Abstract

This article analyzes about relation between human and nature in the “self-cleansing” tradition and knows the meaning of purity in the ecotourism perspective in the Seloliman village of Mojokerto. The purpose of this study is to understand human and natural relations in a tradition as self-serving and to know the meaning of self as purely in the ecotourism perspective. The results of this study concluded that, in the perspective of Javanese philosophy, a purely self-made tradition was used to draw closer to God, especially in the silent procession. The process of silence is the stage where a person performs self-reflection and reaches harmony with God and nature. In the perspective of existentialistic phenomenology, the ability to understand Jolotundo as a space for spiritual practice provides an understanding of spiritual actors in their interests in this world, and their ontological relations with nature and their world. In the ecotourism perspective, as self-serving has undergone cultural acculturation in each method and its meaning, this indicates that every religion that is acculturated in a purified tradition has a universal meaning about the existence of nature.

Abstract

Many Islamic educational experts have given serious attention to studying the concept of learning ethics, including al-Zarnuji and Ahmad Maisur Sindi al-Thursidi, who were Muslim intellectual thinkers who were competent in developing Islamic educational thought in their time. This research aims to determine the similarities and differences in thoughts in the Book of Ta'limul Muta'allim by Syaikh Al-Zarnuji and the Book of Tanbihul Muta'allim by KH. Ahmad Maisur Sindi Al-Thursidi. The results of the research show that the similarities between both regarding ethics in learning are that you must be in a state of purity, pray before studying, be istiqamah in studying, face the direction of the Qibla, be serious in studying, respect the teacher, be polite, not hurt the teacher's feelings, and ask permission if necessary. Meanwhile, according to al-Thursidi, the difference is that students must be serious about studying, memorize and learn knowledge in stages, divide their time so they can fulfill their time rights, understand knowledge seriously and write down the knowledge they have gained, repeat lessons more often. Which has been studied mainly at night, and must apply the knowledge gained to others so that the knowledge becomes useful.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to investigate the relevance of the implementation of the Qur'an within the framework of daily life. The Qur'an, as a divine revelation delivered to the Prophet Muhammad SAW through the angel Gabriel, serves as a foundational source of knowledge in Islam. This study employs a literature review methodology, analyzing diverse reference materials through keywords such as "the Qur'an and guidance for life," "the Qur'an and humanity," and "the wisdom of the Qur'an for human existence." Findings indicate that the comprehension and application of the Qur'an can function as a critical framework for individual life guidance. The Qur'an is characterized by several roles: it provides guidance (Al Huda), differentiation (Al Furqan), healing (As Syifa), and counsel (Al Mau`izah). Its influence extends beyond mere moral direction; it is also regarded as a miraculous text that delineates human attributes and fortifies the beliefs of adherents to Islam and its jurisprudential principles. Furthermore, the Qur'an is a comprehensive source of knowledge, encompassing various domains such as monotheism, legal frameworks, Sufism, Islamic philosophy, Islamic history, and educational paradigms. It represents a cohesive system of guidance and instruction for the Muslim community. Consequently, as practitioners of Islam, there exists an imperative to integrate the teachings of the Qur'an into daily practices. The failure to engage with and apply these teachings may result in spiritual detriment in the context of the afterlife. Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan mengeksplorasi mendalami relevansi implementasi Al-Qur'an dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Al-Qur'an, sebagai wahyu ilahi yang diturunkan kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW melalui perantaraan malaikat Jibril, merupakan sumber pengetahuan utama dalam Islam. Metodologi penelitian ini berfokus pada kajian literatur, dengan mengeksplorasi berbagai sumber rujukan menggunakan kata kunci seperti 'Al-Qur'an dan petunjuk hidup', 'Al-Qur'an dan Manusia', dan 'Hikmah Al-Qur'an bagi kehidupan manusia'. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan pengamalan Al-Qur'an dapat berfungsi sebagai panduan hidup esensial bagi individu. Al-Qur'an berperan sebagai petunjuk (Al Huda), pemisah (Al Furqan), obat-obatan (As Syifa), dan penasehat (Al Mau`izah). Peran Al-Qur'an dalam kehidupan manusia tidak hanya membimbing mereka ke jalan yang lurus, tetapi juga sebagai mukjizat Nabi Muhammad yang menjelaskan sifat-sifat manusia, memperkuat keyakinan orang-orang dalam Islam dan hukum-hukumnya. Al-Qur'an juga berfungsi sebagai sumber ilmu pengetahuan, mencakup berbagai bidang seperti tauhid, hukum, tasawuf, filsafat Islam, sejarah Islam, dan pendidikan Islam. Al-Qur'an adalah kesatuan petunjuk dan panduan bagi kehidupan umat Islam. Oleh karena itu, sebagai umat Islam, kita memiliki kewajiban untuk menerapkan ajaran Al-Qur'an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Ketidakmampuan umat Muslim untuk mempelajari dan menerapkan ajaran Al-Qur'an dapat mengakibatkan kerugian spiritual dalam kehidupan akhirat.

Abstract

This study examines the synergy between fiqh and Sufism in shaping the harmony of sharia and spiritual values through the activities of the As-Sa’adah Sholawat Council in Sidoarjo, East Java. The study highlights how local Islamic traditions sustain both legal and mystical dimensions of religious life in contemporary Javanese Muslim communities. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving council members and religious leaders. The analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model with triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal that the As-Sa’adah Council integrates fiqh and Sufism through communal prayers, tawasul, tahlil, and sholawat, balancing external discipline (sharia) with inner spirituality (haqiqat). This harmony reflects the Javanese concept of laku, where religious practice becomes a path toward ethical refinement and divine closeness.
