Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of auditing systems and their role in enhancing organizational performance, focusing on the definition, objectives, functions, mechanisms, and outcomes. Using a qualitative approach, a literature review was conducted by examining relevant academic sources, including journals, books, and previous research. The findings show that auditing systems function as both control tools and strategic instruments for improving organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability. They have evolved to include information system audits, emphasizing data security, system reliability, and operational effectiveness. Additionally, auditing systems contribute to strengthening internal control and risk management by identifying weaknesses and providing recommendations for continuous improvement. The study highlights the importance of auditing systems in enhancing transparency, accountability, and governance in modern organizations, including educational institutions. Abstract

This study examines the integration of Islamic epistemology in educational planning to align traditional Islamic values with the demands of modern education. The background of this research concerns the challenges posed by globalization and technological developments to education, while Islamic education faces the need to maintain the authenticity of its monotheistic values. The purpose of this study is to analyze how Islamic epistemology, encompassing revelation, reason, and experience, can be applied to adaptive, relevant educational planning. The method is a qualitative approach, grounded in primary and secondary literature, to explore fundamental theories and their applications in Islamic education. The results show that integrating revelation, reason, and experience in Islamic educational planning creates a holistic approach that is relevant to current developments. This study also found that many Islamic educational institutions still face difficulties in integrating Islamic epistemology. This study concludes that to achieve the goals of holistic Islamic education, Islamic epistemology must be integrated into educational policies and practices. The contribution of this study is to offer a more integrated model of Islamic educational planning, grounded in Islamic epistemology and relevant to global demands.

Abstract

The implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in Islamic education has become a crucial issue for improving service quality, learning, and institutional governance amid the challenges of globalization and the digital era. This study aims to explore the implementation of TQM in Islamic educational institutions and identify the barriers and their contribution to improving educational quality. The research method is a descriptive, qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis across several Islamic schools and madrasas that have implemented TQM. The results show that although TQM has excellent potential to improve educational quality, its implementation is still hampered by a hierarchical organizational culture, a mismatch between modern managerial principles and Islamic educational culture, and limited infrastructure and human resources. This study concludes that to increase the effectiveness of TQM in Islamic education, there needs to be a more contextual and adaptive adjustment to the management model, as well as the strengthening of the integration of Islamic values across all managerial aspects. The contribution of this research is the development of a TQM model grounded more in Islamic moral and spiritual values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of evaluation and monitoring as strategic components in strengthening Islamic education quality through educational planning. This research employed a qualitative approach using library research methods by examining relevant academic literature, including journal articles and scholarly documents related to evaluation, monitoring, quality management, and Islamic education planning. The collected data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, verification, and conceptual synthesis to identify relationships among the main themes of the study. The findings reveal that evaluation and monitoring function as interconnected mechanisms that support continuous quality improvement in Islamic education. Evaluation provides evidence for assessing curriculum implementation, learning effectiveness, and institutional performance, while monitoring ensures consistency between educational planning, implementation, and improvement actions. The study also highlights that effective follow-up of evaluation and monitoring results is essential for developing sustainable quality assurance systems. This research contributes conceptually by integrating evaluation and monitoring into a comprehensive framework for Islamic education quality management. The implications of this study suggest that educational institutions should develop systematic, participatory, and continuous evaluation and monitoring strategies to enhance educational effectiveness and institutional quality.
