Abstract

Polymeric insulators are widely used now days due to some advantages such as compact design, light, handy and easy to install therefore less installation cost. However, polymeric insulator can be deteriorate by ageing process due to UV, severe weather, extreme temperature, humidity, and vandalism. Deterioration due to severe weather and vandalism are usually undetectable. There are many techniques have been introduced in order to detect the insulator condition, one of the technique is introduce here by using Partial Discharge analysis. Study has been done in High Voltage Lab of UNSW Australia in order to investigate the potential of using Partial Discharge Measurement technique to monitor the insulator condition. Continuous PD measurement by examining the PD patterns and behaviour of three different insulator materials that are subjected to high humidity and pollution in the small chamber has been done. PD measurement has done by utilizing Computer Discharge Analyser 3 (CDA3). PD pattern was studied and examined including its statistical distribution and its scatter plot. It was done to be able to identify the PD’s parameters that can be used for condition monitoring. Polymeric insulators were tested in clean and polluted condition. The PD signal analysis can be done in energized condition by using high frequency current transformer. The CDA3 results in particular the statistical distributions and the scatter plots have exhibited a good correlation to the change of insulator’s surface condition. PD’s statistical distributions have given quantitative data of insulator’s surface condition, whereas the scatter plots have given the qualitative data. In addition, it was also found that high frequency component of the PD’s signal spectrum occurred when the insulator’s surface has been damaged. This monitoring technique of polymeric insulator condition by using PD analysis has a great potential.

Abstract

Agglomerative hierarchical is a bottom up clustering method, where the distances between documents can be retrieved by extracting feature values using a topic-based latent dirichlet allocation method. To reduce the number of features, term selection can be done using Luhn’s Idea. Those methods can be used to build the better clusters for document. But, there is less research discusses it. Therefore, in this research, the term weighting calculation uses Luhn’s Idea to select the terms by defining upper and lower cut-off, and then extracts the feature of terms using gibbs sampling latent dirichlet allocation combined with term frequency and fuzzy Sugeno method. The feature values used to be the distance between documents, and clustered with single, complete and average link algorithm. The evaluations show the feature extraction with and without lower cut-off have less difference. But, the topic determination of each term based on term frequency and fuzzy Sugeno method is better than Tsukamoto method in finding more relevant documents. The used of lower cut-off and fuzzy Sugeno gibbs latent dirichlet allocation for complete agglomerative hierarchical clustering have consistent metric values. This clustering method suggested as a better method in clustering documents that is more relevant to its gold standard.

Abstract

People with hearing disabilities are those who are unable to hear, resulted in their disability to communicate using spoken language. The solution offered in this research is by creating a one way translation technology to interpret spoken language to Indonesian sign language system (SIBI). The mechanism applied here is by catching the sentences (audio) spoken by common society to be converted to texts, by using speech recognition. The texts are then processed in text processing to select the input texts. The next stage is stemming the texts into prefixes, basic words, and suffixes. Each words are then being indexed and matched to SIBI. Afterwards, the system will arrange the words into SIBI sentences based on the original sentences, so that the people with hearing disabilities can get the information contained within the spoken language. This technology success rate were tested using Confusion Matrix, which resulted in precision value of 76%, accuracy value of 78%, and recall value of 79%. This technology has been tested in SMP-LB Karya Mulya on the 7th grader students with the total of 9 students. From the test, it is obtained that 86% of students stated that this technology runs very well.

Abstract

Ambiguous sentences are divided into 3 types namely phonetic, lexical, and grammatical. This study focuses on grammatical ambiguous sentences, grammatical ambiguous sentences are ambiguities that occur due to incorrect grammar, but this ambiguity will disappear once it is used within a sentence.  Ambiguous sentences become a big problem when they are processed by a computer. In order for the computer to interpret ambiguous words correctly, this study seeks to develop detection of Indonesian ammbiguous sentences using Boyer Moore algorithm. This algorithm matches ambiguous sentences that are inserted as input with the data set. Then the sentence is being detected whether it contains ambiguous sentences, by calculating the percentage of similarity using cosine similarity method. Cosine similarity system is able to find out the meaning of the sentence. In the data set, the number of ambiguous sentences that can be collected is 50 words. The 50 words consist of ambiguous words data, ambiguous sentences, and ambiguous sentence meanings. This system trial was carried out for 200 times and the accuracy level was 0.935, precision was 0.9320, and Recall was 0.8. While the F-Measure was 0.8061. While the speed for word search 0.003275 seconds.

Abstract

Increasing energy demand with limited resources is an obstacle in supplying demand for electrical energy sources at this time. The solution to this problem becomes essential due to the planning of excessive energy supply, as well as planning that does not meet the energy demand will cause new problems on the side of energy production. Therefore accurate energy consumption forecasting is very important. In this study, the projected use of energy in the processing industry sector in Bali uses LEAP software using a database from 2015 to 2018. The use of fuels in the processing industry in Bali according to modeling results will continue to increase until 2050. This increase due to an increase in population resulting in increased demand for processing industry products so that the production of processing industries has increased which directly increases fuel consumption. This increase in production is also due to increased purchasing power, this is shown from the increase in per capita GRDP of Bali province which has increased until 2050. GRDP of the processing industry according to modeling results has increased until 2050 this is in accordance with the energy needs of the processing industry , where an increase in the production of the processing industry will also result in an increase in the GRDP of the processing industry

Abstract

Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is a renewable energy that converts sunlight into electricity. However, the construction of PLTS requires a large area of land so that for urban areas it is noteasy to get the required land. One of solution to this problem is to use the roof of the parkingbuilding as a rooftop solar power plant, the energy produced by the rooftop solar power plantcan be exported to the network because generally the energy demand for parking buildings isnot much. This paper discusses PLTS on the roof of parking buildings that have been built allover the world. The results of a review were obtained as many as 40 PLTS on the roof of theparking building which were built from 2010 to 2022 with a total capacity of 207,49 MW. ThisPLTS parking facility was built in the form of PLTS on the roof of the parking building, carportand parking canopy. Institutions that have built PLTS above their parking facilities includeairports, banks, malls, governments, water companies, recycling companies, pharmaceuticalcompanies, financial companies, car companies, hospitals, schools, stadiums and universities.
