The problem in this research are: (1) how the comic strip form which can be used as a medium of learning appreciation puppet characters Pandavas in VIII A student of SMPN 2 Kaliwungu? (2) how to increase the appreciation of the ability of the puppet characters Pandavas in class VIII A SMP N 2 Kaliwungu using the medium of the comic strip? .Penelitian Using methods Research and Development with controlled observation. Data analysis was performed through data reduction, data presentation and verifikasi.Hasil study shows that an effective form of comic strip as a medium of learning appreciation of the Pandavas leather puppet characters kartunal approach to supporting the comic strip character, load the material appreciation of the puppet characters Pandavas. Use of the comic strip is done by stages: planning, namely teachers and researchers to collaborate in the preparation of the RPP.

The researchers would like to discuss two issues, namely (1) How is professionalism Junior High School art teacher throughout Batang district? (2) What are the factors that influence the professionalism Junior High School art teacher throughout Batang District ?. The results showed that professionalism Junior High School art teacher throughout Batang district assessed by the principal, teachers of art, researchers, and students with the competencies assessed were pedagogic competence, professional competence, social competence, and personal competence included in either category. Based on the observation and analysis of researchers, there are several supporting factors and obstacles that affect the level of professionalism of teachers of art in Batang. Supporting factor is the educational background of teachers, teaching skills of each teacher, and the status of teachers who are certified professionals. In addition to supporting factors, there are also factors that hinder the teacher in the learning activities, among other limitations learning media, as well as the supporting infrastructure of subjects of art. The suggestion is: (1) Master the art should be able to always improve professionalism so that performance can be grown, (2) The school is expected to provide the necessary facilities for teachers and students to study art is going well, (3) Experts or education practitioners are expected to conduct further research. PEMBUATAN ILUSTRASI BUKU POP-UP SEBAGAI MEDIA PENGENALAN HURUF DAN NAMA-NAMA BINATANG PADA ANAK USIA DINI EDHO, BAKHTAWAR

This study project creation through four processes, namely: 1 ) setting goals, 2 ) data collection, 3 ) pre-production process, and 4 ) the production process . Preproduction phase include making a sketch , vectorization, and printing and production processes that include cutting , scrapping out , hand assembly, and finishing. In the making of this work resulted in two works illustrated books , namely ; 1) The pop -up book illustration of a combination consisting of 26 illustrations and pop -up animals that are sorted in alphabetical order and 2 ) ilutrasi pop-up book volvelle or wheel divided into four series, namely ; a) water animals series , b ) winged animals series, c ) urban animals series , and d ) wild animals series. With the study project is expected that art students especially design students can design a good design work , innovative and communicative so that they can make a positive contribution through works of art and design .

The research problems are include (1) How is the educational value of creative character that is reflected in the learning mask craft art class XI IPA 1 SMAN 5 Tegal? (2) How does the character creation mask is displayed class XI IPA 1 SMAN 5 Tegal? The aim of this study were. Data obtained from observation by the pilot implementation of the action, direct observation, interviews, documentation and photo archives. Overall mask craft art learning takes place quite smoothly. In the evaluation of the work, the average value obtained by the students of class XI IPA 1 is 78.4 which is classified in either category. Based on the observation and analysis of research, some of the students' work that still does not meet the aesthetic value. That is because the students make a mask with no regard to the value of beauty. Creative character in learning the art of craft mask Class XI Science 1 can appear as well as integrated in the student activities during work and organize.
