Abstract

This paper investigates conceptual framework and empirical bases of career counseling to enhance students’ entrepreneurship skills among secondary vocational school students. By comprehensive services through self-help intervention might help guidance and counselling teachers in delivering entrepreneurship attitude beyond of entrepreneurship competences. For developing esnterpreneurship’s students by comprehensive intervention model, preliminary study conducted as a basis for the model. In this study, 200 Vocational school students participated in the survey which involved 5 schools in DKI Jakarta by using Stage Random Sampling. The result will shows the effectiveness based on the findings, recommendations were made for model development.

Abstract

Abstract. The study aimed to produce a self-report instrument using a cultural intelligence scale for Guidance and Counseling teachers. It employed Research and Development design adopting the model of Adam and Wieman (2011). Operationally, the development of the instrument was divided into five stages, 1) determining the question format; 2) determining the question construction; 3) determining the guidance of assessment, expert judgment, and revision of the question; 4) expert judgment by the experts of culture and instrument development; and 5) analyzing instrument using the Rasch model. Data analysis showed that in the development of cultural intelligence instrument: 1) the instrument construct was correctly determined, and it could measure one variable of Guidance and Counseling teachers' cultural understanding; 2) there were five items of cultural intelligence instrument categorized as very difficult and five items were in the very easy category; 3) all items of cultural intelligence instrument of Guidance and Counseling teachers were fit, meaning that it functioned normal, could be understood by the Guidance and Counseling teachers, and can measure what it should measure; and 4) The Cronbach Alpha was 0,96, indicating that the instrument was in the Very Good category with the Person Reliability of 0,92 and Item Reliability of 0,99. Therefore, based on the Rasch model analysis, the cultural intelligence instrument of Guidance and Counseling teachers, which was developed, had fulfilled the set standard and Good criteria, and it could be used to collect data about the cultural intelligence of Guidance and Counseling teachers.

Abstract

In this study, discusses the implementation of multicultural counseling through Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila and Profil Pelajar Rahmatan Lil Alamin (P5 PPRA) implemented at the Al Murabby Integrated Islamic Boarding School MAN 1 Kota Bandung. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach that aims to qualitatively examine the implementation pattern of multicultural counseling at MAN 1 Kota Bandung. In Profil Pelajar, several dimensions and values show that Profil Pelajar does not only focus on cognitive abilities but also attitudes and behaviors following who we are as Indonesians and citizens of the world: (1) believing, fearing God, and having a noble character; (2) global diversity; (3) cooperation; (4) independent; (5) critical reasoning, and (6) creative. Values of religious moderation include; civilization, exemplary, citizenship and nationality, taking the middle way, balancing, straight and firm, equality, deliberation, tolerance, dynamic, and innovation. Abstract

Career aspirations motivate students to form a vision of their professional future, provide direction in selecting relevant education and experiences, and to continue to grow personally and professionally. This study aims to review the analysis of student career needs based on theoretical student career aspirations. The method used is a systematic literature review. The results of the literature review recommend further research for research on 1) factors that influence the formation of career aspirations; (2) the relationship between career aspirations and job satisfaction; (3) differences in career aspirations between demographic groups such as gender, age, educational background, or ethnicity; (4) the impact of career aspirations on motivation and work involvement; (5) the role of education in forming career aspirations; (6) comparison of career aspirations between different cultures or countries

Abstract

Guidance and counseling teachers have a crucial role in helping students overcome various personal, social, and academic problems and optimally develop their potential. By having appropriate competencies, guidance, and counseling teachers can provide services that are more effective and relevant to student needs, thereby improving overall student welfare and achievement. This article aims to determine the implementation of guidance and counseling in schools according to teacher competency. The method used in writing this article is using the literature review method. The literature review was used to collect information regarding the competency of guidance and counseling teachers and the implementation of guidance and counseling in schools. Implementation of guidance and counseling teacher competencies has enormous benefits in the educational context. Competent guidance and counseling teachers can provide quality guidance and counseling services to students, helping them overcome problems, understand themselves, and develop their potential optimally. Apart from that, implementing guidance and counseling teacher competencies can also improve the overall quality of education, improve relationships between students and teachers, and provide support for students with special needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak Creative Chacarter Training (CCT) terhadap peningkatan karakter kreatif pada guru Taman Kanak-kanak di Kecamatan Coblong Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Exploratory Sequential Mixed Methods Design. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 13 orang guru PAUD di Kecamatan Coblong, Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah CCT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter kreatif guru PAUD di Kecamatan Coblong Kota Bandung dalam indikator berpikir divergen, creative process, product, dan person. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari adanya peningkatan hasil uji pretes dan postes peserta dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,75 yang menunjukkan tingkat signifikansi gain dalam kategori tinggi. CCT ini memberikan panduan kepada guru PAUD dalam menentukan kegiatan pembelajaran yang menarik dan mampu mengembangkan berbagai kemampuan anak sehingga guru PAUD mampu berinovasi dalam setiap pembelajaran dan memiliki karakter kreatif yang baik
