Abstract

Community Learning Centers are non-formal education institutions established by communities to provide educational services, skills training, and empowerment programs aimed at improving the quality of life. This study aims to analyze the achievement of graduate competency standards in the Malay Hantaran-Making Skills Training Program organized by Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Insan Cendikia. A qualitative approach was employed using data triangulation through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Research subjects included program managers and tutors. Results indicate that the program successfully achieved most key performance indicators (KPIs): 90% participant attendance rate, 60% competency test pass rate through the Competency Testing Center (TUK), 80% market-quality products, sustained skill application, and 40% of participants gaining supplementary income. These findings suggest that PKBM Insan Cendikia has effectively delivered a non-formal education program that transfers locally-based cultural skills while empowering community economic outcomes. Recommendations include improving financial documentation systems, intensive remedial programs, and digital entrepreneurship incubation development.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) in guaranteeing and controlling the quality of community education at Majlis Ta’lim Musala Al-Khatb Barokah. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of QA is carried out through community needs-based program planning, setting learning material standards, and periodic evaluation of activity implementation. Meanwhile, the implementation of QC is realized through direct supervision of the learning process, monitoring congregation attendance, and assessing the quality of material delivery by teachers. However, the implementation of QA and QC still faces obstacles in the form of limited human resources, a less than optimal documentation system, and the absence of standard operating procedures. The discussion shows that these conditions have not yet contributed to improving the quality of community education, but still require strengthening in the aspect of quality management systematization to be more effective, measurable, and sustainable

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the implementation of assessment standards on learning outcomes as part of quality assurance and quality control in community education at Yayasan Cendekia Mandiri. This study used a qualitative approach with primary data collection methods through interviews with administrators and educators at Yayasan Cendekia Mandiri. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of assessment standards is carried out through formative and summative assessments covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of learners. The implementation of assessment standards helps educators monitor the development of learners’ learning outcomes more systematically, improve the effectiveness and quality of the learning process, and support the implementation of more structured and sustainable learning evaluations. In addition, the implementation of assessment standards also plays an important role in supporting the implementation of quality assurance and quality control systems in community education at Yayasan Cendekia Mandiri.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of process standards through supervision and monitoring in non-formal education programs at PKBM Cahaya Ilmu Pekanbaru. Process standards serve as quality benchmarks that must be met in the delivery of education, including on the non-formal pathway. Supervision and monitoring are two managerial instruments that ensure the consistent implementation of process standards. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through field observation, in-depth interviews with the institution's administrators and three tutors of equivalency programs (Paket A, B, and C), and institutional documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Source and method triangulation were applied to ensure data validity. The results indicate that PKBM Cahaya Ilmu has implemented periodic supervision at the end of each semester through a collaborative coaching and professional reflection approach. Monitoring was carried out by tracking learner attendance, module achievement, and the effectiveness of learning strategies. Supervision contributed to improving tutors' pedagogical competence, while monitoring functioned as a quality control mechanism for the program. Major challenges included limited human resources, tutor time constraints, and irregular learner attendance. The study recommends strengthening a digital-based supervision and monitoring system to enhance efficiency and ensure systematic documentation.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation of community education quality control as a strategy to increase the participation of learners at the Marsudi Putra Tengku Yuk Youth Social Development Center in Pekanbaru. The background of this research arises from the problems of low motivation, discipline, and active involvement of the residents in learning activities. To address these problems, the study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the quality control implemented includes key aspects: program planning that aligns with the needs of the resident youth, as well as continuous evaluation of learning outcomes. These aspects have been proven to enhance learning motivation, foster a sense of responsibility, and strengthen the discipline of the residents. In addition, support from the center's management and facilitators also reinforces effectiveness of quality control.
