Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi yang efisien dari larutan nutrisi AB Mix siap pakai untuk pertumbuhan dan kualitas hasil dari dua varietas melon. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap. (RCD) dengan pola faktorial 2x2 diulang 4 kali. Faktor I perlakuan konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix (N) yang terdiri dari N1 = 1600 ppm, N2 = 1800 ppm sedangkan perlakuan Faktor II varietas melon (V) terdiri dari V1 = Alexandro, dan V2 = Melani. Data yang diamati dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan perlakuan secara signifikan berbeda dalam uji F 5% oleh Duncan 5% tes tindak lanjut. Indikator keberhasilan pertumbuhan dan kualitas hasil melon dengan memberikan larutan nutrisi Mix AB pada konsentrasi tertentu dapat dilihat dari parameter yang diamati meliputi: jumlah bunga, berat buah, volume buah, ketebalan daging buah dan kandungan gula melon (brix) yang ditunjukkan oleh kuantitatif data. Dari hasil penelitian didapat kesimpulan bahwa konsentrasi AB Mix 1800 ppm memberikan hasil terbaik pada melon var. Alexandro pada parameter jumlah bunga, berat buah, volume buah, dan ketebalan daging buah, sebaliknya untuk hasil terbaik varietas Melani pada parameter di atas diperoleh pada konsentrasi 1600 ppm. , tetapi untuk kandungan gula tertinggi (brix) di Alexandro diperoleh pada konsentrasi 1600 ppm, tetapi varietas Melani pada 1800 ppm.

Abstract

The purpose long-term research is to provide information to the public about nutrition concentration ready-made efficient for optimal growth on different varieties of lettuce in particular and as a solution to the community Lumajang in utilizing the space around their home for growing hydroponically, in particular vegetable plants as efforts to improve the lives and well-being through nutrition families. The study began with the seeding of lettuce on rockwool, and then seedlings have emerged at least three leaves grown in netpot and placed on the shelf hydroponics with fertigation techniques, where the results can be harvested 45 days after planting (DAP). Lettuce vegetable farming with hydroponics technique is a kind of research and development in terms of cultivation techniques. Analysis of the data in this study using a completely randomized design (CRD) with factorial pattern 3x3 consisting of the first factor, namely the treatment nutrient concentrations AB mix of 350 ppm, 450 ppm and 550 ppm, and the second factor is the treatment sorts of varieties of lettuce consists of varieties of Butterhead, Grand Rapid and General. The growth parameters were observed: plant height, leaf number, root length, fresh weight and dry weight of plants. The results showed that the treatment concentration of 550 ppm provides the best growth response in plants lettuce, especially General varieties and followed Grand Rapid and Butterhead varietiesKeywords: hydroponics, nutrient AB mix concentrations, lettuce varieties

Abstract

The experiment was intended to determine the effect of concentration Abitonik and comparison of N, P and K in the fertilizer on the growth and yield of soybean varieties Wilis. Research methods in factorial randomized block design with basic patterns (RBD) 3x3 consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The treatment of each of these factors are: Factor Abitonik PGR concentration (Z) consists of 3 levels, namely Z0: without using abitonik (Control); Z1: Abitonik 0.5 ml per liter of water and Z2: Abitonik 1.0 ml per liter of water. Factors kinds of comparisons of N, P and K in fertilizers (P) consists of three levels: P1: comparison of N: P: K: 50:50:50; P2: Comparison of N: P: K: 50: 100: 175. The experimental data were analyzed by the F test (Fingerprint Variety) and followed by Ducan's Multiple Range Test 5%. The experimental results showed that the concentration Abitonik and comparison of N, P and K in fertilizers as well as the interaction between the two treatments very significant effect on plant height, number of branches on the main stem, number of pods per plant, number of pods per plant contains, the number of empty pods per plant and dry weight of 1,000 seeds. Concentration Abitonik very significant effect on plant height, number of branches on the main stem, number of pods per plant, number of pods per plant and weight of 1,000 dry beans. Concentration is the most appropriate Abitonik 1.0 ml per liter of water. Comparison of N, P and K in the fertilizer very significant effect on plant height, number of branches on the main stem, number of pods per plant, number of pods per plant and weight of 1,000 dry beans. The best comparison of N, P and K is 50: 100: 175. Interaction Abitonik concentration and ratio of N, P and K in the fertilizer very significant effect on plant height, number of branches on the main stem, number of pods per plant, number of pods per plant and 1,000 weight of dry beans. The best treatment combination is most appropriate Abitonik concentration is 1.0 ml per liter of water Abitonik and comparison of N, P and K in fertilizers 50: 100: 175.  Keywords: Concentration, growth regulators Abitonik, comparison of N, P, K in fertilizer, soybean ((Glycine max (L). Abstract

Laju pertambahan penduduk, urbanisasi, dan alih fungsi lahan pertanian ke non pertanian ber dampak pada banyak aspek kehidupan mulai dari ketahanan pangan, lingkungan, kesehatan, kenyamanan dan suasana yang asri, segar dan alami. Kelompok PKK Desa Dawuhan Lor, Kecamatan Sukodono, Lumajang, Jawa Timur telah berupaya mengatasi dampak tersebut dengan menanam pepohonan dan tanaman hias di tepi jalan depan rumah serta sayuran yang ditanam di halaman rumah dan tempat-tempat yang memungkinkan. Upaya ini dilaksanakan secara sederhana karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang pertanian. Berdasarkan realita tersebut Tim Pengusul Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) akan membantu mengatasi permasalahan dengan introduksi penerapan model urban farming diantaranya adalah teknologi hidroponik dan inovasi budidaya sayuran, buah, maupun tanaman bumbu secara portabel. Target yang ingin dicapai adalah terwujudnya swadaya 15 – 25 % kebutuhan sayuran dan bumbu dapur yang digunakan untuk masak sehari-hari serta suasana lingkungan rumah tangga yang lebih asri, alami, segar, sehat dan memberikan kontribusi nyata untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan sehingga dapat mendukung ke arah ketahanan pangan rumah tangga serta menekan pengeluaran belanja untuk membeli sayuran dan bumbu. Metode pendekatan dilaksanakan melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan soft skill, penyuluhan dan tutorial dimaksudkan untuk membuka wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang urban farming; pelatihan skill tentang dasar-dasar urban farming; dan pembentukan kader ketahanan pangan keluarga.

Abstract

Calina papaya is very popular with the public because of its rough, thick flesh texture, very sweet taste, oval-shaped fruit with medium size. The demand for calina papaya which tends to increase must be accompanied by high and continuous productivity through fertilization, for that it is necessary to do research on the intensity of fertilization and its efficiency with the application of biopori. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of biopore and fertilization intensity on the quantity and quality of calina papaya production. The study was carried out in the generative phase in the rice fields of Kemuning Sari Kidul village (50 m asl), Jenggawah District, Jember Regency using a randomized block design (RBD) with a 3 x 3 factorial pattern and repeated three times. The factors studied were the number of biopori (B) per tree consisting of B1 = 4 biopori per tree; B2= 3 biopori per tree; B3 = 2 biopori per tree and fertilization intensity (I) consists of I1 = fertilization 1 time per month; I2= fertilization 2 times per month; I3 = fertilization 3 times per month. The results showed that the intensity of fertilization 3 times per month significantly resulted in the highest fruit weight and sugar content. The fruit weights in the 2nd and 3rd measurements were 1.83 kg and 1.72 kg, respectively, the subsequent measurements were not significantly different, ranging from 1.1 to 1.3 kg, the intensity of fertilization 3 times per month also resulted in higher sugar content, namely 14 -15% brix. The combination of 4 biopore holes and fertilization intensity 3 times per month (B1I3) resulted in higher fruit weight at the 6th measurement, namely 1.33 kg. The intensity of fertilization and the use of biopori on the parameters of productive internodes and abnormal fruit did not show a significant difference.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri di dunia mengalami kemajuan yang pesat, tentunya perkembangan tersebut merupakan suatu hal yang baik. Namun terdapat juga dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh majunya perkembangan industri ini, salah satunya adalah beralihnya lahan pertanian. Hal ini akan menjadi permasalahan mengingat di sisi lain jumlah penduduk semakin meningkat dari waktu ke waktu sehingga harus dibarengi dengan peningkatan produksi pertanian. Salah satu jalan keluar yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi pertanian adalah dengan hidroponik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman caisim dan kangkung hidroponik menggunakan sistem NFT dan media tanam terbaik antara rockwool, flannel roll, sponge, dan dacron. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Greenhouse DnR Hydroponic Farm. Perumahan Pondok Bedadung Indah Blok. AA-01, Kecamatan Kaliwates, Kabupaten Jember, Jawa Timur dengan ketinggian 70 meter di atas permukaan laut, dimulai pada bulan November 2022 sampai dengan Januari 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial 2 x 4 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah tanaman (T) yaitu Caisim (T1) dan Kangkung (T2). Faktor kedua adalah media tanam (M) dengan empat taraf yaitu Rockwool (M1), Flanel (M2), Spons (M3), dan Dakron (M4). Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan uji F menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 26 for windows pada level 0,05 dan Excell Microsoft Office. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media tanam rockwool memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter pengamatan lebar daun, bobot segar, bobot akar, kemudian tanaman caisim menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan produksi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan tanaman kangkung pada parameter pengamatan panjang daun, lebar daun, panjang akar, bobot segar, bobot akar, dan tanaman caisim dengan media tanam rockwool menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tertinggi pada parameter pengamatan lebar daun, bobot segar, bobot akar. Media tanam flannel dan dakron dapat menjadi pengganti media tanam rockwool. Kata kunci: Hidroponik NFT, media tanam, caisim, kangkung

Abstract

The need for tomatoes increases every year, but plant productivity is less stable due to several factors such as season, soil fertility and nutrition. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the dose of NPK pearl and goat manure on the growth and yield of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.). This study was conducted in Karangtemplek Village, Ambulu District, Jember, East Java at an altitude of 70 meters above sea level, starting from December 2023 to March 2024. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design with 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of NPK pearl fertilizer with 4 levels, namely: N0 = 0 g / plant, N1 = 5 g / plant, N2 = 7 g / plant, N3 = 9 g / plant. The second factor is the dose of goat manure with 4 levels, namely: K0 = 0 g / plant, K1 = 100 g / plant, K2 = 125 g / plant, K3 150 = g / plant. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance, if there was a significant difference in the treatment, then continued with the Duncan test at the 5% level. The results showed that the NPK pearl dose of 9 g/plant had the best effect on plant height and stem diameter, the NPK dose of 5 g - 7 g/plant was effective in the number of leaves, flowering age, number of fruits, fruit weight per unit and fruit weight per plant. The goat manure dose of 125 g - 150 g/plant was more effective in its effect on plant height and fruit volume. The interaction between NPK pearl fertilizer and goat manure had no significant effect on all observation parameters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman benih pepaya Calina menggunakan larutan PGPR dengan selang waktu yang berbeda-beda terhadap pertumbuhan bibit. Penelitian ini bertempat di Desa Pancakarya, Kecamatan Ajung, Kabupaten Jember dengan ketinggian 50 mdpl, mulai bulan Agustus-November 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dengan 4 kali ulangan, yaitu : tanpa perlakuan (F0), perendaman benih pepaya Calina dengan 10 ml PGPR selama 30 menit (F1), 60 menit (F2), 90 menit (F3), 120 menit (F4), dan 150 menit (F5). Data pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (uji F) taraf 5% untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing perlakuan. Hasil sidik ragam yang berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) 5% untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh masing-masing perlakuan. Hasil penelitian  perendaman benih pepaya Calina dengan PGPR 10 ml selama 30-60 menit memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan bibit pepaya Calina. Perendaman selama 30 menit (F1) memberi pengaruh pada diameter batang dan lebar kanopi. Sedangkan lama perendaman benih selama 60 menit (F2) menunjukkan persentase yang tinggi pada daya kecambah 95%, kecepatan tumbuh 82%, jumlah daun, dan lebar kanopi

Abstract

Tomatoes are one of the vegetables rich in vitamins and minerals, and are widely consumed as a spice, garnish, and a salad. Chemical fertilisation alone can pollute the environment and leave harmful residues; therefore, it is necessary to provide integrated inputs with natural ingredients during cultivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction of the dose of NPK Mutiara fertiliser and mung bean sprout extract on the growth and yield of rose variety tomato plants. This study was conducted using a Randomised Block Design with a Factorial 3 x 3 in 3 replications. The first factor was the dose of NPK Mutiara fertiliser (N), consisting of three levels: N1 = 2 g per polybag, N2 = 4 g per polybag, and N3 = 6 g per polybag. The second factor was the concentration of mung bean sprout extract, which consisted of three levels: T0 = 0, T1 = 300 ml/L, and T2 = 600 ml/L. Data were analysed using analysis of variance. If there were significant differences in the treatments, a Duncan test was conducted at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of Mutiara NPK fertiliser at various doses significantly affected plant height, fruit number per plant, and fruit weight per plant, with the best dose being 2 g per polybag. Application of mung bean sprout extract at various concentrations did not significantly affect all observed parameters. The combination of 6 g per polybag of Mutiara NPK fertiliser and 600 ml/L of mung bean sprout extract showed a significantly different interaction on flowering age, and the interaction of 2 g per polybag of Mutiara NPK and 600 ml/L of mung bean sprout extract significantly affected the number of fruits per plant.

Abstract

Alternative ways to meet the needs of vegetables as their daily nutritional intake for the body, one of the leaf vegetables like lettuce are rich in vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Public awareness of the importance of eating vegetables is increasing lately, ironically, the availability of agricultural land decreases due to the conversion of agricultural land. One effort that can be done is by vegetable hydroponic farming. The research objective was to determine the best response of varieties of lettuce on levels of nutrient concentrations (AB mix). The research was conducted in the village of Jember Kidul, District Kaliwates Jember in altitude ± 100 m above sea level, in April to June 2016. The study was conducted using a randomized block design (CRD) consisting of two factors: the first factor is the concentration of the nutrient treatments AB mix (K) consisting of 500 ppm (K1), 550 ppm (K2), 600 ppm (K3). The second factor is the treatment of a wide variety of green lettuce is lettuce green Maat (V1), green lettuce green olivia (V2), red lettuce lolo rosa (V3). The results showed matt green lettuce varieties (V1) has the best growth response and significantly different on all parameters except observations observation root length. Treatment nutrient concentrations AB Mix real effect only on the parameter number of leaves and the fresh weight of the total that is best at a concentration of 600 ppm (K3), but no significant effect on observations of plant height, root length and dry weight. Interaction between wide varieties of lettuce and nutrition konstrasi AB Mix all parameters showed no significant observations.
