Abstract

The practice of buying and selling used goods constitutes an important subject in Islamic muamalah studies, particularly in relation to ethical compliance in transactions. Problems often arise from unclear contract processes and the neglect of established Islamic business ethics, such as the absence of khiyar rights between sellers and buyers, which may lead to unfair outcomes, including the inability to return purchased goods. These issues become more complex in the context of digital transactions, where the potential for loss is higher due to limited direct interaction between parties. This study aims to examine and apply the ethical values of buying and selling as outlined in the Qur’an to the practice of online transactions involving used goods, specifically within the Facebook Marketplace platform. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, focusing on normative analysis. Data are collected from primary sources, including Qur’anic verses related to transaction ethics such as honesty, justice, and the prohibition of fraud, as well as relevant hadith. Secondary sources include fiqh muamalah literature, Islamic business ethics references, and scholarly articles on online marketplaces and consumer protection. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive-analytical and thematic interpretation approaches. The findings indicate that the majority of Islamic scholars (jumhur ulama) agree that buying and selling used goods is permissible (mubah), provided that transactions are conducted honestly, transparently, and in accordance with Islamic ethical principles. Thus, the application of Qur’anic values is essential in ensuring fairness and trust in digital marketplace transactions.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe teachers’ creativity in improving fifth-grade students’ learning motivation in the Pancasila Education subject at SDS IT Al-Furqon Tebas for the 2025–2026 academic year and to identify students’ learning motivation after the implementation of various learning methods. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that teachers’ creativity was implemented through the use of picture media, comics, and role-playing methods in Pancasila Education learning activities. These varied learning methods created a more engaging, active, and enjoyable classroom atmosphere. Furthermore, the use of creative learning methods increased students’ enthusiasm and learning motivation in participating in Pancasila Education classes. Therefore, teacher creativity plays an important role in enhancing students’ learning motivation in elementary schools.

Abstract

Islamic education is a field of study that continues to evolve in line with social dynamics and the demands of the times. Ibn Taymiyyah's thought is one of the important contributions in responding to various problems of the ummah through an educational approach based on Islamic values. This research aims to examine Ibn Taymiyah's educational thought which includes aspects of educational philosophy, objectives, curriculum, methods, language of instruction, and ethics of teachers and students, as well as analyze its relevance to contemporary Islamic educational innovations. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from various sources of classical and contemporary literature related to Ibn Taymiyyah's thought and Islamic education. The data was then systematically analyzed using descriptive-analytical techniques to find the relationship between the educational concepts offered and today's educational needs. The results of the study show that Ibn Taymiyah's educational thought has significant relevance to the development of contemporary Islamic education, both in terms of philosophical foundations, educational materials, and learning methods. The concept of education developed is based on the Qur'an and As-Sunnah with the approach of al-hikmah (wisdom), al-mau'izhah (good advice), and al-jadal al-ahsan (constructive dialogue). This approach emphasizes a deep, rational, and applicative understanding. Therefore, Ibn TThought, Ibn Taymiyah, Contemporary Islamic Educationaymiyah's thought can be used as a basis for innovation in designing an Islamic education system that is adaptive, integrative, and relevant to the times.
