Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) containing local wisdom of songgi on colloidal systems material and analyze its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students' scientific literacy. The background of the study is based on the low scientific literacy of Indonesian students which is still below the international average based on PISA results, as well as chemistry learning which is still abstract and less contextual. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 1 chemistry teacher and 18 grade XI students of SMAN 10 Kendari. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, science literacy tests (pretest and posttest), and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively using the Aiken index for validity and N-Gain for effectiveness. The results showed that the developed LKPD had a validity level of 92.05% with a very feasible category and an Aiken index of 0.90 with a high category. Furthermore, there was an increase in students' scientific literacy, as indicated by an increase in the average score from pretest to posttest. Thus, the CTL-based student worksheet containing Songgi local wisdom was declared valid, practical, and effective for use in chemistry learning and capable of improving students' scientific literacy. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) bermuatan kearifan lokal songgi pada materi sistem koloid serta menganalisis validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya literasi sains siswa Indonesia yang masih berada di bawah rata-rata internasional berdasarkan hasil PISA, serta pembelajaran kimia yang masih bersifat abstrak dan kurang kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 1 guru kimia dan 18 siswa kelas XI SMAN 10 Kendari. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, tes literasi sains (pretest dan posttest), serta wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif menggunakan indeks Aiken untuk validitas dan N-Gain untuk efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas sebesar 92,05% dengan kategori sangat layak dan indeks Aiken sebesar 0,90 dengan kategori tinggi. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan literasi sains siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari pretest ke posttest. Dengan demikian, LKPD berbasis CTL bermuatan kearifan lokal songgi dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia serta mampu meningkatkan literasi sains siswa.
