Abstract

The development of information technology has increased the travel and tourism industry. The travel and tourism data are available in many sources such as telephone, social media, sensor system on the internet of things, and others. The application of big data has great potential in the development of the travel and tourism industry. Big data can take advantage of new things in making the right decisions and seeing opportunities in doing better business. This paper provides a survey that discusses big data in the travel and tourism industry. Big data is used to ticket price and demand prediction. In addition, big data is also used to build a tourism plans and recommender system with the personalized and adaptive method. Combination of using the internet of things and big data can help the industry to price their product. The result of this study is some of the implementation of big data in the travel and tourism industry. We conclude that big data can be used to explore new things in making the right decisions, seeing opportunities more observant, and doing business more efficiently

Abstract

Customer perception is important in the company's business sustainability. In today's competitive global market situation, customers are always looking for services that have more value to meet their needs. Innovation becomes important to differentiate service values in customer perceptions. This paper presents several survey papers which state the significant relationship between the innovation of telecommunications companies and their customers' satisfaction and loyalty. The influence factors considered by customers and aggressively affect their satisfaction also explained in previous surveys. Several innovations have also been carried out by various researchers to improve customer perceptions through excellent customer experience when interacting with customer relationship management. This paper also presents the novel method of developing value-added services for telecommunications companies and the development service roadmap that accurately predicts the successful implementation of an innovation into the market. Further research can utilize the above studies to develop services in other aspects of customer experience on telecommunications services.

Abstract

Today’s internet technologies support everything that human do. By using integrated technologies the things that connected to internet can provide data. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the new paradigm in provide the data without human communicated. The IoT system support machine to machine communication that can be used to develop smart services that can generate a lot of data. This exponential data can support a decision making. The decision making system depend on availability and reliability of data. This study focus to how the Internet of Thing support decision making system. With a survey of literature to understand the trends, models and factors of decision making in IoT based on previous research. This survey following step by conduct the research question (RQ), then search and observation the previous research from database journal. Based on reviewing 26 articles, this study conclude that the trends of decision making in IoT are implemented on Manufacturing and Industry, Healthcare, Agriculture and Transportation. Besides that the decision model that can support by IoT used Fog Computing, Fuzzy, Game Theoritic, Clustering Based on Multimodal Data Correlation, etc. Meanwhile the decision making factors that influenced by IoT like Latency, data-driven, security, data reliability and accurate. The integrated of model and point of interest on decision making in IoT should be improved. It will be the opportunities and challenge in IoT to support decision making in future.

Abstract

The Internet of Things is a technology that will become an integral part of human life. At present, its use has begun to be widely applied in various scientific fields such as agriculture, health, industry, etc. so that it has a very good impact. In addition, the development of this device has also reached a point where collaboration with various scientific fields has occurred. However, in addition to the benefits offered by the Internet of Things, there are challenges such as the use of energy in data transfer, memory limitations and so on as well as threats that can arise such as loss of privacy, leakage of data and information, or use to commit crimes in the physical world.
