Abstract

This study aims to determine the best concentration of ZPT GA3 to increase the quantity and quality of green deli honey water guava fruit. This research was carried out in Pancakarya Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency which was carried out from December 2021 to February 2022, with an altitude of 50 m above sea level. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK), with 5 different spraying treatments, repeated 5 times, a total of 25 research objects. The treatment studied was the concentration of GA3 (P) namely: P0 = Control, P1 = Concentration of 5 ppm , P2 = Concentration of 10 ppm, P3 = Concentration of 15 ppm, P4 = Concentration of 20 ppm. The data collected was analyzed by variance (Anova), if it was significantly different, it was continued with the BNT test at the 5% level using SPSS 20 For Windows. In determining the fruit to be sprayed using a random system. The results showed that the concentration of ZPT GA3 in the P4 treatment (concentration 20 ppm) gave optimal results for the sugar content of the fruit. GA3 concentration treatment gave results that were not significantly different for the parameters of fruit length, fruit diameter, number of perdompol fruit, fruit perdompol weight and unit weight of fruit.

Abstract

This research was conducted from 24 September to 5 December 2020, in Pancakarya Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency, East Java. This study used  a 3 x 3 factorial pattern with a randomized block design (RBD) and was repeated three times. The first factor is population (J) consisting of population 2 (J1), population 3 (J2) and population 4 (J3), the second factor is the dose (D) consisting of 30gram (D1), 35gram (D2), 40gram (D3) . The collected data were analyzed using variance (ANOVA), if it was significantly different, then continued with the 5% Duncan test. The purpose of this study was to describe the population size in the cultivation of shallot plants in polybags and to describe the correct dosage of NPK fertilizer for shallot growth in polybags. The results showed that the treatment population (J), on the growth of shallots was significantly different to the increase in plant height, but the population treatment (J), the dose (D) on the growth and productivity of shallots did not give a significant difference to the number of tillers, wet weight, weight. dry weight and harves indexs.

Abstract

Indonesia has various types of fruit throughout the archipelago, one of which is papaya (Carica papaya L.). It can be said that almost all Indonesian people know and love this fruit. Papaya is a commodity that has many functions and benefits, besides fresh fruit, papaya has high economic value, and can meet nutritional needs. Traditionally, the papaya plant is easily cultivated by farmers, and can be used as a strategic commodity to meet most of the food needs of the Indonesian people. Papaya productivity can be increased by pruning the trunk, it can also be done by inserting 2-3 feet of lower stems from several papaya plants in one parent tree connection (merging). One of the biological modeling is the merging of two plants in one plant which is known as grafting. Biological modeling is an engineering technique term to increase plant productivity, in this case papaya can be done one of them by grafting. To determine the effect of the growth of several biological models of papaya in the vegetative phase to the beginning of the generative phase. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the application of photosynthetic bacteria with chemical fertilizers on the productivity of cayenne pepper. The research was conducted in Pancakarya Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency from September to December 2022 with an altitude of 50 meters above sea level. This study used a non factoria randomized block design (RAK) with six treatments and four replications for a total of twenty four plants. The treatments observed were P0 = control; P1 = 5 ml/L PSB; P2 = 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKCaMg fertilizers (16:16;16:6:0,5); P3 = 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKSCaMg fertilizers (20:4:4:18:1:1); P4 = 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKSCaMg fertilizers (17:12:12:6:4:2); P5 = 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKSCaMg fertilizers (20:30:23:2:3:2). The results showed that the administration of a single application of photosynthetic bacteria did not have a significant effect on all observed parameters. The application of 5 ml/L PSB and 2 g NPKSCaMg fertilizers (20:4:4:18:1:1) had the best effect on stem diameter (7,63 mm), fruit weight planted (52,7 g) and number of fruit planted (25,5 fruit). Give a significant effect on the increase in fruit diameter (12,2 mm) from the control plant (8,1 mm).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best intensity and concentration of ZPT GA3 to improve the quality of Siamese oranges. This research was conducted from November 2022 to April 2023, in Pancakarya Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency, East Java Province. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with a factorial pattern, the first factor was 3 concentration treatments (K) and the second factor 3 intensity treatments (I), repeated 3 times. So that the total experiment is 27 plants. The treatment used was I1 = 1 spraying; I2 = 2 times spraying; I3 = 3 sprays and K1 = 20 ppm concentration; K2 = Concentration 40 ppm; K3 = Concentration 60 ppm. The test was carried out with the F-test with analysis of variance (ANOVA), if there is a significant difference (F-count value > F-table) then proceed with the 5% DMRT test. The results showed that the combination of using intensity 1 time per 2 weeks (I1) with a concentration of 40 ppm GA3 (K2) showed a significant interaction on fruit volume parameters. However, the difference was not significant in fruit weight.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the main effect of manure and the combination of cow manure and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and yield of tomato plants. This research was conducted in Kemiri Village, Panti District, Jember Regency with an altitude of 306 meters above sea level. The research was conducted from May to July 2023. This research used a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with a single factor, consisting of six levels of treatment and four times replication. Observational data were analysed using ANOVA test, if there is a significant difference, then continued with the Least Significant Difference (BNT) test at the 5% level using Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the combination treatment of 400 g cow manure + 10 g NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer (P3) showed significantly different in the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, and flower appearance. The combination of 400 g cow manure + 20 g NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer (P5) showed significantly different in the treatment of stem diameter. The combination of 400 g cow manure + 15 g NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer (P4) showed a significant difference in the number of fruits per plant. While the single treatment of cow manure (P1) did not show a significantly different effect on all parameters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemangkasan pucuk dan jumlah buah per tanaman terhadap produksi tanaman melon golden (Cucumis melo L.) dalam sistem hidroponik NFT. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Greenhouse Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Islam Jember, pada bulan Januari hingga April 2025. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan RAL faktorial 4×4 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah pemangkasan (P) yang terdiri dari: P0 (tanpa pemangkasan), P1 (pemangkasan pucuk), P2 (pemangkasan tunas air), dan P3 (pemangkasan pucuk dan tunas air). Faktor kedua adalah jumlah buah per tanaman (B) yang terdiri dari: B0 (tanpa pembatasan), B1 (1 buah), B2 (2 buah), dan B3 (3 buah). Parameter yang diamati meliputi umur panen, berat buah, panjang buah, diameter buah, tebal daging buah, dan kadar gula. Data dianalisis dengan Analisis Varian dan uji lanjut Duncan pada taraf 5% menggunakan SPSS 27 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemangkasan tunas air (P2) memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter diameter dan tebal daging buah. Perlakuan tiga buah per tanaman (B3) memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter berat buah. Tidak ditemukan interaksi yang signifikan antara pemangkasan dan jumlah buah terhadap semua parameter yang diamati.
