Abstract

Sexual harassment is defined as giving sexual attention both verbally, either in speech or writing, and physically to victims who are predominantly women, On July 13, 2022, there was a tweet featuring a video of sexual harassment that made it trend in various countries. The video irritated Twitter users and made various comments resulting in various sentiments that can be analyzed using sentiment analysis. The purpose of this study is to see what the public thinks about the sexual harassment case of Brazilian anesthesiologist. Besides the sentiment analysis, another aim of this study is to see how objective are those sentiments based on their polarity. This study uses a comparison of two methods in sentiment analysis, namely Multi-Layer Perceptron Classifier and Random Forest, and labeling automatically using TextBlob.  This results in 94.44% accuracy, 94.44% precision, 92% recall and 93% f1_score. For MLP Classifier and accuracy 96.42%, precision 94.44%, recall 96.66% and f1_score 95.56% for Random Forest. Sentiment polarity score from the TextBlob is -0.5 and subjectivity is 0.4 which indicates that most statements are negative and subjective score is 0.4, which means those sentiments are subjective in nature.

Abstract

Cikelat Village, located within the Ciletuh–Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark, has significant potential in agriculture, MSMEs, and tourism. However, the absence of a structured information system limits the optimal utilization of these resources. This study maps the income distribution of Cikelat residents using the Hierarchical Clustering method and designs a web-based information system as a decision-support tool. Data from 438 respondents were preprocessed, normalized, and analyzed using Ward’s linkage and Euclidean distance, producing a dendrogram that identified three distinct socio-economic clusters: (1) Cluster 1 (212 respondents, 48.4%) – educated, self-employed residents with moderate income and high technology adoption; (2) Cluster 2 (131 respondents, 29.9%) – predominantly farmers with low income but positive perceptions of the Geopark’s benefits; and (3) Cluster 3 (95 respondents, 21.7%) – low-income groups with limited education and technology use. ANOVA confirmed significant differences among clusters (p < 0.05). The system design follows the waterfall model and includes class diagrams and a prototype interface developed in Figma. Although still at the design stage, the proposed system provides a practical blueprint for future implementation and supports data-driven policymaking and sustainable rural development.

Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally changed transportation services, yet existing research has predominantly applied traditional SERVQUAL frameworks without systematic integration with contemporary User Experience theories for Generation Z users. Limited research exists specifically investigating ride-hailing platforms among digital-native populations, creating a critical gap in understanding how generational characteristics influence service quality evaluation patterns. This study investigates the influence of User Experience (UX) on Customer Engagement (CE) in the Grab application among Generation Z users, utilizing the Service Quality (SERVQUAL) framework adapted for digital contexts. The research employed a quantitative approach with purposive sampling targeting 150 active Grab users aged 13-28 years who met specific usage criteria. Data collection utilized online questionnaires measuring five SERVQUAL dimensions, User Experience, and Customer Engagement variables through Likert scales, analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results revealed fundamental shifts in how Generation Z users evaluate digital service quality. Among SERVQUAL dimensions, only visual interface elements (Tangibles) significantly influenced User Experience (β = 0.586, p = 0.001), while traditional interpersonal service dimensions showed no meaningful impact. User Experience demonstrated exceptionally strong influence on Customer Engagement (β = 0.945, p < 0.001), with the model explaining 89.3% of variance. These findings indicate that conventional service quality models require substantial adaptation for digital service contexts, particularly for Generation Z users who prioritize aesthetic design and interface functionality over traditional service elements. The study contributes to understanding how digital-native consumers evaluate technology-mediated transportation services, suggesting that service providers should focus primarily on user interface design and overall experience architecture to enhance customer engagement in the digital economy.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven a shift in banking services from conventional systems toward more efficient and flexible digital platforms. Generation Z, as digital natives, has become the primary user group of these services due to their strong preference for convenience and ease in financial transactions. According to data from the Google Play Store, the SeaBank and Bank Jago applications have each been downloaded more than 10 million times, indicating strong public interest in digital banking services. Despite having a similar number of downloads, there is a notable difference in user ratings: SeaBank has received a rating of 4.9 out of 5, while Bank Jago has obtained a rating of 4.5. However, research that directly compares user experience across popular digital banking platforms in Indonesia remains limited. Therefore, this study contributes empirical insights into the factors influencing Generation Z’s satisfaction when using digital banking services. This study aims to analyze and compare the user experience of the SeaBank and Bank Jago applications using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Research data were collected through questionnaires distributed using purposive sampling, targeting Generation Z respondents aged 17–28 years. The collected data were analyzed using the UEQ Data Analysis Tool. The results indicate that both applications received positive evaluations from respondents. Bank Jago outperformed SeaBank in the Attractiveness dimension, reflecting stronger visual and emotional appeal. Meanwhile, SeaBank showed superior performance across the other five dimensions: Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. These findings suggest that SeaBank provides a more efficient, clear, engaging, and innovative user experience compared to Bank Jago.
