Abstract

The development of today's smartphone technology has a huge impact to the world of information technology and telecommunications. The emergence of a variety of applications for smartphones can improve the performance and effectiveness of an activity. Some restaurants have made use of smartphones in the business process, but only as a recording medium order or see a list of menus available in the restaurant. The purpose of this paper is to make the application as a whole that integrated the frontend and backend operations that help the process from ordering food, serving customer to managing restaurant data such as restaurant menus, employees, and transactions. The method used is the method of analysis (study of literature, analysis of similar applications, questionnaires, and interviews) and extreme programming design method. The results of this research is frontend application for food ordering and restaurant service and a backend system that has additional features such as restaurant profiles, restaurant menu data includes descriptions, recommended menuand images, promos, restaurant rating or menu rating, the waiter call feature, view bill and request features bill. The conclusion of this research is the developed application can help ordering process and restaurant servicesprocess in a restaurant with good customer satisfaction and good application performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to produce a learning management system that could provide teaching materials and assessment tools for studentsso that they could improve their abilities and assess themselves. Using the waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, the researchers divided the development into five phases. Those were analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Analysis phase was done by conducting interviews and observations. The designing phase used Unified Modelling Language (UML), and implementation phase used PHP language with Model View Controller (MVC) framework CodeIgniter. Then, testing used eight golden rules and questionnaire as user acceptance test. In the end, this research could produce a Learning Management System (LMS) namely Online Learning System. It can deliver materials to students in BinaNusantara University. In addition, it helps students to find additional learning materials for the programming course, monitor, and assess their learning progress through the quiz and member dashboard.

Abstract

Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) di Indonesia, saat ini tak sedikit memandangnya sebelah mata dan dikaitkan dengan masalah ekonomi sosial dan distribusi pendapatan. Hal ini berkaitan dengan proses pembangunan yang belum merata di seluruh wilayah, termasuk juga masalah penyebaran informasi. Padahal tak dipungkiri UKM ternyata memiliki peran yang besar bagi perekonomian di Indonesia. Terbukti ketika krisis moneter di tahun 1997, bisnis UKM justru tak goyah dan malah menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian di kala itu. Saat ini UKM mulai berkembang dari sekedar menghasilkan produk dan memasarkan di wilayahnya, UKM mulai menggunakan koneksi internet dalam proses pemasaran, guna menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas. Tujuan umum dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi bagi masyarakat khususnya bagi Mitra UKM. Diharapkan dengan pemanfaatan IpTek ini dapat membantu Mitra UKM dalam memasarkan produknya dan juga dalam mengelola data transaksi penjualannya. Sehingga memberikan dampak perluasan pemasaran dan berikutnya peningkatan omset bagi mitra UKM. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah fact finding, dimana selain melakukan pengumpulan data secara literature, juga melakukan interview kepada pemilik UKM dan juga survey terhadap proses bisnis yang dilakukan oleh Mitra UKM guna mengumpulkan data-data pendukung. Luaran dari pengabdian ini adalah website dinamis yang dapat dikelola oleh Mitra UKM sebagai sarana promosi produk Mitra UKM, selain itu melalui website juga Mitra UKM dapat menerima pesanan dari pelanggan. Pesanan dan transaksi yang berhasil dilakukan melalui aplikasi akan langsung di tercatat dalam transaksi penjualan. Berikutnya UKM dapat melihat dan mendapatkan laporan bulanan lebih cepat dan akurat. Dampak sosial lainnya yang di harapkan adalah, dengan adanya pengembangan website dan pelatihan untuk dua UKM mitra dapat memberikan contoh kepada UKM-UKM sejenis diwilayahnya untuk melakukan pengembangan teknologi informasi. Dan pada akhirnya keberhasilan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan menjadi proyek contoh bagi UKM- UKM lainnya untuk memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam mengembangkan usahanya.

Abstract

Modern e-commerce platforms are required to handle increasing transaction volumes and user traffic while maintaining high performance and scalability. This study evaluates the implementation of a microservices architecture on the Waltmart e-commerce platform to improve performance, scalability, and system reliability. The architecture is designed using independent services supported by Protocol Buffers for efficient inter-service communication, Redis caching for faster data retrieval, and Message Queue (MQ) mechanisms for asynchronous processing. Kubernetes is applied to manage container orchestration and autoscaling under varying traffic loads. Performance evaluation is conducted through load testing by measuring serialization time, response time, and system throughput. The results show that Protocol Buffers reduce serialization and deserialization time by more than 50% compared to JSON, while Redis caching significantly lowers response times and increases throughput. Although the performance improvement from MQ is relatively modest, it enhances system stability during high-volume transactions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya tingkat ketidaksesuaian antara kapabilitas pelamar dan kebutuhan perusahaan dalam proses rekrutmen digital. Hasil analisis kebutuhan terhadap 144 responden menunjukkan bahwa 60,5% pelamar mengalami kesulitan mencari pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan kapabilitas, sementara 55,8% menyatakan tes psikologi daring dapat membantu mempercepat proses seleksi. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi Getalent, portal rekrutmen berbasis web yang mengintegrasikan Tes Kepribadian Big Five dan filtering pekerjaan berbasis keterampilan sebagai mekanisme penyaringan awal kandidat. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan metodologi Waterfall dan dievaluasi melalui Black Box Testing, evaluasi heuristik berdasarkan Eight Golden Rules, serta kuesioner terhadap 33 responden dan wawancara dengan tiga praktisi Human Resource. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 97% responden menilai fitur filtering membantu pencarian kerja, 87,9% menilai sistem memiliki penanganan error yang baik, dan 94% responden merasa puas terhadap aplikasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi asesmen psikometrik dan penyaringan keterampilan dalam satu sistem terintegrasi mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan objektivitas shortlisting kandidat. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dengan menawarkan model integrasi Big Five dalam portal e-recruitment berbasis web yang dirancang untuk mengurangi job mismatch pada tahap seleksi awal.
