Abstract

Pendidikan seni budaya di Sekolah diperuntukkan dan diikuti oleh seluruh siswa, baik siswa perempuan maupun siswa laki-laki, yang berminat maupun yang tidak berminat, yang berbakat maupun yang tidak berbakat. Konstruksi pembelajaran seni budaya khususnya seni tari selama ini guru belum memahami betul pembelajaran berperspektif gender, maka dirasa perlu agar proses pembelajaran tidak bias gender. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, dengan mengambil 3 (tiga) lokasi SMP di Kabupaten Kudus, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi di lokasi penelitian, dan wawancara dengan guru seni budaya di Kabupaten Kudus. Metode yang digunakan analisis data kualitatif triangulasi, sharing dan focus group discussion (FGD). Hasil Penelitian menemukan bahwa sebagian guru belum memahami betul konsep pembelajaran seni budaya berperspektif gender. Kesenjangan gender terjadi hanya pada ketidaktahuan seorang guru terhadap konstruksi pembelajaran yang selama ini guru lakukan masih bias gender. Penerapan konsep gender dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di sekolah, disesuaikan dengan kondisi, minat dan kemampuan siswa baik laki-laki maupun perempuan, dimana konstruksi gender menuntut seorang guru harus bisa merancang sebuah pembelajaran yang menarik dan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi, dengan silabus dan RPP yang tidak bias gender apapun jenis dan materi pembelajarannya. Saran peneliti, perlu pelatihan dan sosialisasi penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran seni budaya berperspektif gender secara bertahap dan berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Kudus. Art and Culture Education in the schools is for at and followed by all children, both men are women, who has interest or doesn’t have, talented or untalented. Construction of art and culture education especially dance which has gender perspective, up until now, is not understood by the teachers. So that it is necessary to understand the gender perspective to get gender – unbiased learning. The design of the research uses case study approach, with the samples of 3 locations SMP at Kudus regency, data collection was conducted using observation in research location, and the interview with the art and culture education teacher at Kudus regency. Method employed is triangulationf of qualitative data analysis, sharing, and focus group discussion (FGD). The research found that most teachers haven’t understood about the concept about art and culture learning with gender perspective. Gender gap happened only when teachers don’t know about learning construction which is always gender biased. The implementation of gender concept in art and culture learning in the school is adjusted with the condition, interest, and students ability both men and women, in which gender construction demands a teacher to be able to design an interesting learning and various learning method, with the syllabus and lesson plan which is not gender bias. or the kinds and the learning materials. The researcher suggests that training and socialization of learning instrument construction are necessary to develop gender perspective art and culture education at Kudus regency.

Abstract

Pendekatan konstruktivistik berbasis masalah dalam pembelajaran Desain Komunikasi Visual IV berorientasi pada permasalahan pembelajaran yang bersifat spesifik dan kontekstual, terkait dengan peningkatan kinerja dan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam perancangan karya desain, termasuk peningkatan kinerja dosen, serta pengembangan potensi mahasiswa sesuai tuntutan profesinya kelak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Kegiatannya meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan analisis, serta refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, angket, tes, dan catatan reflektif. Sumber datanya adalah aktivitas mahasiswa dan dosen. Analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif, hasil kegiatan belajar tiap siklus dibandingkan dengan indikator keberhasilan, serta melalui pembandingan hasil belajar antar siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan konstruktivistik dengan model berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran desain komunikasi visual. Mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan hasil belajarnya, bila diberi keleluasaan memilih alternatif permasalahan, terlibat aktif dalam perencanaan desain, berganti peran dalam presentasi, dan mendapat umpan balik bervariasi dalam diskusi yang cukup waktu. Kinerja mahasiswa kerja kelompok meningkat dari rerata skor 3.5 menjadi 4.5 dengan klasifikasi baik sekali, kinerja dalam presentasi dan diskusi meningkat dari rerata skor 3.4 menjadi 4.0 dengan klasifikasi baik. Kinerja dosen berdasarkan respon mahasiswa juga meningkat dari rerata skor 4.3 menjadi 4.5 mencapai klasifikasi baik sekali. Perkembangan hasil belajar mahasiswa mencapai klasifikasi baik, lima mahasiswa mencapai nilai A, 20 mahasiswa atau 50% lebih mendapat nilai B, dan seorang mendapat nilai C; sehingga sesuai tingkat keberhasilan yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan perkembangan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang menunjukkan peningkatan, termasuk kinerja mahasiswa maupun dosen telah sesuai tingkat pencapaian yang ditentukan. Problem based constructivistic approach on Visual Communication Design IV learning oriented on specific and contextual learning problem, concerned with the the performance improvement and students’ learning results in designing the work design, including performance improvement of the lecturer, and students’ potency development along with the prospective occupation. This research is classroom action research. This activity includes: Planning, conducting the action, observation, questionnaire, test, and reflective record. The data source is from students’ activity and lecturer. The data is analyzed through qualitative and descriptive, learning activity’s result for each cycle is compared with the success indicator, and through the comparison of inter – cycle learning’s results. Students can improve their performance and learning result, if they are given flexibility in choosing alternative problem, engage actively in planning the design, changing the role in presentation, getting the various feedback in discussing in sufficient time. Group work of the students’ performance increase from the average score 3,5 to 4,5 with classification of good enough, performance in presentation and discussion increase from average score 3,4 to 4,0 with classification of good. Lecturer’s performance is based on students’ response also increase 4,3 to 4, 5 with the classification of good enough. The development of students’ learning result achieved good classification, 5 students got A, 20 students or mora thatn 50 % got B, and a student got C; so that based on the determined success rate. Based on the development of students’ result which also shows improvement, including students’ performance or lecturer which is appropriate with the determined level of achievement.
