Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the creativity of third-grade students at SD Negeri 21 Nanga Nuak in Cultural Arts and Crafts (SBdP) learning activities, particularly in drawing. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects consisted of 19 students, including 10 male students and 9 female students, along with one classroom teacher. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the elaboration indicator obtained the highest percentage (84.2%), followed by fluency (78.9%), flexibility (73.7%), and originality (68.4%). Overall, students’ creativity was categorized as good. Supporting factors included a conducive classroom atmosphere and freedom of expression, while inhibiting factors were lack of self-confidence and the tendency to imitate the teacher’s examples. Keywords: creativity, SBdP, elementary school, drawing Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kreativitas siswa kelas III SD Negeri 21 Nanga Nuak dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (SBdP) pada kegiatan menggambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 19 siswa yang terdiri atas 10 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswa perempuan serta satu guru kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator elaboration memperoleh persentase tertinggi (84,2%), diikuti fluency (78,9%), flexibility (73,7%), dan originality (68,4%). Secara keseluruhan, kreativitas siswa berada pada kategori baik. Faktor pendukung kreativitas meliputi suasana kelas yang kondusif dan kebebasan berekspresi, sedangkan faktor penghambat berupa rasa kurang percaya diri dan kebiasaan meniru contoh guru.Kata Kunci: kreativitas, SBdP, sekolah dasar, menggambar

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to analyze the beginning reading difficulties of second-grade students at SD Negeri 14 Kelakik using the Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) instrument. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, documentation, and reading tests. The subjects were 23 second-grade students, of whom 8 students experienced beginning reading difficulties. The findings showed that students experienced difficulties in recognizing letters, reading meaningful words, reading non-meaningful words, reading fluently and comprehending texts, as well as listening comprehension. The most dominant difficulty was reading non-meaningful words with an average score of 10%. Students also had difficulty distinguishing similar letters such as “b” and “d” or “f” and “v”, reading fluently, combining letters into words, and understanding reading content. The study concludes that beginning reading skills need continuous practice and guidance to improve students’ reading abilities optimally. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SD Negeri 14 Kelakik menggunakan instrumen Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes membaca. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 23 siswa kelas II, dengan 8 siswa mengalami kesulitan membaca permulaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan pada aspek mengenal huruf, membaca kata bermakna, membaca kata tidak bermakna, kelancaran membaca nyaring dan pemahaman bacaan, serta menyimak. Kesulitan yang paling dominan terdapat pada aspek membaca kata tidak bermakna dengan rata-rata skor 10%. Siswa juga mengalami kesulitan membedakan huruf yang bentuknya hampir sama seperti “b” dan “d” atau “f” dan “v”, membaca dengan lancar, merangkai huruf menjadi kata, serta memahami isi bacaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan perlu ditingkatkan melalui latihan dan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan agar kemampuan membaca siswa berkembang secara optimal.
