there are some indicators showing a not quite good Performance Index. Totally 20 out of 24 indicators are categorized into ‘good service’, while the other fours indicator need to be enhanced and improved.
