Abstract

This study was aimed at developing and determining the effect of the implementation of the entrepreneur-based practicum module on student’s achievement and entrepreneurial interest. This research was Research and Development with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design on X.9(experimental group) and X.10( control group). The subject studied was biodiversity. Sample was collected by a convenience sampling technique. Data were analyzed by t-test and simple linear regression test. The findings showed that the implementation of the entrepreneur-based practicum module were high (score 6). T-test result showed that there was a significant difference between both group (tcount>ttable). Simple linear regression test showed that the implementation of  the entrepreneur-based practicum module brought a significant effect on student’s achievement (probability sig.<0.05; r square 0,769). Simple linear regression test indicated that there was an effect of implementation of the entrepreneur-based practicum module on student’s entrepreneurial interest (probability sig.<0.05; r Square 0,814). Correlation test showed that strong correlation between student’s entrepreneurial interest and achievement about 82,2% (probability sig.<0.05). The conclusion of this research was that the implementation of the entrepreneur-based practicum module had a significant effect on student’s achivement and entrepreneurial interest.. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji pengaruh modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan terhadap hasil belajar dan minat wirausaha siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan pola pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design pada kelas X.9 (kelas eksperimen) dan X.10 (kelas kontrol) pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convenience sampling.Data penelitian berupa pengaruh penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan dengan minat wirausaha siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data dengan uji t dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan tergolong tinggi (skor 6). Hasil uji t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol (thitung>ttabel). Uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap nilai hasil belajar (nilai sig.<0.05; r Square 0,769). Uji regresi linier sederhana mengindikasikan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan dengan minat wirausaha siswa (nilai sig.<0.05; r Square 0,814). Uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara minat wirausaha dan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 82,2% (nilai sig.<0.05). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dan minat wirausaha siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this researchis to develop a scientific comic that is suitable for learning science, and to analyze the effectiveness of scientific comic, increase the motivation and the cognitive learning outcomes of students. The research design was Research and Development. This researchhave been carried out in SMP N 2 Jepara, using convenience sampling technique, and the class VIII G as research subjects. The results showed that the comic developed was valid (media expert assessment was 84.85%, material experts assessment was 96.30%) and effective (classical completeness was 88%, 56% student motivation was good, 44% student motivation was excellent). The scientific comic is suitable and effective to be used in teaching the respiratory system in junior high school. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan komik sains yang  valid, serta menganalisis validitas serta efektivitas komik sains yang dikembangkan terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development.Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP N  2 Jepara, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik convenience sampling dan diperoleh kelas VIIIG sebagai subyek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komik yang dikembangkan valid, berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli media diperoleh nilai mencapai 84,85%, sedangkan ahli materi mencapai 96,30%. Media komik sains efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan hasil belajar kognitif mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 88%, motivasi siswa 56% baik, 44% sangat baik pada pembelajaran materi sistem pernapasan di SMP.

Abstract

Implementation of moving class system was expected to increase the students learning motivation and their learning outcomes. But in fact, many students came late to enter the class or even left the class because a lack of motivation. Moreover, students learning outcomes also has not reached the expected target. This research aimed to determine how much the contribution of moving class system in biology learning on students motivation and their learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Slawi Tegal. This research used quantitative descriptive method and data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results showed that the implementation of moving class system contributed to students learning motivation as much as 5.81% with the regression equation’ Y = 52.727 + 0.279 X. The implementation of moving class system also contributed to students learning outcomes as much as 2.87% with the regression equation’ Y = 76.414 + 0.046 X. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation of moving class system in biology’s learningcontributed positively to the students learning motivation and their learning outcomes at SMA N 1 Slawi. Pelaksanaan sistem moving class diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa. Namun pada kenyataannya banyak siswa yang terlambat masuk kelas atau bahkan membolos karena kurangnya motivasi. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa juga belum mencapai target yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi sistem moving class pada pembelajaran biologi terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa SMA Negeri 1 Slawi Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem moving class memberikan kontribusi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 5,81% dengan persamaan regresi Y= 52,727 + 0,279 X. Pelaksanaan sistem moving class juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 2,87% dengan persamaan regresi Y= 76,414 + 0,046 X. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem moving class pada pembelajaran biologi memberikan kontribusi yang positif terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa SMA N 1 Slawi.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the application method Example Non Example on the activity and student learning outcomes at the Animal Diversity material in SMP N 2 Tengaran. This true experimental research design uses random subject design test design (post-test only control design) with 2-class samples are class VII G as a control class and class VII I as a experiment class. The technique sampling used is a convinence sampling technique. The percentage activity of students in the experimental class and control classes were 91.66% and 60.03%. The percentage of students in the classical mastery in experimental classes and control classes were 75.00% and 18.75%. T-test was used to examine the difference average of the learning outcomes between control class and experimental class. The results of t-test obtained tcount=7,22>ttable=1,67 with α = 5% and df = 66, so the average student learning outcomes in experimental classes are better than the control class. Based on these results can be concluded that the application of methods Example Non Example at the Animal Diversity material effective to increase the activity and student learning outcomes in SMP N 2 Tengaran Semarang regency landmarks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan metode Example Non Example terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Keanekaragaman Hewan di SMP N 2 Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian true experimental design ini menggunakan desain random subject test design (post-test only control design) dengan 2 (dua) kelas sampel yaitu kelas VII G sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII I sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik Convinience Sampling. Persentase aktivitas siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 91,66% dan 60,03%. Persentase ketuntasan siswa secara klasikal pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 75,00% dan 18,75%. Uji-t digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung = 7,22>ttabel = 1,67 dengan α = 5% dan dk=66 sehingga rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Example Non Example efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Keanekaragaman Hewan di SMP N 2 Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang.

Abstract

This research aims to test the feasibility of the character based adventure education game using the digestive system study materials. The method of this research is Research and Development. The research  media was explored by experts and tested in two stages, i.e:  the stage of small-scale testing and large-scale testing. The subjects of small-scale testing are 20 students of eighth grade in SMP N 1 Wonopringgo and the subjects of large-scale testing  are 2 classes in SMP N 21 Semarang. Data for the media feasibility test was collected from media experts and material experts as well as teachers and students. The media effectiveness was interpreted from student learning outcomes. The student character values were ​​obtained from the tests, assignments and questionnaires. Data analysis showed that the media was feasible and the media was categorized as good. None of the teachers and students responded that lesser than “well” criteria. More than 85.45% of students received learning outcomes of above KKM (80). The results of student character analysis showed more than 75% of  students high scores on each character. It was concluded that the media developed is feasible as a learning media in junior high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan multimedia game edukasi berbentuk adventure berbasis pendidikan karakter pada materi sistem pencernaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development. Dalam penelitian ini media yang dikembangkan ditelaah oleh pakar dan diujicobakan melalui 2 tahap, yaitu tahap uji coba skala kecil dan uji coba skala besar. Subjek uji coba skala kecil yaitu 20 siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 1 Wonopringgo dan subjek uji coba skala besar yaitu 2 kelas siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 21 Semarang. Data kelayakan media diperoleh dari pakar media dan materi;  guru dan siswa. Data keefektifan media diperoleh dari hasil belajar siswa. Data nilai karakter siswa diperoleh dari tes, penugasan dan angket. Hasil analisis kelayakan media menunjukan bahwa media layak digunakan ditunjukkan dari, penilaian oleh ahli media dan ahli materi memperoleh kriteria layak. Guru dan 100% siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat baik dan baik. 85,45% siswa memperoleh hasil belajar diatas KKM (80). Lebih dari 75% siswa memiliki skor karakter yang tinggi pada masing-masing karakter. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media game edukasi yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMP.

Abstract

The purpose of researcs was to know a readiness of the biology laboratory at High Schools in Brebes Regency in supporting a practical activity. The method that is used is descriptive qualitative. The object of this research are students of Senior High Schools in Brebes Regency. Sampling technique in the research has been done by stratified random sample technique based of  school achivments status that is RSBI (International  Path of School Standard), SKM (SelfSchool Category) and GeneralStateSchool Category. This research has been done at Biology Laboratories of  SMAN 1 Bulakamba and SMAN 1 Losari as General State School Category, SMAN 1 Tanjung dan SMAN 3 Brebes as International  Path of School Standard (RSBI). Data in the form of qualitative data. Variables were measured included three indicators of facilities, infrastructure and laboratory activities readiness.  The result of the research showed that level of readiness in providing facilities and infrastructure, management readiness of practice implemention and readiness of laboraty activities processing gradually scores for 67,40%, 83,75% and 68,72%. This research’s conclusion is biology laboratories of Senior High Schools in Brebes regency belong to ready category in supporting a practical activity with preparation range is 73,29%.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan laboratorium biologi SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Brebes dalam menunjang kegiatan praktikum. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif, populasi penelitianadalah seluruh SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Brebes. Pengambilan sampel penelitiandilakukan dengan teknik stratified random sample berdasarkan status prestasi sekolah, yaitu RSBI (Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional), SKM (Sekolah Kategori Mandiri) dan Sekolah Negeri kategori biasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada laboratorium biologi SMAN 1 Bulakamba dan SMAN 1 Losari sebagai sekolah negeri kategori biasa, SMAN 1 Tanjung dan SMAN 3 Brebes sebagai sekolah negeri kategori mandiri dan SMAN 2 Brebes sebagai sekolah rintisan bertaraf internasional.Variabel yang diukur meliputi tiga indikator kesiapan, yakni kesiapan sarana dan prasarana, kesiapan pengelolaan penyelenggaraan praktikum dan kesiapan kegiatan laboratorium. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa tingkat kesiapan laboratorium dalam menyediakan sarana dan prasarana, kesiapan pengelolaan penyelenggaraan praktikum dan kesiapan kegiatan laboratorium secara berturut-turut memperoleh skor 67,40%, 83,75% dan 68,72%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah, laboratorium biologi SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Brebes siap dalam menunjang kegiatan praktikum pada pembelajaran biologi dengan rata-rata tingkat kesiapan sebesar 73,29%.
PEMANFAATAN WADUK MALAHAYU SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR MATERI EKOSISTEM DENGAN MODEL SAINS TEKNOLOGI MASYARAKAT

Abstract

This research is aimed to know whether the influence of the Malahayu’s reservoiras learning resources with  learning model of sains technology societyto student activity and learning outcomes on topic of  ecosystems at SMP N 4Banjarharjo. Malahayu’s reservoir had stunning natural potentials that can be used for learning, especially for the ecosystem topic. This type of  research was experimental research designed using a One shot case study. The sample of this research are class VIIA and VII C which amounts to 78 students. The results include learning outcomes, students activities, implementation learning model of sains technology society and student responses of learning. The result showed that the students are more active when learning in the first time implemented in Malahayu’s reservoir, in categories active n very active reached 81.5% in class VII A and 92.5% in class VII C. Learning outcomes of students in class VII A in the classical is 90% and 95% in class VII C. Based on the results and discussion is able to concluded that utilization of Malahayu’s reservoir as authentic learning resource with learning model of sains technology society take effect to learning outcomes of students and students activities. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waduk malahayu sebagai sumber belajar dengan model pembelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem di SMP N 4 Banjarharjo. Waduk Malahayu memiliki potensi alam yang mempesona yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran, terutama untuk materi ekosistem. Penelitian eksperimental ini menggunakan desain One shot case study. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VII A dan VII C yang berjumlah 78 siswa. Hasil penelitian meliputi hasil belajar, aktivitas siswa, keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran STM dengan sumber belajar waduk, tanggapan siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih aktif ketika pembelajaran pada pertemuan pertama dilaksanakan di waduk Malahayu, pada kategori aktif dan sangat aktif mencapai 81.5% di kelas VII A dan 92.5% di kelas VII C. Hasil belajar siswa di kelas VII A secara klasikal 90% dan 95% di kelas VII C. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan waduk Malahayu sebagai sumber belajar dengan model pembelajaran STM berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas siswa.

This research aims to testthe effectiveness of the modules implemented ecosystem-based constructivist learning in junior YPE Semarang. The population inthis research were allstudents of classVIIconsists oftwoclasses.This research was conductedwith the designcontrol grouppretest-posttest. Based on the resultsof t-testonstudent learning outcomesacquiredthitung>ttablethenH0is rejectedandH1accepted,so itwas concluded thatthe results ofstudyingthe experimental groupis higherthan theresults ofstudyingthe control group withthe percentage ofmastery learningclassicalexperimental groupreached 90% while the control groupat 50%. The results ofthe analysis ofthe teacherand thestudents to themodulereachesa percentage of100%with avery goodcriteriaindicatesthat themoduleis appliedtoattract studentstostudy the materialecosystem. Based on these resultsit can be concludedthat theEcosystem-Based ModuleConstructivismappliedeffectively usedasteaching materialin juniorYPESemarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan modul ekosistem berbasis konstruktivisme yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di SMP YPE Semarang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII yang terdiri dari dua kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan desain control group pre test-post test. Berdasarkan hasil uji t terhadap hasil belajar siswa diperoleh thitung>ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar kelompok kontrol dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal kelompok eksperimen mencapai 90% sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya mencapai 50%. Hasil analisis tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap modul mencapai presentase 100% dengan kriteria sangat baik menunjukkan bahwa modul yang diterapkan dapat menarik minat siswa untuk mempelajari materi ekosistem. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Ekosistem Berbasis Konstruktivisme yang diterapkan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMP YPE Semarang. .

Abstract

This research aims to development and test the feasibility of visual novel education game based on character building using the environment preservation study material. Visual novel education game is titled "Arif Si Anak Peduli Lingkungan”. In this research, the media will be explored, developed by experts and tested through two stages, namely the stage of small-scale testing and large-scale testing. Subject of small-scale trials are one class and the subject of large-scale trials that are 2 classes in SMA N 1 Kajen. Data obtained from the feasibility media pieces by the expert appraisal and response sheet and student teachers. Data obtained from the media effectiveness of student learning outcomes. The data concerned the students' character value obtained from observation and tests of character. The results of the feasibility analysis show that media worthy media, expert assessment of media and material experts scored 2.69 and 2.75 which shows a very decent criteria. Teachers and 100% of students to respond to the criteria very well and good. Analysis is studying the results showed 80.95% of students obtain the learning outcomes above KKM (≥ 80). The results of the analysis of the character of students shows that students have a high scores character​​. It was concluded that the media developed is feasible as a learning media in high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan mediagame edukasi visual novel berbasis pembangunan karakter pada materi pelestarain lingkungan. Data kelayakan media diperoleh dari lembar penilaian kelayakan oleh pakar dan lembar tanggapan guru dan siswa. Data keefektifan media diperoleh dari hasil belajar siswa. Data nilai karakter peduli lingkungan siswa diperoleh dari observasi dan tes karakter. Hasil analisis kelayakan media menunjukan bahwa media layak, penilaian dari ahli media dan ahli materi memperoleh nilai 2,69 dan 2,75 yang menunjukan kriteria sangat layak. Guru dan 100% siswa memberikan tanggapan dengan kriteria sangat baik dan baik. Analasis hasil belajar menunjukan 80,95% siswa memperoleh hasil belajar diatas KKM (≥80). Hasil analisis karakter siswa menunjukan siswa memiliki nilai karakter yang tinggi. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMA.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the application method Example Non Example on the activity and student learning outcomes at the Animal Diversity material in SMP N 2 Tengaran. This true experimental research design uses random subject design test design (post-test only control design) with 2-class samples are class VII G as a control class and class VII I as a experiment class. The technique sampling used is a convinence sampling technique. The percentage activity of students in the experimental class and control classes were 91.66% and 60.03%. The percentage of students in the classical mastery in experimental classes and control classes were 75.00% and 18.75%. T-test was used to examine the difference average of the learning outcomes between control class and experimental class. The results of t-test obtained tcount=7,22>ttable=1,67 with α = 5% and df = 66, so the average student learning outcomes in experimental classes are better than the control class. Based on these results can be concluded that the application of methods Example Non Example at the Animal Diversity material effective to increase the activity and student learning outcomes in SMP N 2 Tengaran Semarang regency landmarks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan metode Example Non Example terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Keanekaragaman Hewan di SMP N 2 Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian true experimental design ini menggunakan desain random subject test design (post-test only control design) dengan 2 (dua) kelas sampel yaitu kelas VII G sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII I sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik Convinience Sampling. Persentase aktivitas siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 91,66% dan 60,03%. Persentase ketuntasan siswa secara klasikal pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 75,00% dan 18,75%. Uji-t digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung = 7,22>ttabel = 1,67 dengan α = 5% dan dk=66 sehingga rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Example Non Example efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Keanekaragaman Hewan di SMP N 2 Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang.
