Abstract

Hand-woven ikat fabrics made in Bali, such as endek, are generally of good quality and are traded at relatively high prices in the market. However, now more and more woven products similar to Balinese endek are made outside Bali and sold at relatively lower market prices than authentic Balinese endek. When people choose non-balinese endec fabrics, it inevitably reduces the income of genuine Balinese endec weavers as the original Balinese artisans quit their jobs. This in turn will affect production, which will continue to decline. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. Research results show that capital, labor force and business period simultaneously have a great impact on the production of endek fabric in Bali. Capital, labor force and duration of business also partially affect the production of endek cloth in Bali. The conclusion of this study is that an increase in capital by Endek Stov entrepreneurs leads to an increase in production. As the labor force increases, so does the resulting output. This is consistent with the Cobb-Douglas theory that capital and labor affect output. Bringing in more capital will increase production, sell more products, and ultimately increase your income. keyword: lorem Capital, Employ, Duration of the Business, Production Endek Fabric

Abstract

The Denpasar City Government's great support for MSMEs is one of them provided through the Denpasar City Cooperatives and MSMEs Office. The support provided is in the form of providing education and training to MSMEs in Denpasar City. One of the developing Micro Small Medium Enterprises is the Coffee Shop. The aims of this research are to analyze the difference in Coffee Shop income before and after attending education and training (Training) by the Cooperative and MSME Office of Denpasar City, and to find out the perceptions of Coffee Shop business owners towards the provision of education and training (training) by the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs in Denpasar City. The study employed a saturated sampling technique with a sample size of 35 respondents due to the small population size. Data were collected through observations, structured interviews, and in-depth interviews. The data analysis involved the utilization of a comparative test. The findings of the research indicated a notable disparity in the revenue of coffee shops prior to and following their participation in the education and training initiative. This is in line with the purpose of providing education and training, which aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of business owners in managing their coffee businesses. By improving their skills, business owners can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, leading to increased productivity and income. keyword: Education and Training, MSMEs, Coffee Shop, Income

Abstract

Adjustments to levy rates for land use carried out in Tahura Ngurah Rai Area are carried out to obtain tariffs that are in accordance with current conditions. The levy rate is determined by calculating the economic value generated by the Mangrove Forest in Tahura Ngurah Rai area. Assessment of nature using monetary units will show the economic value of the environment so that policy makers can make the right decision between preserving nature or advancing the economy. The purpose of this study was to identify the functions and benefits of Tahura Ngurah Rai mangrove forest and calculate the total economic value of Tahura Ngurah Rai mangrove forest. Tahura Ngurah Rai mangrove forest has three main functions, namely: biological, physical and economic functions. The economic value of the mangrove forest in Tahura Ngurah Rai area obtained using the total economic value method is IDR 72,020,018,026 per year or IDR 52,586,361 per hectare per year. The total economic value is obtained by adding up the direct use values, indirect use values, option value, existence value and inheritance value (bequest value). Abstract

Coconut is a strategically important commodity in the lives of the Balinese people, playing social, cultural, and economic roles. Its benefits extend beyond the flesh of the fruit, which can be processed into coconut milk, copra, and coconut oil. Every part of the coconut plant has significant advantages. In the Dawan Subdistrict of Klungkung Regency, coconut trees are cultivated for sap extraction. The production of brown sugar serves as a processing industry in Klungkung Regency. However, the processing industry sector, as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), experiences fluctuations. The aim of this study was to analyze the combined effects of the number of tapped trees, raw materials, and capital on brown sugar production in Besan Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. This research adopts a quantitative and associative research approach. The study was conducted in Besan Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. The population consisted of all existing brown sugar craftsmen in Besan Village, and a sample of 55 ampel business units was selected as respondents. The analysis technique employed was the Cobb Douglas Production Function analysis. The results indicate that the simultaneous presence of the variables—number of tapped trees, raw materials, and capital—significantly influences brown sugar production. The partial results reveal that the number of tapped trees and raw materials have a positive and significant effect on brown sugar production, whereas capital does not impact brown sugar production. Efficiency analysis shows that the number of tapped trees has reached an efficient level, while raw materials and capital have not yet achieved efficiency. keyword: Production, Brown Sugar, Processing Industry
