Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve small business owners' understanding of tax administration and simple tax reporting in Kedaung Kali Angke Village, West Jakarta City. The main problem faced by participants was a lack of knowledge regarding simple and correct business registration procedures, tax calculations, and Tax Return (SPT) reporting. The activity was implemented through lectures and Q&A discussions involving small business owners as the main participants. The material provided covered the importance of tax compliance, simple business administration, procedures for calculating MSME taxes, and the use of digital tax services. The results of the activity showed that participants gained a better understanding of tax obligations and the importance of orderly business records. This activity is expected to increase tax awareness and compliance among small business owners, thereby supporting increased state revenue and the development of more orderly business administration.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of micro-business owners and the community in Rawa Buaya Village regarding the importance of cash flow management and the separation of business and personal finances. The main problems faced by participants were the lack of regular financial records, the mixing of business and personal funds, and the low ability to manage business cash flow. The activity was implemented through lectures and question-and-answer discussions. The material provided included basic cash flow concepts, techniques for recording income and expenses, preparing simple reports, and strategies for separating business and personal accounts. The results of the activity showed that participants understood the importance of cash flow management in maintaining business continuity and were able to implement simple financial record keeping in a more disciplined manner. This activity is expected to help MSME owners improve their business financial stability and support more accurate business decision-making.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase public understanding of the importance of family financial management through safe savings and investment instruments as emergency funds. The activity was carried out in the Kapuk Subdistrict, West Jakarta City, targeting housewives and people of productive age. The problems faced by the community include low financial literacy, a lack of understanding of emergency funds, and the prevalence of illegal investments that are detrimental to the community. The implementation method was carried out through lectures and question-and-answer discussions regarding the concept of emergency funds, safe types of savings, and low-risk investments such as deposits and money market mutual funds. The results of the activity showed that participants understood the importance of separating emergency funds from consumptive needs and began to recognize legal investment instruments supervised by the government. This activity is expected to increase public awareness of the importance of conducting wise and sustainable family financial planning.

Abstract

Financial literacy is an individual's ability to understand and manage finances wisely, thus fostering positive financial behavior, including savings habits. This study aims to analyze the role of financial literacy in shaping savings behavior among students at the Indonesian Master Vocational School (SMK Master Indonesia). The research method used was a quantitative approach, with questionnaires distributed to students at the Indonesian Master Vocational School as respondents. The results showed that financial literacy positively influenced students' savings behavior. Students with a good financial understanding tended to be more disciplined in managing their pocket money and setting aside a portion of their income for savings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of financial literacy among students at the Indonesian Master Vocational High School (SMK). Financial literacy is a crucial skill for students in managing personal finances, making financial decisions, and preparing for a better economic future. The research method used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to students at the Indonesian Master Vocational High School as respondents. The results showed that the students' financial literacy level was in the moderate category, where most students understood the basic concepts of financial management, but still needed improvement in aspects of investment, financial planning, and financial risk management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of economic literacy in human resource management towards financial independence for students in the Management Study Program at Satyagama University. The research method used a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires to students as research respondents. The results show that students with a good level of economic literacy tend to be more able to manage their finances effectively, are disciplined in managing expenses, and have wiser financial behavior. Economic literacy also plays a crucial role in developing independent, productive human resources who are ready to face future economic challenges.
