Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to develop assessment instruments affective and psychomotor domains in practicum courses animals body structure. The process of Assessment instrument development was conducted in the Department of Biological Science, Semarang State University. The trials of small-scale products carried out in rombel 1 pure biology and the big-scale products carried out in rombel 3 biology education, Semarang State University. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) which is modified from Sugiyono. Research sampling technique used convenience sampling. The results showed that the assessment instruments affective and psychomotor domains in practicum courses meet the criteria of the animals body structure is very feasible with the percentage of eligibility according to experts at 88.49%, according to a lecturer at 91.34%, and according to the lab assistant of 83%. Assessment instruments affective and psychomotor domains developed valid and reliable. Validity average of statement grains of 0.822 with a very high category and reliability category average of 0.91 with a very high category. Based on the results of research and development, it can be concluded that the assessment instruments affective and psychomotor domains developed very feasible, valid and reliable to be applied as the assessment tool in practicum course on the animals body structure. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian ranah afektif dan psikomotorik pada mata kuliah praktikum struktur tubuh hewan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D), dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Agustus 2014 di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling. Sampel ujicoba skala kecil adalah rombel 1 biologi murni sejumlah 10 mahasiswa dan 2 asisten praktikum, sedangkan sampel ujicoba skala besar adalah rombel 3 pendidikan biologi sejumlah 39 mahasiswa dan 8 asisten praktikum. Data kualitas instrumen penilaian dan tanggapan terhadap penggunaan instrumen penilaian dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif persentase, sedangkan data validitas dan reliabilitas butir pernyataan dianalisis dengan bantuan program Anates.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian ranah afektif dan psikomotorik yang dikembangkan berkualitas, dengan kriteria penilaian ahli  sebesar 88,49%. Tanggapan terhadap penggunaan instrumen penilaian instrumen penilaian sangat layak dengan kriteria penilaian dosen sebesar 91,34% dan asisten praktikum sebesar 83%. Instrumen penilaian ranah afektif dan psikomotorik yang dikembangkan valid dan reliabel. Validitas butir pernyataan sebesar 0,822 (sangat valid) dan reliabilitas sebesar 0,91 (sangat reliabel). Abstract

AbstractThe purposes of this study were to analyze the difference of student’s metacognitive skill score between PBL class and Jigsaw class, analyze the difference of student’s learning outcomes between PBL class and Jigsaw class,  and analyze the relationship between metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes. This was an experimental research. The population was 156 students in grade XI Science in State Senior High School 1 Pecangaan, Jepara academic year 2013/2014. Cluster random sampling technique was used and result two groups, namely PBL group  and Jigsaw group . The PBL group  was subjected to Problem Based Learning model, and the Jigsaw group was subjected to Jigsaw model. After learning, metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes of cognitive test performed in both groups PBL and Jigsaw to collect the data. The results showed that there was no differences average of metacognitive skill score between students in PBL class and Jigsaw class, there was differences of learning outcomes between students in PBL class and Jigsaw class, PBL class showed a higher learning outcomes significantly than Jigsaw class, there was a possitive strong relationship between metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes, and the percentage of students who reach the mastery learning in group subjected Problem Based Learning more than or equal to 75%, whereas in group subjected Jigsaw less than 75%. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan keterampilan metakognitif antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, dan menganalisis hubungan antara keterampilan metakognitif dengan hasil belajar kognitif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Pecangaan, Jepara tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik cluster random sampling terpilih dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kelas PBL dan kelompok kelas Jigsaw. Kelompok PBL dikenai pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning dan kelompok Jigsaw dikenai model pembelajaran model Jigsaw. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran pada kedua kelompok dilakukan pengumpulan data dengan tes lembar inventori kesadaran metakognitif dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor keterampilan metakognitif siswa antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, kelas PBL menunjukkan hasil belajar kognitif yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding kelas Jigsaw, adanya hubungan positif yang kuat antara skor keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif, dan persentase siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada kelompok yang menggunakan pembelajaran PBL lebih dari atau sama dengan 75%, sedangkan kelompok yang menggunakan pembelajaran Jigsaw kurang dari 75%.

Abstract

Abstract This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The purpose of the study to examine the implementation, barriers, and the results of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in science.The data was collected usingdocumentation research, observation, and interviews. Methods of data analysisusing the technique of triangulation. This study is located in SMP N 1 Magelang.The results show a syllabus for teaching science curriculum 2013 in SMPN 1 Magelang has been accomplished in full, the process of learning science in SMP N 1 Magelang has met all the requirements to obligate the curriculum in2013, and the implementation of the 2013 curriculum has a positive impact onschool performance and student learning. Based on the research results and thediscussion concluded that the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 had apositive impact on the management of science learning. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan, hambatan, dan hasil dari implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran IPA. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SMP N 1 Magelang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan silabus mata pelajaran IPA Kurikulum 2013 di SMP N 1 Magelang telah terlaksana seluruhnya, proses pembelajaran IPA di SMP N 1 Magelang telah memenuhi seluruh persyaratan untuk melakasanakan kurikulum 2013, dan implementasi kurikulum 2013 memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap prestasi sekolah dan belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum 2013 berdampak positif terhadap pengelolaan pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Abstract Availability of various learning materials will increase student’s knowledge. Reality in field still limited of learning materials is used in learning process. The aim of this research is to determine global warming pocketbook  which is appropriate to be used as learning materials in Junior High School, and to determine the feasibility and the effectiveness global warming pocketbook to be developed. This research design was Research and Development (R & D). The results assessment of media specialist and materials specialist showed that a global warming pocketbook was well worth the feasibility percentage, respectively for 96,4% and 93,3%. The response percentage of students on product trial was >50%. Student classical learning completeness obtained ≥75% (KKM: ≥75). The response percentage of teacher was >50%. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that global warming pocketbook which is appropriate with necessary of students and teacher is full colour and picture, consists of many exercises and information supported materials. A global warming pocketbook to be developed is feasible and effective for use as a learning materials in learning process. Abstrak Ketersediaan bahan ajar yang bervariasi akan meningkatkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh siswa. Kenyataan di lapangan masih terbatasnya bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui buku saku materi pemanasan global yang sesuai digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMP, serta mengetahui kelayakan dan efektifitas buku saku materi pemanasan global yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan rancangan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa buku saku materi pemanasan global sangat layak dengan persentase kelayakan berturut-turut sebesar 96,4% dan 93,3%. Persentase tanggapan siswa pada uji coba produk mencapai >50%. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa mencapai ≥75% (KKM: ≥75). Persentase tanggapan guru mencapai >50%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku saku materi pemanasan global yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan guru adalah buku saku yang penuh warna dan gambar, serta berisi banyak latihan soal dan informasi pendukung materi. Buku saku materi pemanasan global yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract Environmental pollution module PAIKEM oriented by using batik waste, is a learning material that integrated to Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Fun to assessing pollution batik waste as a source of learning. The goal of this study was to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the environmental pollution module PAIKEM oriented using batik waste as a source of learning for high school biology students. Based on preliminary observations result, it was needed to develop a module that uses batik waste as a source of environmental pollution study for biological stydy material. This research was a research and development that use a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was X1-4 graders which specialized in Mathematics and Natural Sciences on Pekalongan State 2 High School, and the sample was X1 (as experimental class) and X2 (as control class). T test results showed that the average difference value of the pretest and posttest experimental class were greater than the control. Student activity in experimental class was qualified into high and very high categories (> 80%). Students and teachers had given the good responses to the module environmental pollution PAIKEM oriented using batik waste. Students creatively designing batik solid waste into works of interest. It can be concluded that the module environmental pollution PAIKEM oriented using batik was feasible and effective to be used in the enviromental pollutant studies. Abstrak Modul pencemaran lingkungan berorientasi PAIKEM menggunakan limbah batik merupakan bahan ajar yang mengintegrasikan Pembelajaran Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan dalam mengkaji pencemaran limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektivan modul pencemaran lingkungan berorientasi PAIKEM menggunakan limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa perlu dikembangkan modul yang mengkaji pencemaran limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar biologi materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development dengan menggunakan pretestposttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1-4 peminatan Matematika Ilmu Alam SMA N 2 Pekalongan, dan sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X1 (eksperimen) dan siswa kelas X2 (kontrol). Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata selisih nilai posttestpretest kelass eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pembelajaran. Aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen masuk dalam kriteria tinggi dan sangat tinggi (>80%). Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap modul pencemaran lingkungan berorientasi PAIKEM menggunakan limbah batik. Siswa kreatif mendesain limbah padat batik menjadi karya-karya yang menarik. Abstract

AbstractBased on the preliminary observation, it was known that teachers have not used inquiry based learning of Digestive System concept worksheet and student’s critical thinking skills were low. The aims of this research were to determine the feasibility of the student worksheet in the identification digestive process of ruminant. Also, it was to measure the effectiveness of student worksheet for the student learning achievement. The critical thinking skills of Digestive System concept was measured as well. The study was a R&D research, product development trials was an experiment method with one-shot case study design. Large-scale field-testing in this research was class XI IPA1 and XI IPA2 in Islamic Senior High School Ta’alumul Huda Bumiayu. Result of student worksheet development in terms of its linguistic aspect, presentation aspect, and contens aspect was very feasible criteria and display aspect was feasible criteria. The average classical completeness of students class XI IPA1 reached 83.75% and class XI IPA2 was 90.9%. The average percentage classical for the critical thinking skills of students class XI IPA1 and XI IPA 2 were very high criteria. It was concluded that student worksheet practical identification digestive process of ruminant animal based guided inquiry was feasible and effectively applied for learning of Digestive System concept.Abstrak Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa guru belum pernah menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan, sehingga keterampilan berpikir siswa masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas LKS praktikum identifikasi proses pencernaan hewan ruminansia berbasis guided inquiry dan mengukur keefektivan LKS terhadap hasil belajar kognitif serta keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development, uji coba produk pengembangan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study. Uji skala luas dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA 2 di SMA Islam Ta’alumul Huda Bumiayu. Hasil pengembangan LKS, aspek kebahasaan memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, aspek  penyajian memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, aspek kegrafikan memperoleh kriteria layak, dan aspek isi memperoleh kriteria sangat layak. Rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal siswa kelas XI IPA 1 mencapai 83,75% dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebesar 90,9%. Rata-rata keterampilan berpikir siswa secara klasikal kelas XI IPA 1 dan  XI IPA 2 mencapai kriteria sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis praktikum identifikasi proses pencernaan hewan ruminansia berbasis guided inquiry layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________The aim of the study was to examine the effect of practicum to student’s learning outcomes in the study material of fungi on SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan. This study was Quasi Experimental Design. The study design used a pattern of pre-test post-test nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was an entire class of SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan, while the sample in this study was X3 (as an experimental class) and X4 (as a control class). The level of adherence to practicum to student’s learning outcomes score indicated a score of 72 % of student in the category good. Based on the results of research and discussion concluded that the practicum can affect to student’s learning outcomes in the study material of fungi.Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh praktikum jamur terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi Jamur kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain quasi experimental dengan menggunakan bentuk desain pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X3 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas X4 (kelas kontrol). Tingkat keterlaksanaan praktikum terhadap skor hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan skor keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 72 % dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa praktikum dapat mempengaruhi skor hasil belajar siswa pada materi jamur.

Abstract

 Abstract _________________________________________________________________This study aimed to observe, analyze needs, develop, and test the feasibility, legibility, and the effectiveness of teaching materials based environmental pollution in sewage treatment MTs Sabilul Ulum Mayong Jepara. This study wasa research and development (R & D). Data feasibility of teaching materials drawn from the assessment of the validity of the experts, to test the readability of data taken from student responses after administration of teaching materials. The effectiveness of teaching materials was tested through experiments with research design Control Group Pre-test Post-test to see its effect on student learning outcomes in the study sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The validity of the assessment results based teaching materials waste treatment by media experts 78.8% with decent criteria and 94.6% of matter experts with very decent criteria. The trial results legibility teaching materials received responses of students with a mean score of  92% and both teachers and students are very interested in the sewage treatment based teaching materials. Results of testing the use of teaching materials showed that the averag epost-test value of the experimental class 75.53 and control class 69.93. Based on the results of t-test experimental class and control class showstcount price of 4,103> ttabel price for df = 78 with a 1% significance level of 2,38. Based on the results of the study concluded that there is a very significant difference between the average value of the end of the experimental class with the control class. The results indicated that sewage treatment based teaching materials was effective for student learning outcomes.Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, serta menguji kelayakan, keterbacaan, dan efektivitas bahan ajar pencemaran lingkungan  berbasis pengolahan limbah di MTs Sabilul Ulum Mayong Jepara. Penelitian ini merupakan research and development (R & D). Data kelayakan bahan ajar diambil dari penilaian validitas para pakar, untuk data uji coba keterbacaan diambil dari tanggapan siswa setelah diberikan materi bahan ajar.  Keefektifan bahan ajar diuji melalui eksperimen dengan rancangan   penelitian Control Group Pre-test Post-test untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil  penilaian validitas bahan ajar berbasis pengolahan limbah oleh pakar media 78,8%  dengan kriteria layak dan pakar materi 94,6% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji coba keterbacaan bahan ajar mendapat tanggapan siswa dengan rerata skor 92% dan  baik guru maupun siswa sangat tertarik terhadap bahan ajar berbasis pengolahan limbah. Hasil uji coba pemakaian bahan ajar  menunjukkan bahwa rerata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen 75.53  dan kelas kontrol 68,93. Berdasarkan hasil uji t kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan harga thitung sebesar 4,103 > harga ttabel untuk dk = 78 dengan taraf signifikansi 1% sebesar 2,38. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian  disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara rata-rata nilai akhir kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan  bahan ajar pencemaran lingkungan  berbasis pengolahan limbah efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

AbstractThe purposes of this study were to analyze the difference of student’s metacognitive skill score between PBL class and Jigsaw class, analyze the difference of student’s learning outcomes between PBL class and Jigsaw class,  and analyze the relationship between metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes. This was an experimental research. The population was 156 students in grade XI Science in State Senior High School 1 Pecangaan, Jepara academic year 2013/2014. Cluster random sampling technique was used and result two groups, namely PBL group  and Jigsaw group . The PBL group  was subjected to Problem Based Learning model, and the Jigsaw group was subjected to Jigsaw model. After learning, metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes of cognitive test performed in both groups PBL and Jigsaw to collect the data. The results showed that there was no differences average of metacognitive skill score between students in PBL class and Jigsaw class, there was differences of learning outcomes between students in PBL class and Jigsaw class, PBL class showed a higher learning outcomes significantly than Jigsaw class, there was a possitive strong relationship between metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes, and the percentage of students who reach the mastery learning in group subjected Problem Based Learning more than or equal to 75%, whereas in group subjected Jigsaw less than 75%. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan keterampilan metakognitif antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, dan menganalisis hubungan antara keterampilan metakognitif dengan hasil belajar kognitif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Pecangaan, Jepara tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik cluster random sampling terpilih dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kelas PBL dan kelompok kelas Jigsaw. Kelompok PBL dikenai pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning dan kelompok Jigsaw dikenai model pembelajaran model Jigsaw. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran pada kedua kelompok dilakukan pengumpulan data dengan tes lembar inventori kesadaran metakognitif dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor keterampilan metakognitif siswa antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, kelas PBL menunjukkan hasil belajar kognitif yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding kelas Jigsaw, adanya hubungan positif yang kuat antara skor keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif, dan persentase siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada kelompok yang menggunakan pembelajaran PBL lebih dari atau sama dengan 75%, sedangkan kelompok yang menggunakan pembelajaran Jigsaw kurang dari 75%.

Abstract

Abstract Environmental pollution module PAIKEM oriented by using batik waste, is a learning material that integrated to Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Fun to assessing pollution batik waste as a source of learning. The goal of this study was to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the environmental pollution module PAIKEM oriented using batik waste as a source of learning for high school biology students. Based on preliminary observations result, it was needed to develop a module that uses batik waste as a source of environmental pollution study for biological stydy material. This research was a research and development that use a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was X1-4 graders which specialized in Mathematics and Natural Sciences on Pekalongan State 2 High School, and the sample was X1 (as experimental class) and X2 (as control class). T test results showed that the average difference value of the pretest and posttest experimental class were greater than the control. Student activity in experimental class was qualified into high and very high categories (> 80%). Students and teachers had given the good responses to the module environmental pollution PAIKEM oriented using batik waste. Students creatively designing batik solid waste into works of interest. It can be concluded that the module environmental pollution PAIKEM oriented using batik was feasible and effective to be used in the enviromental pollutant studies. Abstrak Modul pencemaran lingkungan berorientasi PAIKEM menggunakan limbah batik merupakan bahan ajar yang mengintegrasikan Pembelajaran Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan dalam mengkaji pencemaran limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektivan modul pencemaran lingkungan berorientasi PAIKEM menggunakan limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa perlu dikembangkan modul yang mengkaji pencemaran limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar biologi materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development dengan menggunakan pretestposttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1-4 peminatan Matematika Ilmu Alam SMA N 2 Pekalongan, dan sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X1 (eksperimen) dan siswa kelas X2 (kontrol).
