Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of agency conflict on dividend policy (Dividend Payout Ratio), dividend policy and growth opportunity on firm value, and analyzing growth opportunity moderate the effect of dividend policy on firm value. The population are 72 manufacturing companies which is listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2012 until 2014. The sample are 24 companies using purposive sampling technique. The analysis method in this study is a simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to examine the effect of moderating variable. Firm value variable is proxied by Price Book Value (PBV), Agency conflict variable is proxied by Total Asset Turnover (TAT), dividend policy variable is proxied by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), and growth opportunity is proxied by the precentage of changes in total assets.The result show that agency conflict has positive significant effect on dividend policy, dividend policy has positive significant effect on firm value, growth opportunity has no significant effect on firm value, and growth opportunity as moderating variable can effect the relationship of dividend policy and firm value.

Abstract

Foreign language skills in present global era becomes an important thing to be mastered. Its becomes background of the rapidly growth of foreign language learning in Indonesia, one of them is Japanese Education Program in Semarang State University (Unnes). Students who are studying Japanese in Japanese Education Program of Unnes had different sufficient knowledge of the Japanese language, either the different interest in Japanese language. Not all of the students in this study program have an interest in Japanese since the beginning of college entrance. However, after through the Japanese learning process, there are students who are experienced of interests changes in Japanese, either the increased interest or decreased interest. Based on the explanation, the research issues are what the kind of interests changes of Unnes Japanese Education Program Students, and what factors are influencing that interests changes. The purpose of this research are to know the interests changes of Unnes Japanese Education Program Students and to know the factors that influencing that interests changes. The research used descriptive quantitative approach. Research collecting data used questionnaire instrument. The questionnaire type is a mix type of open and closed questionnaire. Data were analyzed used descriptive quantitative method. The research result showed 32,5% of interests changes in Japanese of Unnes Japanese Education Program Students. The changes is 12,5% of increased interest and 20% of decreased interest. The factors that influencing the interests changes is dominated by feeling or emotions factor(87%).

Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyze the direct and indirect influence of the destination image, customer value and customer satisfaction on the customer loyalty at the Guci Tour. The sample size consist of 100 respondents with incidental sampling through likert scale questionnaire. Percentage descriptive, multiple linier regression and path analysis were employed to analyze data. Results showed any effect of the image of the destination and the value of customer loyalty through customer satisfaction so that visitors can be said of a relationship mediation in this study. The conclusion of this research are proved that 1) the image of destinations has no direct influence on satisfaction and loyalty of visitors, 2) the image of the destination and visitor satisfaction as mediating indirect effect on the loyalty of visitors, 3) customer value and customer satisfaction as a mediating influence directly and indirectly to the visitor loyalty.
