Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________________________ Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa menurun di akhir semester. Selain itu, tidak semua hasil belajar biologi mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran picture and picture dengan strategi inkuiri terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi protista. Metode yang digunakan pre-experimental dengan one shot case study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Matematika dan Ilmu Alam (MIA) SMAN 1 Kutowinangun. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan insidental sampling berdasarkan pertimbangan kelas diajar guru yang sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa pada kriteria sedang, tinggi dan sangat tinggi. Hasil belajar afektif menunjukkan peningkatan 4 sikap yang berada pada kriteria baik dan sangat baik. Hasil belajar psikomotorik menunjukkan 3 aspek yang dinilai pada kriteria baik dan sangat baik. Hasil belajar kognitif menunjukkan bahwa 77,8% siswa tuntas KKM. Dalam hal ini, nilai LDS lebih dominan menentukan nilai akhir dibandingkan nilai posttest. Hasil analisis tanggapan menujukkan siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan yang baik dan tertarik terhadap penerapan model picture and picture dengan strategi inkuiri. Penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture dengan strategi inkuiri efektif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi protista.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Observations show that the students motivation to decline at the end of the semester. Moreover, not all of learning outcomes in biology achieve minimum score. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the learning model "picture and picture" with the strategy of inquiry on motivation and learning outcomes of students in the protists material. The method used pre-experimental with one shot case study. The study population was all students of class X Matematika dan Ilmu Alam SMAN 1 Kutowinangun. The research sample was determined by incidental sampling based on the consideration that the classes taught by the same teacher. The results showed that students motivation on medium, high and very high criteria. Affective learning outcomes showed an increase in four attitude in the good and very good criteria. Psychomotor learning outcomes showed three aspects are assessed on the good and very good criteria. Cognitive learning results showed that 77,8% of students completed the KKM. In this case, LDS score is more dominant to determine the final score than posttest score. The results of the responses analysis showed that the students and teachers have responded well and interested in the application of the model picture and picture with the strategy of inquiry. Application of learning models picture and picture with an effective inquiry strategies to motivation and student learning outcomes in protists material..

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan penting bagi manusia. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh usaha meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa melakukan kegiatan mencatat untuk dapat mengatasi keterbatasan dalam mengingat materi pembelajaran. Strategi mencatat kreatif mind mapping ditawarkan untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas mencatat siswa dan mengefisienkan waktu pembelajaran pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode mencatat kreatif mind mapping terhadap daya ingat siswa SMP Islam Cepu pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-experimen dengan desain yang digunakan adalah one shoot case study. Sampel diambil dengan teknik sampling sensus sehingga diperoleh sampel keseluruhan siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Cepu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata – rata hasil belajar siswa di atas kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM = 70) yaitu 76,7. Kinerja guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar tergolong baik. Siswa memberikan tanggapan positif > 70% dan guru memberi tanggapan positif terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi mencatat mind mapping pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi mencatat kreatif mind mapping pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup efektif dalam peningkatan daya ingat siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Cepu. Education is an important requirement for humans. Improving the quality of education is strongly influenced by improving the quality of learning. In the learning process, students do noted activities to be able to overcome the limitations in remembering the materials. Creative mind mapping strategy notes are offered to improve the quality of student recording and also streamline time learning the materials diversity of living organisms. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of mind map method for the student memory. This is a pre-experimental research with one shoot case design. The sample that used in this research was students of seventh grade in SMP Islam Cepu. The result showed that average of student learning outcome was above the minimum completeness criteria (KKM=70) that is 76,7. Performance of teachers in learning activities was fair. Student give positive response more than 70% and teachers gave positive response about learning by using mind mapping notes strategy on material diversity of living organisms. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that using creative mind mapping notes strategy on the material learning diversity of living organisms was effective to increase memories of seventh grade students of SMP Islam Cepu.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ LKS kelas X yang ada di SMAN 3 Pekalongan belum mampu mengoptimalkan potensi siswa dan lingkungan sekitar untuk proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan arahan kurikulum 2013. Penelitian pengembangan LKS tematik integratif materi lingkungan kelas X SMA ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan LKS yang ada di SMAN 3 Pekalongan, menilai kelayakan LKS tematik integratif yang dikembangkan, dan menguji efektivitas penggunaan LKS untuk pembelajaran.Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas validasi LKS dari 3 validator, keefektifan LKS untuk pembelajaran, serta lembar tanggapan guru dan siswa. Pengujian LKS dilakukan di kelas X Mipa 3 dan X Mipa 4 SMAN 3 Pekalongan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 dengan jumlah sebanyak 62 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKS tematik integratif materi lingkungan kelas X dinilai layak oleh validator dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 83,75%. LKS juga efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran biologi materi lingkungan yang diintegrasikan dengan mata pelajaran kimia, geografi dan ekonomi sesuai dengan tema-tema yang ada. Guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat memuaskan atas penggunaan LKS tematik integratif dalam proses pembelajaran tematik.Simpulan penelitian menyatakan bahwa LKS tematik integratif materi lingkungan kelas X SMA layak dan efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran. . Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The student worksheet class X in State Senior High School 3 Pekalongan not be able optimal yet the student potential and around environment to learning process accordance with 2013 curriculum direction. Development research of integrated thematic student worksheet in environmental material at class X Senior High School is intended to describe the use of student worksheetin State Senior High School 3 Pekalongan, assess the feasibility of an integrated thematic worksheet that is developed, and test the effectiveness of worksheets for learning. The instruments are consisted of a student worksheet validation from 3 validators, student worksheet effectiveness for learning, sheet of teacher and students’s response. Student worksheet testing in class X Mipa 3 and X Mipa 4 in the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014 with a total of 62 students. The results of this research showedthat integrated thematic student worksheet in enviromental material class X is considered feasible by the validator with an average percentage of 83.75 %. Student worksheet is also effective for learning of biological material that integrates with chemistry, geography and economics in accordance with the existing themes. Teacher and students gave a very satisfactory response on the use of integrated thematic student worksheet in the thematic learning process. The research conclusion show that integrated thematic student worksheet in enviromental material for class X Senior High School is suitable and effective in learning.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran koperatif tipe Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem ekskresi. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik mendapatkan pengalaman baru dalam hal belajar yang membuatnya aktif dan bekerjasama baik dengan kelompoknya serta meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran biologi. Posttest-Only Control Design. Subyek yang diteliti yaitu peserta didik dengan variabel penelitian model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing untuk kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi sikap, keterampilan, kinerja guru, soal evaluasi akhir, lembar angket tanggapan peserta didik dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pengetahuan kelas eksperimen 3,09 sedangkan kelas kontrol 2,91. Berdasarkan hasil uji t pada hasil belajar pengetahuan kedua kelas diperoleh lower bernilai positif dan upper bernilai positif atau Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,010 <ɑ = 0,05 maka Ho ditolak atau H1 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar (aspek pengetahuan) yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The problem in this research is how the influence of cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing the learning outcomes of students in the material excretory system. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the type of cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing the learning outcomes of students in the material excretory system. The benefits to be gained from this research is the students gain new experience in terms of learning which make it active and engaged with the group as well as improving learning outcomes in learning biology. The methodology used in the study of the model Posttest-Only Control Design. The object under study is learners with learning model cooperative research variables of type Snowball Throwing for the experimental class. The research instrument used is the observation sheet attitudes, skills, teacher performance, evaluation test, sheet questionnaire responses of learners and teachers. The results showed that the experimental class knowledge learning outcomes 3.09 and 2.91 while the control class. Based on the results of the t test on the learning outcomes of both classroom knowledge obtained lower and upper positive value is positive or Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,010 <ɑ = 0.05 then Ho is rejected or accepted H1, so the conclusion is that there are differences in learning outcomes (knowledge aspects) significant between the experimental class and the control class

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi Experimental Design dengan menggunakan pola non randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIII C (kelas kontrol). Data keterlaksanaan model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram diperoleh melalui angket tanggapan yang diisi oleh siswa. Data hasil belajar dalam ranah kognitif siswa dikumpulkan dari tes materi sistem pencernaan, ranah psikomotorik dan ranah afektif diperoleh melalui lembar observasi. Data motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh melalui angket skala psikologi siswa. Hasil uji hipotesis pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh nilai χ2= 32,00 dengan p < 0,05 (p = 0,010) dan pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap hasil belajar siswa diperoleh χ2= 20,67 dengan p < 0,05 (p = 0,014). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar.   This research aimed to examine the effect of guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram on students’s motivation and learning achievement on the subject of digestive system. This research was Quasi Experimental Design. The design of this research was non randomized control group pretest posttest. The population in this research was all students, VIII grade class at SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa, VIII B grade class was treated as experimental class and VIII C as control class. Questionare was used to collect data of  the implementation level guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram. Test was used to collect data of students learning achivement on cognitive, psychomotoric domains while affective domains were  collected by observation. Psychology scale was used to collect data of students motivation. The hypothesis result of the influence of guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram toward upon students learning motivation was χ2= 32,00 with p < 0,05 (p = 0,010) and the influence guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram toward students learning achievement was χ2= 20,67 with p < 0,05 (p = 0,014). The model guided inquiry with fishbone diagram toward had significant effect upon students’ learning motivation and achievement.
