Abstract

This This descriptive qualitative research aims to analyze the obstacles in mastering multiplication operations among fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Bumi Sagu through observation, interviews, basic ability tests, and documentation. The results reveal that the students' low proficiency is caused by a combination of internal and external factors. Internally, students experience misconceptions where multiplication is perceived merely as rote memorization, accompanied by low abstract thinking skills, a lack of motivation, and low self-confidence. Externally, obstacles arise from conventional and monotonous teaching methods with minimal use of concrete media, as well as a lack of parental guidance at home. As a solution, it is necessary to implement innovative learning strategies such as the jarimatika method and the use of engaging visual media. Furthermore, providing motivation through games before learning and increasing the synergy between teachers and parents are crucial to creating a conducive learning environment so that students' understanding of multiplication concepts can increase significantly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran hibrida materi bangun ruang di kelas IV sekolah dasar yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, Evaluasi). Subjek penelitian melibatkan 31 siswa kelas IV SD Inpres 3 Tondo. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa Buku Materi cetak fisik berjudul “Ayo Mengenal Bangun Ruang Bersama Augmented Reality” yang mengintegrasikan objek visual tiga dimensi (3D) digital melalui aplikasi Assemblr Edu. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli, angket respons pengguna, dan post-test. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan rata-rata skor 4,85 dari skala 5,00 (Sangat Valid). Tingkat kepraktisan dinilai Sangat Praktis berdasarkan skor respons guru sebesar 4,38 dan persentase respons positif siswa mencapai 95,6%. Tingkat keefektifan dinilai Sangat Efektif dibuktikan oleh persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 100% melalui platform kuis digital Blooket, di mana seluruh siswa lulus KKM (≥75) dengan rata-rata kelas 99,13. Dengan demikian, media ini terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif.
