Abstract

The Padangsambian Kaja Village Government in Denpasar City through the SDGsprogram from the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions andTransmigration has implemented clean and renewable energy. The power plant being operatedis the rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of 7,2 kWp which is connected to the PLNnetwork. The study was conducted to determine the performance of the installed solar powerplant with the help of HelioScope software simulation. Energy production will be comparedbetween the simulation results of the 2 scenarios with the results of monitoring on the inverter inthe period from May to July 2021, so that it will be known the factors that influence theproduction of solar power plant energy. The results show the potential for energy productioneach year from the simulation results of scenario 1 and scenario 2 respectively are 9.964 kWhand 10.306 kWh, and the simulation results for energy production in the period from May to Julyin scenario 1 and scenario 2 respectively are 2.937,3 kWh and 3.057,8 kWh. Energy productionfrom scenario 1 and scenario 2 simulation is higher than real energy production, with adifference of 180,9 kWh with a percentage of 6,1% for scenario 1, and 301,4 kWh with apercentage of 9,8% for scenario 2.

Abstract

GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) Pecatu is one of the GI built by PT. PLN (Persero) toprovide energy continuity to its customers. In the GIS Pecatu there is no lighting arrester (LA)because the equipment in the GIS Pecatu is located indoors. Where there is only LA from thedirection of the GI Nusa Dua to the GIS Pecatu with a distance of 12.08 km, so it is necessaryto do study to find out whether the LA from the GI Nusa Dua direction to the GIS Pecatu canprotect the busbar from the traveling wave of lightning surge .The results of the analysis showed using the software simulation method that LA fromthe direction of the GI Nusa Dua to the GIS Pecatu has been able to protect the GIS Pecatubusbar. Simulation results obtained that the current passing through the 150 kV busbar of 1,219kA and the voltage on the busbar during a lightning surge of 4 kV. The voltage on the busbarand the current through the busbar during a surge is still within the tolerance of the maximumsystem voltage of 170 kV and the current ratio of 4 kA.

Abstract

The cleanliness of the solar panels is one of the factors that affect the energyproduction of a solar power plant. Solar panel cleaning is a solution to keep solar panels cleanso that energy production can be optimal. This article reviews research developments andcommercial products for solar panel cleaning, with the result showing various applicabletechniques and commercial products for solar panel cleaning purposes. There are two distincttechniques used in solar panel cleaning, manual and automatic. The manual cleaning method isa method that conducts any action to operate the system manually by humans. The automaticcleaning method is a method that is controlled directly by the system without the need forhuman interference. Commercial solar panel cleaning products include telescopic polesequipped with brushes and water pumps, a robot that is permanently attached to the solar panelsupport construction equipped with dry clean and water clean methods, a robot with portablesystems using long roller brushes, a convenient robot which has a remote vacuum cleanersystem, to a mobile cleaning system using a robotic arm.

Abstract

PLTS is one of the renewable energy technologies sourced from sustainable energy,namely the sun. The potential for solar energy is quite good, making Bali one of the targets forthe energy mix. This research focuses on the production of PV mini-grid energy, savingelectricity costs and finding out whether it is profitable or not to invest in the location, especiallyin one of the SARBAGITA areas located in Perum Nuansa Jimbaran from an economic point ofview. The method used is an economic analysis of investment feasibility, with supportingindicators such as DF, NPV, BCR, DPP, LCC, COE and CRF by considering economic aspects.Yield of this study found that the selling price of PLTS power to PLN was IDR. 1,444.70/kWh,investment cost PLTS is IDR. 61,274,248, it can generate savings of IDR. 5,078,700/year andcumulative income for the 25th year is IDR. 109,341,618. Price sensitivity is very influential onthe cost of PV mini-grid revenue. COE at the energy selling price of IDR 2,888/kWh, can alsoshow the feasibility of the investment so that the investment can be said to be economicallyprofitable.

Abstract

High power needs in badung area, especially Pecatu and Nusa Dua resulted in theneed for GIS development to increase power supply. GIS Pecatu uses a double busbar withOCR as its Backup safety, if one of the busbars is disrupted and there is no protection rele thatsecures the busbar, it will result in continuous power flow is disrupted.In this study, an analysis of the rele busbar setting and the appropriate protectionsetting as a reference protection system in GIS Pecatu. The results of the calculation of currentsetting obtained the working current value (Iset) OCR of 1339 A and (Iset) GFR 223 A anddelay time 0.53 seconds, actual working time rele 0.35 Standard Inverse, and the value of shortcircuit interference current calculation from PLN 11.58 kA and based on simulation resultsobtained 11.46 kA with a percentage of errors of 0.12%.

Abstract

Learning the Qur'an is a necessity for a Muslim, because the Qur'an acts as a guideand way of life. One thing that is learned in the Qur'an is how to pronounce Hijaiyah letters orMakharijul letters. In learning Makharijul Letters it takes an ustaz or accompanying teacher whois limited by distance and time. To overcome the limitations of distance and time, a learningapplication model is needed that can be accessed without the limitations of distance and thetime. This is studied aim to develop the Hijaiyah letter recognition model using the MelFrequency Cepstrum Coefficient (MFCC) and Convulational Neural Network (CNN) methods.Based validation results, the model built using the MFCC and CNN methods can identify theletters read with an accuracy of 49.1%. Then based of the test result with Confusion Matrix, thismodel have a precision value of 50%, recall is 53%, and F-Measure is 0.514.

Abstract

Solar light is an environmentally friendly renewable energy. According to RUEN, BaliProvince has a fairly large potential for solar light utilization, namely 1,254 MW with a target forPLTS development in 2025 of 8.62% or 108.2 MW of its total potential. Therefore, this researchfocuses on the utilization of PLTS Rooftop on-grid as an energy supply at Kori NuansaJimbaran's residence which explains the specifications of the installed PLTS materials andcomponents, as well as the design of the PLTSinstallation in Rooftop terms of technical termsaccording to the requirements of PT. PLN (Persero). The method used is literature review,observation, data collection, data analysis and conclusions. The results showed that the totaldaily load calculation was 26,151 W/day and the total daily energy that could be generated fromthe calculation was 14.58 kWh/day with the measurement results at the research location of13.4 kWh/day where there was a difference of 1.18 kWh caused by due to losses in the system.When viewed from the total daily load the PLTS system has not met the needs, but functionallythe PLTS system is intended for daytime loads so that the needs are appropriate. Optimalinclination angle of 14.66calculation results areº however on measurementsusing a protractortool obtained18º this because the angle of inclination of the solar panels follows the direction ofthe slope of the roof. The installed PLTS design has met the standards of the Minister of Energyand Mineral Resources No. 49 of 2018 and has received an Operational Worthiness Certificate(SLO) from PT. PLN (Persero).

Abstract

An electric power distribution system must be able to provide electricity to customers. So thatthe company as a provider is required to provide the best for its customers by increasing thereliability of the distribution system. The more customers who use electricity, the greater the possiblefault current, therefore it is necessary to calculate the protection in order to minimize the occurrenceof short circuit disturbances. The protection used on the Pidada feeder is Overcurrent Relay (OCR)and Ground Fault Relay (GFR), this protection relay is used to coordinate current settings inaccordance with applicable standards and can overcome short-circuit fault currents. In this research,a study of the coordination of the Pidada feeder's OCR and GFR settings was conducted using theDigSILENT PowerFactory 15.1.7 application. Calculations were carried out using the zone divisionmethod on the feeder. based on the results of the study, it was found that the Pidada feeder was 0.2s, the Bulu Indah recloser was 0.1 s and the Padang Udayana recloser was 0.02 s. Then on and theground fault relay (GFR) obtained results on the Pidada feeder 0.2 s, Bulu Indah recloser 0.1 s andPadang Udayana recloser 0.08 using standard inverse characteristics. The results of this study arein accordance with the applicable standards, where the standard used is IEC 60255 with a dradingtime of 0.3-0.5 seconds.

Abstract

The development of electric vehicles in Indonesia began in 1997 by the IndonesianInstitute of Sciences (LIPI) but since 2013 has slowed down. Presidential Regulation 55/2019strengthens the development of electric vehicles in Indonesia which followed by severalsupporting regulations. Currently, the development of electric vehicles, both in terms of researchand industry or commercial products, is getting better. This paper reviews the current status ofelectric bicycles and electric motorcycles in Indonesia which are commercially available. Theresearch was conducted by through online survey during 2020-2021 which produced adatabase of electric bicycles/motorcycles. Currently, there are 64 electric bicycles and 44electric motorcycles. These vehicles use either two or three wheels with electric drive capacitybetween 180 W to 4200 W. The most common electric motor used is BLDC at 87%. The electricbike/motorcycle has speed ranges between 20 km/h to 70 km/h with battery capacity of 5,2 Ahto 70 Ah with milage ranging from 15 km to 200 km. The information presented will helpstakeholders to get a quick overview of the development of electric bicycles/motorcycles in thecountry and serves as benchmark for developing electric bicycles or motor to meet domesticneeds.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the earthing value of transmission lines which have an earthvalue less than the standard value off SPLN No 121: 1996, namely 10 and recommend anearthing system that meets the standards. Theemethodduseddissa descriptive method bycalculating the value of the earthing system by following the SPLN standard No. 121: 1996. Thisanalysis consists of several stages, namely a site survey, measuring soil resistance (R) tocalculate the value of soil resistivity (?) then calculating the value of grounding resistance with 5types of grounding systems to achieve grounding resistance 10 , namely one electrodegrounding system, 2 electrode grounding system planted vertically S > L, 2 electrode earthingsystem planted vertically S < L, plate earthing system, and a grid-rod earthing system. Theresults of the research are for paddy fields using a vertical one-electrode earthing system, thevalue is 7.32 ? with a manufacturing cost of Rp. 857,000, on farmland with a vertical oneelectrodeearthing system, the value is 8.36 ? with a manufacturing cost of Rp. 1,363,000, andon clay soil with a vertical one-electrode earthing system, the result is 7.98 ? with amanufacturing cost of Rp. 857,000.
