Abstract

Desain interaksi adalah  membangun suatu produk yang mudah  untuk dipelajari, efektif digunakan, dan terasa nyaman bagi penggunanya.  Perencana desain interaksi memerlukan pengetahuan tentang pengguna, teknologi dan interaksi antara keduanya. Dengan mengetahui aktivitas dapat diketahui tipe interaksi dan jenis alat interaksi yang digunakan. Ubiquitous health monitoring system adalah sebuah sistem pemantauan kesehatan yang digunakan oleh  pengguna perseorangan untuk memantau kesehatannya terus menerus secara tidak sadar. Smart mouse merupakan salah satu perangkat yang digunakan pada ubiquitous health monitoring system. Pada mouse ini diterapkan teknologi tambahan untuk mengukur detak jantung dan suhu tubuh. makalah ini memberikan hasil desain berupa model konseptual, prototype,   user experience, usability, user interface dari smart mouse. Kata kunci       : desain interaksi, model konspetual, user experience, usability, user interface, smart mouse, ubiquitous health monitoring system

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi di kubikel 20 kV adalah korona, yaitu suatu fenomena yang terjadi pada saat udara di sekitar konduktor atau penghantar terionisasi akibat penurunan suhu naiknya kelembaban karena heater tidak aktif / rusak. Dari proses tersebut terjadilah pelepasan muatan yang mengakibatkan kegagalan isolasi pada udara, sehingga berpotensi merusak peralatan di dalam kubikel dan menghasilkan rugi-rugi daya. Oleh karena itu sistem pemantauan suhu dan kelembaban dapat menjadi satu solusi untuk meminimalisir efek korona pada kubikel. Sistem inidirancang menggunakan sensor DHT22 untuk memantausuhu dan kelembaban serta NodeMCU sebagai mikrokontroler. Hasil dari pembacaan sensor ditampilkan pada web untuk diamati oleh petugas, sehingga dapat dilakukan deteksi dini kemunculan korona pada kubikel. Dari hasil pengujian, sensor dapat membaca suhu dan kelembaban sesuai dengan pengaturan heater yang terpasang pada kubikel 20 kV dan hasil pengukuran sensor menunjukkan galat 0,3% serta dapat dimunculkan pada web yang dirancang untuk antarmuka dengan pengguna dan potensi.

Abstract

Door lock security system based on voice recognition with natural language processing (NLP) is an innovation and innovative solution in improving home security and comfort using the internet of things (IoT). This research aims to develop and implement a security system that can recognize and process sentence variations to open or close doors with high success rate. The system uses ESP32 Dev Kit V1 microcontroller, MQTT communication protocol to send data, and integrates relays, solenoid door locks so that the system can operate efficiently and reliably. System testing shows that voice recognition and NLP can identify voice commands in human a special card or tag. The test results show that the system can accurately control the solenoid door locks based on the received commands. This research can contribute to the development of a more advanced and convenient home security systems.

Abstract

Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) in Makassar: Enhancing Sustainable Urban Mobility Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) emphasizes integrating residential, commercial, and public facilities around public transportation systems to create urban environments that reduce reliance on private vehicles. Makassar has taken significant steps toward sustainable development by adopting TOD principles through the innovative Mamminasata bus system.  The Mamminasata bus network serves as the backbone of Makassar's public transportation system, connecting key areas across the city while promoting efficient and sustainable urban growth. By reducing dependency on private vehicles and improving access to various facilities, TOD driven by the Mamminasata bus system has positively impacted the environment, local economy, and social inclusivity. However, challenges such as low passenger occupancy rates, limited integration with other modes of transport, and inadequate infrastructure maintenance continue to affect the system's effectiveness. To enhance the TOD approach, solutions such as optimizing routes, improving infrastructure, developing supportive policies, and increasing community participation are crucial. By fostering greater public acceptance, providing better accessibility, and delivering tangible benefits, TOD in Makassar can transform urban mobility, promote sustainability, and create a more connected and prosperous city for all residents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital marketing strategies employed by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on Instagram, specifically focusing on the @denisa_sprei account. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collected through direct observations of the Instagram account, semi-structured interviews with the account owner, and analysis of Instagram features and performance metrics. The primary objectives are to identify the key strategies used for enhancing brand visibility, engaging with customers, and boosting sales through Instagram. The findings reveal that @denisa_sprei effectively employs several strategies to maximize its digital marketing efforts. The use of visually appealing content, including high-quality images and engaging videos, plays a crucial role in attracting customer attention and building brand identity. Active interaction with followers through comments and direct messages (DMs) strengthens customer relationships and improves loyalty while leveraging Instagram features such as Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels, and Instagram Shopping enhances customer convenience and facilitates the purchasing process. Additionally, Instagram Insights is utilized to track performance and adjust strategies based on follower preferences and engagement metrics. Overall, the study concludes that Instagram serves as a powerful marketing tool for MSMEs, providing significant benefits in terms of brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales growth. These insights offer valuable guidance for other MSMEs seeking to optimize their social media marketing strategies.

Abstract

Social media is now not only a platform for sharing photos and videos but has become a channel for MSMEs to promote their products. This research will discuss how the @bagja.id account uses visual and narrative content on Instagram to build a strong brand image and increase the visibility of the MSMEs it represents. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method in which a social phenomenon will be analyzed and interpreted and then connected with relevant theories. The results of this research show that the management of an MSME account must be managed well by paying attention to the use of hashtags, copywriting, and building interaction with followers. The important thing to pay attention to is how the process of building interaction with followers in account management is very important because this can build brand awareness. Based on an analysis of the @Bagja.id account, it can be concluded that they have succeeded in adopting a soft-selling marketing strategy with a focus on visual content such as photos, videos, and reels.  Apart from that, managing content and information in the account is very important to create a relationship between the account and followers which will later create brand awareness.

Abstract

Student engagement in online learning is an important factor that can affect learning outcomes. One indicator of engagement is facial expression. However, research on facial expression detection in online learning environments is still limited, especially in the use of the YOLOv8 algorithm. This study aims to compare the performance of several YOLOv8 variants, namely YOLOv8x, YOLOv8m, YOLOv8s, YOLOv8n, and YOLOv8l in recognizing six facial expressions: happy, sad, angry, surprised, afraid, and neutral. Student facial expression data was collected through the Moodle platform every 15 seconds during the learning process. All models were trained using 640x640 pixel images for 100 epochs to improve facial expression detection capabilities. The main contribution of this study is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of YOLOv8 in detecting student facial expressions, which can be used to improve the online learning experience. The evaluation results show that the YOLOv8s model has the best performance with the highest mAP of 0.840 and the fastest inference speed of 2.4 ms per image. YOLOv8m and YOLOv8x also performed well with mAP of 0.816 and 0.815, respectively. Although YOLOv8x had the slowest inference speed, it was superior in detecting fear, happiness, and sadness expressions with mAP above 0.9. YOLOv8n had mAP of 0.636, while YOLOv8l achieved mAP of 0.813 with an inference speed of 9.1 ms per image. This study shows that the YOLOv8 algorithm, especially YOLOv8s, can be an effective solution to analyze student engagement based on their facial expressions during online learning.

Abstract

A door security system utilizing face recognition technology based on TensorFlow Lite has been developed to enhance access security and convenience. This research aims to design a system capable of accurately recognizing faces in real time, integrating it with door lock devices, and ensuring user data security. Employing the waterfall method, the system was implemented using an ESP32-CAM microcontroller and deep learning algorithms. Testing results demonstrated a face recognition accuracy of 91% in identifying and processing commands from 200 trials with ten facial variations. Successful integration with door lock devices was achieved through serial communication. The system also features activity log recording for monitoring purposes. This solution offers greater practicality and security than RFID systems as it eliminates the need for physical cards. This research contributes to developing more sophisticated and user-friendly home security systems, with the potential for further enhancements in recognition capabilities under various lighting conditions and integration with other biometric technologies

Abstract

Wanita sering kali mengalami keterbatasan untuk bebas bergerak dan berekspresi. Wardah yang merupakan kosmetik halal Indonesia menggunakan kampanye Beauty Moves You untuk mematahkan stereotip kecantikan wanita sekaligus memperkuat citra mereknya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pesan kampanye Beauty Moves You terhadap citra merek Wardah. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan sebagai jenis penelitian ini dengan desain penelitian deskriptif menggunakan survei berupa kuesioner. Pada penelitian ini sampel terdiri dari 100 followers wanita Instagram @Wardahbeauty berusia 18-25 tahun yang mengetahui kampanye Beauty Moves You. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diuji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Program SPSS digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengolah dan menganalisis data. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pesan kampanye Beauty Moves You berpengaruh secara positif terhadap citra merek Wardah dengan nilai pengaruh sebesar 51,8%.
