Abstract

This study aims to examine the traces of Nusantara Islam in the history of Kelopo Telu in Kapu Village, Merakurak District, Tuban Regency, and to observe how the memory of this civilization remains alive in the community's traditions to this day. Kelopo Telu is closely linked to Kiai Sholeh, a cleric who played a significant role in the spread of Islam in the region. This study uses a qualitative approach with historical and descriptive study methods through an analysis of local traditions, historical sites, and religious practices that developed in the community. The results show that the existence of Kelopo Telu not only has historical significance as a symbol of Islamic preaching, but also forms part of the religious identity of the Kapu community. This spiritual heritage is still preserved through the traditions of pilgrimages, commemorations of the haul (haul), earth almsgiving, and the existence of educational institutions that carry on Kiai Sholeh's preaching spirit. Thus, Kelopo Telu represents the acculturation process between Islamic values and local culture, reflecting the moderate, contextual, and traditional character of Nusantara Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to design an innovative puzzle-based media for teaching the procedures of wudu in Fiqh learning for Grade VIII students at MTsN 1 Tuban based on the results of a learning needs analysis. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, indirect observations, and documentation studies involving a Fiqh teacher. The collected data were analyzed to identify learning conditions, the use of instructional media, and the need for learning media that are appropriate to students’ characteristics. The findings revealed that the instructional media used in Fiqh learning were quite diverse, including LCD projectors, PowerPoint presentations, songs, and concrete teaching aids. However, there was no educational game-based learning media that could actively engage students, particularly in learning the procedures of wudu, which require an understanding of systematic steps. Based on the results of the needs analysis, a puzzle-based wudu procedure media was designed as an innovation in Fiqh instructional media that integrates learning and play. This media consists of puzzle piece representing the steps of wudu, which students are required to arrange sequentially according to the correct procedure. The puzzle-based wudu procedure media was designed as an alternative instructional medium with the potential to help students understand the sequence of wudu more easily, increase student engagement in learning, and create a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Therefore, the puzzle-based wudu procedure media can serve as an alternative innovation in Fiqh instructional media that meets the needs of Grade VIII students at MTsN 1 Tuban.
