Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih luas mengenai pengaruh literasi ekonomi, pemanfaatan media digital, dan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui motivasi belajar sebagai variabel mediasi di SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif dan melibatkan 304 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi ekonomi, pemanfaatan media digital, dan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis maupun motivasi belajar. Selain itu, motivasi belajar juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan mampu memediasi pengaruh ketiga variabel tersebut terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in microcontroller-based robotic system engineering teaching aids is an innovative solution in improving the effectiveness of vocational learning, especially in the field of mechatronics and industrial automation. This study aims to analyse the impact of using IoT-based teaching aids and microcontrollers (such as Arduino or ESP32) in improving students' understanding of robotic concepts and practical skills. The research method used a quasi-experimental experiment by comparing a control group (using conventional teaching aids) and an experimental group (using IoT teaching aids). Data were collected through practical tests, learning satisfaction questionnaires, and student performance observations. The results showed that the use of IoT props increased the understanding of robotic concepts by 25% and the speed of completing practical tasks by 30% compared to traditional methods. In addition, 85% of students stated that IoT-based teaching aids are more interactive and facilitate real-time visualisation of robotic systems through digital interfaces. However, the main challenge lies in the need for stable network infrastructure and teacher training in operating IoT devices. This study concludes that the integration of IoT in microcontroller-based robotic teaching aids has the potential to improve the quality of vocational learning, with recommendations for strengthening infrastructure support and teacher training to optimise implementation.

Abstract

Population growth and increased economic activity in urban areas have led to an increase in waste volume that requires more effective, efficient, and environmentally friendly handling. Green technology is a modern alternative that can optimize waste processing processes while generating additional economic value through the use of energy, compost, and recycled materials. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of implementing green technology in urban waste management using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), and Payback Period (PP) indicators. The research method used is a quantitative approach through a feasibility study with primary and secondary data obtained from observations, interviews, and waste management documents. The results show that the total initial investment is IDR 1,500,000,000 with an annual net benefit of IDR 350,000,000. Based on the analysis, a positive NPV value of IDR 460,000,000, an IRR of 13.8%, a BCR of 1.22, and a Payback Period of 4.3 years was obtained. These results indicate that the application of green technology in urban waste management is financially feasible. This study recommends that city governments consider implementing green technology in stages, increasing institutional capacity, and establishing partnerships with the private sector to optimize the effectiveness and sustainability of modern waste management systems.
