Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) currently focuses on cognitive aspects, often lacking preventive power in responding to the phenomenon of cyber delinquency among adolescents. Previous studies generally analyzed character education partially, leaving a gap in an integrated approach between spiritual ethics and emotional intelligence in the digital era. Qualitative research based on literature studies (library research) aims to formulate a resolution to the digital empathy crisis through a synthesis of the thoughts of K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari and R.A. Kartini. Content analysis was conducted on primary sources in the form of Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta’allim book and Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang book. The research results confirm that the combination of these two thoughts produces a solid character foundation, namely tazkiyatun nafs (K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari), which functions as an inner filter for vertical emotional control, while humanism (R.A. Kartini) fosters horizontal empathy. Novelty of this study lies in the formulation of a balance between manners and empathy as a specific solution to manage the morality of students who are unruly and indisciplined in interacting in cyberspace. The implications of this research suggest that Islamic Religious Education should adopt a dialogic and exemplary approach to enhance students' moral resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of the 21st-century Islamic education curriculum through the integration of subject-centered, student-centered, and problem-centered models, to form an insan kamil with character and adaptability. This study is a descriptive qualitative study based on a literature review, which examines various scientific literature related to the basic principles and design models of curriculum development, and the integration of Islamic values within them. Data were collected through a literature review of books, journal articles, and scientific publications. Data were analyzed through data reduction, theme classification, narrative presentation, and conclusion drawing using source triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results indicated that an Islamic education curriculum relevant to 21st-century demands must be based on the principles of relevance, flexibility, continuity, efficiency, and effectiveness, as well as the integration of subject-centered, student-centered, and problem-centered models. The integration of these three curriculum models results in a comprehensive learning design that balances cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects. The Islamic education curriculum must be integrative and transformative to produce an insan kamil who is tolerant, creative, and contributes positively to global civilization based on the values ??of rahmatan lil 'alamin (blessing for the universe).

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendisrupsi lanskap otoritas keagamaan, menggeser legitimasi dari penguasaan keilmuan yang bersanad (knowledge-based authority) menjadi sekadar popularitas dan tingkat interaksi di media sosial (attention-based authority). Kondisi ini menciptakan fragmentasi otoritas yang memicu krisis epistemologis, di mana peserta didik kini lebih mengandalkan ragam konten digital yang sering kali nirvalidasi dibandingkan peran pendidik di ruang kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif fenomena fragmentasi otoritas keagamaan di ruang digital beserta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur otoritatif dan ditelaah melalui metode analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disrupsi ini berdampak serius pada ekosistem PAI, meliputi melemahnya sentralitas guru, pergeseran pola belajar siswa dari sistematis menjadi sporadis yang disetir oleh algoritma, serta munculnya kebingungan epistemologis akibat relativisme kebenaran. Tanpa adanya filter validasi yang memadai, peserta didik sangat rentan menelan informasi mentah yang berujung pada distorsi pemahaman agama. Sebagai kesimpulan, fragmentasi otoritas di era digital menuntut transformasi mendasar dalam cara pendidikan agama disampaikan dan diterima. Implikasinya, kurikulum PAI harus segera direorientasi untuk mengintegrasikan kecakapan literasi digital dan penguatan nalar kritis, di mana pendidik mengambil peran baru sebagai kurator pengetahuan guna membentengi identitas keagamaan generasi muda.
