Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran tokoh masyarakat dalam pengambilan keputusan pembangunan dan untuk mengetahui proses pengambilan keputusan pembangunan di Desa Banjurpasar, Kecamatan Buluspesantren, Kebumen. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi yang didukung dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh dengan triangulasi. Untuk mendapatkan validitas data dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Dalam penelitian ini analisis yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif analisis yang dilakukan dengan  tahap (1) pengumpulan data, (2) reduksi data, (3) penyajian data, dan (4) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketua RT dan ketua RW telah melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya dengan baik dan dalam pengambilan keputusan desa dilakukan dengan cara musyawarah mufakat. Peran ketua RT dan ketua RW dalam pengambilan keputusan pembangunan adalah menampung dan menanggapi semua pendapat atau usulan yang masuk dari masyarakat yang kemudian dibahas dalam rapat RT/RW untuk menentukan pendapat atau usulan apa yang akan disampaikan dalam rembug desa.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peran birokrasi dalam komunikasi dengan warga melalui BBM-an, keefektifan birokrasi dalam berkomunikasi dengan warga melalui BBM-an, dan tanggapan masyarakat mengenai BBM-an sebagai media komunikasi antara birokrasi dengan warga di Kabupaten Batang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Batang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan keabsahan data dengan metode triangulasi sumber. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaksi data kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran birokrasi dalam komunikasi dengan warga melalui BBM-an adalah birokrasi menyampaikan informasi berupa kebijakan/rencana pembangunan. Komunikasi melalui BBM-an tidak efektif karena penyelesaiannya dikembalikan kepada birokrasi yang proses penyelesaiannya lama, cenderung kabur karena tidak ada sosialiasasi mengenai keputusan dari suatu masukan warga. Tanggapan masyarakat mengenai BBM-an berupa tanggapan positif, yakni mendukung adanya BBM-an dan negatif yakni, menganggap bahwa BBM-an adalah settingan dari Bupati. Saran yang diajukan peneliti (1) Bupati hendaknya setiap masukan dari masyarakat ditanggapi, (2) birokrasi sebaiknya mengembalikan tanggapan kepada masyarakat, dan (3) masyarakat lebih kritis lagi dalam memberikan masukan kepada pemerintah yang disertai data-data yang akurat.The purpose of this research is purpose is to know the role of bureaucracy in communication with residents through BBM-an, effectiveness of bureaucracy in communication with residents through BBM-an, and responses society about BBM-an as a medium of communication between bureaucracy with residents in district stem in Batang. This research using methods research qualitative. The research in local government district stem in Batang. Data use observation, interview and documentation, while the validity of data by method triangulation source. Analysis of data using analysis interaction data qualitative. Based on the result showed that the role of bureaucracy in communication with residents through BBM-an is bureaucracy conveying information policy in form of/development plan. Communication via BBM-an ineffective because its completion returned to bureaucratic processes its completion long, tending to dim because no the socialization regarding decision of a citizen input. Response society about BBM-an form of positive response, namely support the BBM-an and negative are assumed that BBM-an is settingan of regent. Advice proposed researcher (1) any regent should peoples ideas addressed, (2) bureaucracy should restore response to the public, and (3) the people more critical longer in providing input to the government accompanied data accurate.

Abstract

The Minister Decree no 16 Year 2007 regulates that every teacher must meet the national standards of academic qualifications and competence of teachers. To realize this vision of Semarang City Department of Education held a Fostering Social Competence Civics Teacher Certification After the background is still low in terms of the attitude of a teacher interact / communicate with people outside the school. Formulation of the problem in this study were 1) how the condition of social competence post Civics teacher certification in the city of Semarang and 2) how the development of social competence post Civics teacher certification in the city of Semarang. The results suggest that social competence post Civics teacher certification in the city of Semarang as a whole has been good (82% post-certified Civics teachers have mastered the social competence and 18% post-certification Civics teachers have not mastered the social competence). Coaching to improve the quality of social competence of post certified civics teacher are through short-term training programs such as workshops, and seminars, and long-term program such as teaching clinic and MGMP (Subject Teacher Council). Programs still planned are PKG (Teacher performance Appraisal) and PKB (professionalism Sustainable development).

Abstract

The cultivation of moral values performed in the family fishermen is a form of informal education. The purpose of this study was to explore the implementation of the moral values cultivation in children in a family of fishermen, who were most responsible, what are the factors that affect and what are the barriers experienced in the cultivation of moral values in children in a family of fishermen. This study used a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that: 1) cultivation of moral values in children in a family of fishermen in Tanjungsari Sugihwaras Pemalang Pemalang has been good enough. 2) Parties involved in cultivation of moral values in children in a family of fishermen are all members of a family of fishermen and fishing families from the nearest person. 3) Factors that affect the cultivation of moral values in children in a family of fishermen are environmental factors because the social environment will greatly affect children’s behavior. 4) Barriers to the cultivation of moral values in Tanjungsari is the low motivation from within the child’s own fishermen, besides other obstacles in the cultivation of moral values such as the rapid transfer of global knowledge, globalization and the development of sophisticated technology.

Abstract

Kota Tegal merupakan salah satu daerah pesisir di Jawa Tengah yang mempunyai potensi perikanan laut yang baik, namun dari potensi kekayaan alam tersebut belum dapat mensejahterakan masyarakatnya yang berprofesi sebagai nelayan. Mayoritas nelayan Kota Tegal bermukim di Kelurahan Muarareja Kecamatan Tegal Barat. Nelayan di Kelurahan Muarareja mayoritas nelayan kecil, permasalahan yang dihadapi nelayan di sana adalah kurangnya permodalan, minimnya fasilitas perikanan dan pemasaran hasil tangkapan. Penelitian ini mengkaji (1) peranan KUD Karya Mina dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota dan nelayan pada umumnya; (2) hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi KUD Karya Mina dan; (3) upaya yang dilakukan KUD Karya Mina dalam mengatasi hambatan-hambatan tersebut. Subjek yang diteliti adalah pengurus, anggota KUD Karya Mina dan nelayan bukan anggota. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) observasi; (2) dokumentasi; dan (3) wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Digunakan teknik pemeriksaan lapangan dengan triangulasi untuk membuktikan keabsahan data. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peranan KUD Karya Mina antara lain memberikan pinjaman modal bagi nelayan yang membutuhkan, pengadaan solar bersubsidi bagi nelayan, menyediakan fasilitas-fasilitas perikanan serta kegiatan dibidang sosial. Hambatan yang dihadapi KUD antara lain tingkat partisipasi anggota yang rendah, kredit macet, pengetahuan pengurus, pengawas dan manajer KUD yang masih rendah mengenai peraturan-peraturan dan hambatan yang muncul dari luar KUD seperti kompetitor. Upaya yang dilakukan KUD Karya Mina dalam mengatasi hambatan-hambatan tersebut melalui pembentukan kelompok-kelompok nelayan, mengerahkan karyawan untuk menagih kredit macet, mengikutkan pengurus, pengawas dan manajer dalam pelatihan, pendidikan dan sosialisasi serta bekerjasama dengan pemerintah dan pihak ketiga.Tegal is one of the coastal areas in Central Java, which has a good potential for marine fisheries, however of the potential of these resources have not been able to prosper the people who work as fishermen. The majority of fishermen in Tegal living on Muarareja Tegal Barat Subdistrict. themajorityoffishermenonMuarareja is a poor fishermen, the problems faced by fishermen there is a lack of capital, facilities and marketing of fisheries catches. This research examines (1) the role of KUD Karya Mina in improving the welfare of members and fishermen in general, (2) the obstacles faced by KUD Karya Mina and, (3) the efforts made KUD Karya Mina in overcoming these obstacles. The subjects studied were administrators, members of KUD Karya Mina and fishermen are not members. Data collection methods used in this research are (1) observation, (2) documentation, and (3) interviews. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Triangulation techniques is used with field investigation to prove the validity of the data. The results obtained in this research indicate that the role of KUD Karya Mina include providing capital loans for fishermen, provision of subsidized diesel fuel for fishermen, provide fishing facilities and social activities. The obstacles faced by cooperatives among others, members of the low participation rate, non-performing loan, knowledge KUD management, supervisors and managers are still low the rules and constraints that arise from outside the cooperatives as competitors. The efforts are made by KUD Karya Mina in overcoming these obstacles through the establishment of fishermen groups, mobilizing employees to collect non-performing loan, to register administrators, supervisors and managers in training, education, socialization and working with governments and private sector.

Abstract

Social interaction occurs when one individual does an action; thus, it creates reaction to other individuals. Social interaction is not only a form of cooperation, but it is also competition and conflict. Consequently, it can be stated that the interaction is the basis of a form of social interaction because if there is no social interaction, the activity of individual between another individual is not called as interaction. This activity becomes a basis that creates social interaction of inhabitants at Perumahan Alam Sejahtera Dedy Jaya. The purpose of this research are: 1) To determine social interaction of inhabitants at Perumahan Alam Sejahtera Dedy Jaya, Pasarbatang Village, Brebes Regency. 2) To determine the obstruction of social interaction of inhabitants at Perumahan Alam Sejahtera Dedy Jaya, Pasarbatang Village, Brebes Regency. This research used a qualitative approach. It was conducted at Perumahan Alam Sejahtera Dedy Jaya, Pasarbatang Village, Brebes Regency. The source of research data was taken from the board office of housing, the chairman of RW, the chairman of RT, the prominent figure of the society and the inhabitants. The focus of this research was the social interaction that could be seen from the forms of social interaction in carrying out such activities, RT meeting, Pos Ronda, mutual cooperation etc. The methods of data collection used observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the research that explained about social interaction at Perumahan Alam Sejahtera Dedy Jaya, basically they were formed because of the result of social activity among inhabitants. After the writer searched and observed deeply, the results of the research showed that the social interaction that occurs between inhabitants was through some forms of social interactions and they were classified in the process of cooperation, competition, accommodation, and conflict. The implementation in the field of social interaction that occurred between people was very good and the course of activity also happened very well; as a result, the activities at Perumahan Alam Sejahtera Dedy Jaya were accordance with the expectation from society, i.e. there was social interactions that maintain the relationship among inhabitants.

Abstract

Penanaman kedisiplinan di sekolah ditujukan agar semua individu yang berada di dalamnya bersedia dengan suka rela mematuhi dan mentaati segala peraturan dan tata tertib yang berlaku tanpa paksaan. Apabila setiap siswa dapat mengendalikan diri dan mematuhi semua norma-norma yang berlaku maka hal itu dapat menciptakan lingkungan dan pengalaman yang positif pada siswa, agar proses pertumbuhan fisik, emosional, intelektual dan sosialnya dapat berlangsung dengan baik, sehingga menjadi manusia yang dewasa sesuai dengan umur, status dan lingkungan sekitar. Kesadaran untuk menanamkan kedisiplinan siswa dapat ditumbuhkan dengan kegiatan-kegiatan yang positif melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sekolah salah satunya kegiatan kepramukaan. Kegiatan kepramukaan dapat membiasakan siswa untuk bertindak disiplin melalui kegiatan yang diadakan.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan wadah yang tepat untuk mengembangkan pendidikan kewirausahaan. Salah satu SMK yang menerapkan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan adalah SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. SMK Negeri 1 Kudus memiliki tempat khusus pusat pendidikan kewirausahaan yang dinamakan Business Center. Kepercayaan dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak mendorong berdirinya Business Center SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan, pembinaan etos kewirausahaan, hasil pembinaan, dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat pelaksanaan kegiatan Business Center siswa SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru kewirausahaan, pengurus Business Center dan siswa SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wujud dari pelaksanaan kegiatan Business Centre SMK Negeri 1 Kudus yaitu adanya kepengurusan, visi misi, program kegiatan, lokasi usaha, dan pembinaan etos kewirausahaan terhadap siswa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Business Center SMK Negeri 1 Kudus diselenggarakan oleh pengurus Business Center. Pembinaan etos kewirausahaan dilaksanakan oleh pengurus Business Center melalui program piket harian Esemka Mart dan program paket jual. Pengurus Business Center melibatkan siswa SMK Negeri 1 Kudus secara langsung di lapangan, untuk melatih sikap kemandirian, kedisiplinan, komunikatif, tanggung jawab, berani berwirausaha, kreatif, dan semangat menjadi pengusaha yang sukses. Indikator peningkatan etos kewirausahaan terlihat melalui siswa yang sudah memiliki usaha mandiri, sikap siswa dalam melaksanakan kegiatan Business Center yaitu paket jual, piket harian, dan hasil praktik siswa.Vocational schools are proper institution to develop entrepreneurship education. One of the schools which implements entrepreneurship education is SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. SMK Negeri 1 Kudus owns a special area as the center of entrepreneurship education called as Business Center. Trust and support from many parties encouraged the founding of Business Center of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. The purpose of this final project is to find out how the activities were carried out, the entrepreneurship ethos development, the results of the development, and supproting and demotivating factors of the Business Center activities of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus students. This observation used qualitative approach. The sources of the data were vice headmaster from curriculum sector, entrepreneurship teacher, the committee of Business Center and the students of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. The data collection used observation, interview, and documentation methods. The validity test used triangulation method. The results showed that the realizations of Business Center activities implementation in SMK Negeri 1 Kudus were the presence of committee, vision and mission, activity program, work area, the entrepreneurship ethos development for the students. The implementation of Business Center of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus was carried out by the committee of the Business Center. The entrepreneurship ethos development was done also by the committee through Esemka Mart daily shift program and selling package program. The Business Center committee included the students of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus directly in the field, in order to train many attitudes such as self-employment, discipline, communicative, responsibility, entrepreneurship, creative, and the siprit of being a successful enterpreneur. The indicators of the improvement of entrepreneurship ethos could be seen through the students who had independent business, the students’ attitude in running the Business Center’s activities which were selling package, daily shift, and the students’ practice results.

Abstract

Perkawinan endogami yang terjadi di Desa Sidigede merupakan salah satu budaya masyarakat yang masih tetap dipertahankan. Walaupun dalam kenyataannya banyak yang telah meninggalkan sistem perkawinan endogami karena melihat perkawinan tersebut lebih banyak dampak negatifnya, akan tetapi sebagian masyarakat Sidigede masih ada yang mempertahankannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang melatar belakangi perkawinan endogami dan dampak yang ditimbulkan dari perkawinan endogami tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang dapat diamati. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang melatarbelakangi masyarakat tetap mempertahankan perkawinan endogami diantaranya: orientasi spasial (kewilayahan), kemurnian keturunan, menjaga harta, dan perjodohan. Dalam pelaksanaannya perkawinan endogami memiliki dampak terutama bagi pelaku endogami itu sendiri antara lain: mempererat tali persaudaraan, meretaknya hubungan kekerabatan, dan dampak kecacatan fisik/mental pada keturunan.

Abstract

Education Ministry data reveals that in 2007 only 17.25% of high school students who can continue to pursue higher education either S1 or diploma This means there are 82.75%, or equivalent high school-age children are not able to pursue a higher education. Data from BPS reveals that the majority of open unemployment is high school graduate or equivalent (15.2%). The magnitude of the unemployment rate of high school graduates is one factor they are unprepared to enter the workforce. Therefore, it is necessary to learning that leads to the formation of student life skill. The results showed that SMAN Pati has implemented life skill based learning and the students has applied those skills in in everyday life.
