Abstrak: Dismenore atau nyeri haid menjadi salah satu keluhan yang sering dialami remaja siswi di sekolah menengah pertama, dan tidak jarang menjadi penyebab ketidakhadiran siswi di sekolah. Namun, hingga saat ini, edukasi mengenai dismenore dan cara menanganinya di setiap siklus menstruasi belum masif diberikan. Untuk itu, dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa edukasi dismenore dan penanganannya kepada remaja siswi di sekolah menengah pertama Islam terpadu di Ogan Ilir. Kegiatan edukasi diberikan kepada 21 siswi, dengan metode penyuluhan dan demonstrasi menggunakan media powerpoint dan video animasi. Untuk menilai efektivitas edukasi, peserta edukasi diminta untuk mengerjakan soal pre-test dan post-test tertulis.. Hasilnya, terdapat peningkatan rerata nilai dari 65,71 ketika pre-test menjadi 89,52 ketika post-test. Selain itu, para peserta juga tampak antusias dan cukup fasih dalam mempraktikkan abdominal stretching yang diajarkan dan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan barunya dengan pengalaman pribadi dan orang sekitarnya dalam menghadapi dismenore. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi ini efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan siswi dalam menghadapi dismenore. Untuk itu, edukasi ini sebaiknya menjadi agenda wajib Unit Kesehatan Sekolah di SMP IT di Ogan Ilir yang diberikan kepada setiap siswi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai tindakan yang diperlukan ketika mengalami dismenore.Abstract: Dysmenorrhea, or menstrual cramps, is a common complaint among female students in junior high school and often the reason for their absences. But so far, there has been no widespread education on dysmenorrhea and how to manage it during each menstrual cycle. Therefore, a community service program was conducted in the form of education on dysmenorrhea and its management for female students at an integrated Islamic junior high school in Ogan Ilir. The educational session was held for 21 female students and included a mix of lectures and demonstrations, utilizing PowerPoint presentations and animated videos. To assess the effectiveness of the education, participants were asked to complete written pre- and post-tests. The results showed an increase in the average score from 65.71 on the pre-test to 89.52 on the post-test. Additionally, the participants appeared enthusiastic and were quite proficient in practicing the abdominal stretching taught and integrating their new knowledge with their personal experiences and those of people around them in dealing with dysmenorrhea. This indicates that this education program is effective in enhancing students’ understanding and preparedness in managing dysmenorrhea. Therefore, this education program should be made a mandatory agenda for the School Health Unit at the SMP IT in Ogan Ilir, provided to every female student, to enhance their understanding of the necessary actions to take when experiencing dysmenorrhea.
