Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of competence, education and training on employee performance mediated by work motivation. The sample of this study consisted of all employees at the Authority Office of Class II Airports in Papua and West Papua, with a total of 160 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. The data obtained were then analyzed using path analysis with SPSS software version 24. The results showed that competence, education and training had a positive effect on work motivation and employee performance. Work motivation had a positive effect on employee performance and could mediate the effect of competence, education,and training on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the factors that affect transfer of training, namely social support, self-efficacy, and training transfer factors. This study also investigated the effect of training transfer on employee performance. This was a quantitative study with a causality analysis approach. The samples of this study consisted of all 104 employees at the Airport Management Office of Mopah Class I Airport, Merauke. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. The data collected were analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The results of the data analysis showed that social support had a positive effect on transfer motivation and training transfer, but had no positive effect on employee performance. Self-efficacy had a positive effect on transfer motivation and employee performance, but no positive effect on training transfer. Transfer motivation had a positive effect on training transfer and was shown to mediate the relationship between social support and self-efficacy on training transfer. Training transfer had a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The study aimed to test and analyze the effect of organizational culture, career development, and job satisfaction on the quality of employee work-life at the Airport Management Office (UPBU) of Mopah Class I Airport, Merauke. The study used a quantitative research design and collected data through questionnaires distributed to all 110 employees of UPBU of Mopah Class I Airport, Merauke. The data analysis used multiple linear regression. The findings showed that organizational culture, career development, and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on the quality of employee work-life. These results serve as evidence of the importance of fostering a supportive organizational culture, providing career development opportunities, and ensuring job satisfaction to improve the overall quality of employee work-life.
