Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keefektifan penerapan metode permainan happy kingdom pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pra-experimental dengan desain one-shot case study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs NU Ungaran tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan sampel siswa kelas VII D dan VII E yang diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap persiapan (observasi, penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen tes) dan pelaksanaan (pembelajaran, penilaian dan evaluasi). Data aktivitas siswa diambil melalui observasi, data hasil belajar melalui metode tes, sedangkan tanggapan siswa dan guru diambil melalui angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase keaktifan siswa sebesar 75,51% dengan ketuntasan siswa mencapai 82,43%, menandakan bahwa penelitian ini efektif karena >80% siswa memperoleh nilai ≥ KKM 70. Persentase tanggapan guru sebesar 86% (dikategorikan sangat baik) dan sebanyak 85% siswa menyatakan setuju terhadap metode permainan happy kingdom menandakan bahwa siswa sangat tertarik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode permainan happy kingdom efektif diterapkan pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup kelas VII terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. This study aims to determine the effectiveness application of happy kingdom game method in grade VII diversity of living things learning. The research method of pre-experimental design is one-shot case study. The population in this study were all students of grade VII MTs NU Ungaran year 2014/2015, and sample students of class VII D and VII E were taken using cluster random sampling technique. Research procedure includes preparation phase (observation, preparation of learning tools and test instruments) and implementation phase (learning, assessment and evaluation). Data retrieved through observation of student activity, learning outcomes data through test method, while students and teachers responses were taken through a questionnaire. Results of study include the percentage of student activity amounted to 75.51%, and the completeness of students reached 82.43%, indicating that learning process is effective for> 80% of students received grades KKM ≥ 70. Percentage of 86% teacher responses were categorized as excellent and as much as 85% of students very interested to the game happy method kingdom. The conclusion from this study is application of game happy kingdom method effectively applied to diversity of living things learning at grade VII science classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas pembelajaran reciprocal teaching pada materi Protista untuk membedakan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Godong antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental menggunakan rancangan the posttest only control group. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian meliputi aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan aktivitas dan hasil belajar (pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan) kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Untuk kelas kontrol, rata-rata nilai pengetahuan = 3,29; sikap = 2,98; keterampilan = 3,34. Untuk kelas eksperimen rata-rata nilai pengetahuan = 3,38; sikap = 3,08; dan keterampilan 3,41. Aktivitas siswa kelas kontrol 71,25% siswa dalam kategori aktif sampai sangat aktif sedangkan kelas eksperimen 78,75%. Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan “baik” terhadap model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching yang diterapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pembelajaran model reciprocal teaching materi Protista yang diterapkan “efektif” terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. This research aims to test the effectiveness of reciprocal teaching learning to the matter protist to distinguish activity and study results of class X student SMA N 1 Godong between control class and experimental class. This research is a quasi experimental design was the posttest only control group. The sample in this research is X MIA 2 as a control class and X MIA 1 as experimental classes taken with purposive sampling technique. The research data include student activity and study results of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The results showed that there are differences in activity and study results (knowledge, attitudes, and skills) control class and experimental class. The average results of experimental class higher than the control class. For the control class, the average value of the knowledge = 3.29; attitude = 2.98; skills = 3.34. For the experimental class the average value of the knowledge = 3.38; attitude = 3.08; and skills 3.41. Activity graders control 71,25% of the students in the category of active to very active while the experiment group 78,75%. Students and teachers responded well against the learning model of reciprocal teaching applied. Based on the results of research learning model of reciprocal teaching materials protist are applied effectively against the activity and results of student learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan berbantuan modul daur ulang limbah pada literasi sains siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui pada kelas eksperimen rerata nilai pretest 57.63 rerata nilai posttest 89.56, pada kelas kontrol rerata nilai pretest 57.52 rerata nilai posttest 77.07. Hasil uji perbedaan dua rata-rata nilai posttestmenunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan t hitung 8.515> t tabel 1.67. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji N-Gain peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai 100% sedangkan kelas kontrol 87%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan berbantuan modul daur ulang limbah berpengarauh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan. This research aimed for analysing the influence of project-based learning implementation which supported by waste recycling module toward the students’ scientific literacy skill. The design of this research was uasi Experimental Design. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan with X MIPA 1 as the experiment class and X MIPA 2 as the control class. The sample was taken by Purposive Sampling. Based on the result, it was known that in the experiment class, the average of pre-test was 57.63, while the average of post-test was 89.56. In the control class, the average of pre-test was 57.52, while the average of post-test was 77.07. The result of the average of post-tests showed a significant difference between the students scientific literacy skill of the experimental class and the control class with t count 8.515 > t tabel 1.67. Based on N-Gain test analysis, the raise of the experiment class’s scientific literacy skill reached 100%, while the raise of the control class’s scientific literacy skill reached 87%. The conclusion of this research was the implementation of project-based learning which supported by waste recycling module had a significant influence toward students’ science literacy skill in SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penerapan metode Socratic Circles disertai media gambar pada pembelajaran materi ekosistem terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP Negeri 6 Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasy experimental. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VII C (kelas eksperimen) dan VII E (kelas kontrol). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Convinience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Peningkatan skor tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,41 (sedang) sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 0,22 (rendah). Hasil uji t menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft excel 2010 menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol dengan thitung (4,163) > ttabel (2,658). Berdasarkan analisis per aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol hal ini terlihat dari nilai post-test. Tingkat keterlaksanaan metode Socratic Circles disertai media gambar mencapai 93,74% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Secara umum guru dan siswa juga memberikan tanggapan setuju terhadap pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan metode Socratic Circles disertai media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi ekosistem di SMP Negeri 6 Magelang. Research was conducted to identify the effect of pictorial Socratic Circles method on Ecosystem teaching material upon the student’s critical thinking skills at Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 6 Magelang. This research used a quasy experimental design. Two classes were treated as a control and an experimental class. The samples were by a convenience sampling technique. The result indicated that the student’s critical thinking skills from the experimental class higher than the control class. The critical thinking test scores of the experimental class were increased by 0,41 (medium), whereas the control class was by 0,22 (low). The t-test showed that these figures was significantly different. Analysis showed that the student’s critical thinking skills of the experimental class were much better than one of the control class. The level of implementationpictorial Socratic Circles method was 93,74% (categorized as very good). In general, the teacher and students were also in an agreement about the applied method. The conclusion of this research, that pictorial Socratic Circlesmethod on Ecosystem teaching material was able to improve the students’ critical thinking skills at Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 6 Magelang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil dan mengungkap fakta-fakta penyebab miskonsepsi pada materi sistem regulasi siswa kelas XI SMA Kota Semarang. Studi kasus dilakukan di 6 SMA Kota Semarang yang dipilih untuk mendapatkan data hasil tes identifikasi miskonsepsi materi sistem regulasi dengan metode Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami miskonsepsi materi sistem regulasi dengan kategori sedang (47,51%). Rata-rata siswa SMA kelompok atas, tengah, dan bawah mengalami miskonsepsi yang tinggi pada konsep fungsi sistem saraf, aplikasi sistem indera, dan fungsi sistem hormon. Penyebab miskonsepsi tersebut antara lain strategi pembelajaran guru kurang bermakna bagi siswa, sumber belajar yang kurang valid, dan cara belajar yang cenderung menghafal. This study was aimed to know the profile and explore he root of misconception at regulation system topic of grade XI students in Semarang. Case-study was done on 6 selected High Schools in Semarang to get the misconception test result on regulation systems topic by Certainty of Response Index (CRI) methods. Data was analyzed by qualitative methods. The findings showed that student had misconception at regulation system topic on medium category (47,51%). Students on the top, middle, and below group had misconception on the concept of nervous system function, the application of five senses systems, and the function of hormonal systems. The misconceptions was caused by less meaningful learning, less valid of learning resources, and the method of study which tended to use memorizing.
