Abstract

The purpose of  this research is to find out whether there is influence of the characteristics of employment, career development and work stress to organizational commitment. The population in this study were all employees PDAM Tirta Moedal Semarang is 531. The number of samples used in the study is 85 employees. The analysis model is multiple regression using programe SPSS 16.0. The result of this study showed that job characteristic has positive and significant effect to organizational commitment, career develepmont has positive and significant effect to organizational commitment, job stress has negative and  significant effect to organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research examines the market overreaction in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2009 to 2013. The population in this research are all of the companies that list in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample are stocks which are belonging to active stocks, it is determined by purposive sampling method. Market overreaction are measured by abnormal return and indicated with ACAR loser portfolio outperformed of ACAR winner portfolio. The result on quarterly period, semester period, and year period showed that loser portfolio outperformed winner portfolio. Value of the statistic tasting with one sample t test more than 0,05. This research concluded that there are market overreaction in Indonesia Stock Exchange and it’s not happens constantly

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to help investors determine the health of companies listed in DES during 2008-2013 period by using the first model of Altman Z – Score, Z = 1.2 X1 + 1.4 X2 + 3.3 X3 + 0.6 X4 +0.999 X5, and analyze Z - Score influence on stock prices. The stock price was taken on 28th day after the company published financial statements. 36 manufacturing companies were sampled by purposive sampling. Z - Score calculation results showed that there were 2 potentially bankrupt companies, 9 companies in grey category, and 25 other companies are healthy. Simple regression analysis results showed that the value of the Z - Score does not affect the stock price. However, the result of the simultaneous multiple regression analysis on financial ratios of the Z - Score affects the  stock prices, partially showed the ratio of WC/TA and S/TA negatively affect the stock price; ratio EBIT/TA have a positive effect on stock prices; ratio of RE/TA and MVE/BVD has no effect on stock prices. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu investor mengetahui tingkat kesehatan perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar dalam DES periode 2008-2013 dengan menggunakan model Altman Z-Score pertama yaitu Z = 1,2X1 + 1,4X2 + 3,3X3 + 0,6X4 +0,999X5 dan menganalisis pengaruh Z-Score terhadap harga saham. Harga saham diambil hari ke-28 setelah laporan keuangan perusahaan dipublikasikan. 36 perusahaan manufaktur diambil sebagai sampel berdasarkan purposive sampling. Hasil penghitungan Z-Score menunjukkan terdapat 2 perusahaan berpotensi bangkrut, 9 perusahaan masuk kategori grey/ rawan, dan 25 perusahaan lainnya sehat. Hasil analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan nilai Z-Score tidak berpengaruh terhadap harga saham. Namun, hasil analisis regresi berganda secara simultan rasio keuangan pembentuk Z-Score berpengaruh terhadap harga saham, secara parsial menunjukkan rasio WC/TA dan S/TA berpengaruh negatif terhadap harga saham; rasio EBIT/TA berpengaruh positif terhadap harga saham; rasio RE/TA dan MVE/BVD tidak berpengaruh terhadap harga saham. Abstract

The aim of this study is to constructing optimal portfolio from LQ45 stocks and Jakarta Islamic Index stock in 2013-2015 as well as calculating the portfolio’s return, risk and it’s performance. Sample of this study are 29 listed companies from LQ45 and 19 listed companies from JII selected by purposive sampling method. This study applying Sharpe’s single index model to constructing an optimal portfolio and Jensen’s Index to measure the portfolio performance. The result of calculations using Sharpe’s single index model that includes the LQ45 optimal portfolio with the proportion of funds that of UNVR as 52.15%, AKRA as 28.77% and ICBP as 19.06%. The LQ45 portfolio has return as 1.77% along with risk as 2.73% with performance as 0.0147709. The portfolio formed from JII along with the proportion of funds is UNVR as 50.80%, AKRA as 27.63%, ICBP as 18.31%, WIKA as 3.97%. The JII portfolio has return as 1.77%, risk as 2.93% with performance 0.0150893. The conclusions of this study is to diversify with a single index model proved to be more favorable and unfavorable views of portfofolio performance compared to the performance of IHSG. Suggestion related to this study is conventional investor may pick LQ45 portfolio and Islamic investor may select JII portfolio as their investment policy.

Abstract

The  research  is  to  analyze  the  influence  of  leadership  transformational,  motivation  and  discipline  on  the employees work performance. Sample in this research totaled 54 employees. Sampling techniques using nonprobability sampling and the sampling technique is saturated so the entire population used samples. Variable this  research consisting of leadership transformational, motivation, discipline and performance. Data collection methods used were questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis of the percentage, multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination with SPSS 21. The results showed transformational leadership, motivation and discipline work simultaneously affect the performance of the employee. This research is expected to enter for the KSU Prima Mandiri Pati to improve the  performance of employees by means of a leaders capable of being wise in any decision making so that more employees are disinclined toward its leader. Besides  leader  is  considered  necessary  to  pay  close  attention  to  more  of  its  empolyees  by  conducting communication to an employee on the outside working hours. Supervision against the employee at the time of the working hours in progress can be minimize errors an employee in worked so as the quality of work that is produced is getting better.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to explain effect of promotion on impuls buying and to explain that woman is more often in doing impuls buying compare to the man. The sampling process was using incidental sampling technique with number of respondents were 100 respondents. Methods of data collection used were observation method, interview method, questionnaire method, and documentation method. Methods of data analysis that had been used were multiple linear regression analysis with dummy variables using SPSS 16.0. The Results of the study show that promotion is directly effect on impuls buying and not proven that woman is more often than man in doing impuls buying. The Conclusions is proven that promotion was directly effect on impuls buying and it is not proven that woman is more often in doing impuls buying compare to man. Suggestions for the company are to increase more interesting promotions and to add more fashion products for man and woman.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis deskriptif penyebab terjadinya kredit bermasalah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh debitur yang mengalami pengembalian bermasalah dan petugas kredit. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu dengan angket dan observasi. Variabel penelitian ini adalah Kredi bermasalah. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif presentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sebanyak 50% debitur tujuan awal pinjaman digunakan untuk modal usaha dengan 20% debitur tidak menggunakan pinjaman sesuai tujuan awal. 66% debitur menganggap bahwa bunga yang dibayarkan belum sesuai dengan kemampuan membayar. 41% debitur memiliki total pinjaman sebanyak Rp 17.600.001,- sampai Rp 25.200.000,- dengan 47% debitur memiliki masa pengembalian selama 24 bulan. Total penghasilan 73% debitur sebesar Rp 2.900.000,- sampai Rp 13.420.000,- dengan total pengeluaran 75% debitur sebanyak Rp 2.000.000,- sampai Rp 11.855.000,-. Strategi pemberian pinjaman yang dilakukan memiliki persentase sebesar 90% dengan kriteria sangat baik. informasi tentang debitur memiliki presentase sebanyak 77% dengan kriteria baik. interverensi dari debitur, atasan dan pemilik memiliki prosenase sebanyak 34% dengan kriteria baik. Dan persaingan antar BPR atau lembaga pembiayaan lain memiliki persentase sebanyak 93% dengan kriteria sangat baik.The purpose of this study is to determine the cause of the descriptive analysis of the credit crunch. The population in this study are all troubled borrowers experiencing repayment and loan officers. The study sample is take with the cluster random sampling technique. Methods of collecting data with questionnaires and observation. The variables of this study is non performing loans. Analysis use in this study is a descriptive analysis of the percentage. Based on the results of the study, as many as 50% of the debtors original purpose is used for working capital loans with 20% loan debtors do not use the appropriate initial goal. 66% consider that the debtor has not paid interest in accordance with ability to pay. 41% of borrowers had a total loan of Rp 17,600,001, - to Rp 25,200,000, - with 47% of borrowers have a repayment period of 24 months. 73% of the debtors total income of Rp 2.900.000, - to Rp 13,420,000, - with 75% of the debtors total spending of Rp 2.000.000, - to Rp 11,855,000, -. Lending strategy that do have a percentage of 90% with the criteria very well. information about the debtor has a percentage of 77% with the criteria as well. interverensi of debtors, employers and owners have prosenase as much as 34% by both criteria. And competition among RBs or other financial institutions have a percentage of 93% with the criteria very well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction, organizational culture, and job involvement on organizational citizenship behavior on the employees of PT Mazuvo Indo Semarang. The population in this study was all employees of PT Mazuvo Indo Semarang amounting to 51 respondents. The sampling technique in this study using the technique of non-probability sampling with this type of sampling saturated, namely the determination of the sample if all members of the population used as a sample. The analysis method used in the study are instruments test (validity and reliability test), the classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing through partial test and simultaneous test with SPSS for Windows vertion 21. Data were collected by using interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The results from this study showed that the partial job satisfaction positive influence on OCB. There is a positive influence organizational culture on OCB and there is a positive influence job involvement on OCB. The conclusions of this study are job satisfaction, organizational culture, and job involvement influence on OCB.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of job insecurity, organizational commitment, and organizational trust on turnover intentions. The samples that were used in this study were 104 employees obtained by using the Slovin’s formula. The data were collected by using questionnaire method. The data analysis usespercentage descriptive analysis, and partial regression analysis uses SPSS for Windows version 16. The results of this study show that job insecurity influences turnover intentionspositively and significantly, while the organizational commitment and organizational trust influencenegatively and significantly. The study concluded that the higher job insecurity is, the higher turnover intentionswill be, and the higher commitment and organizational trust are, the lower turnover intentions will be. The suggestions from this study are to minimize job insecurity and turnover intentions and to increase the commitment and organizational trust, such as bythe availability of employee briefing-and-sharing with the leader, giving punishments if the employee resigns before the specified time period and giving rewards for employees with achievements.
