Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which work motivation, work discipline and organizational culture impact the perfomance of employees of Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kabupaten Karo. The population in this study all 219 employees of Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kabupaten Karo with the Slovin formula used to determine the sample size, which was 69 respondents. This study was conducted 2025 with a quantitative-based primary data approach through the distribution of questionnaries. The data obtained were the analyzed using SPSS 25 with a multiper linier regression method. Based on the result of the study, work motivation, work discipline and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect employee perfomance, both partially and simultaneously. Of the three variabels, in the multiple linier regression test, work motivation has the most dominant impact with the highest Standadized Coeffucients Beta value of 0,336. The four pruposed hypotheses (H1, H2, H3, H4) were successfully proven true and accepted because the results  of the study support the initial assumptions. The Adjusted R Square figure for employee perfomance is 64,5%, of which can be explained by  work motivation, work discipline and organizational culture, while the reamining 35,5% is explained by other factors or variables outside the model. The relationship between employee perfomance and work motivation, work discipline and organizational culture shows a very strong and significant correlation.

Abstract

Teacher performance is a crucial factor in determining the quality of education, as high-performing teachers are able to create effective and innovative learning processes that support students’ competency development. This study aims to analyze the influence of the principal’s charismatic leadership (X₁) and teacher motivation (X₂) on teacher performance (Y) at SMP Panca Budi Medan, as well as to examine the role of motivation as a supporting factor in improving teacher performance. A quantitative approach with an associative explanatory method was employed, involving all 40 teachers of SMP Panca Budi Medan as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity), multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing through partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) analyses. The results indicate that all research instruments are valid and highly reliable, with Cronbach’s Alpha values of 0.977 for X₁, 0.968 for X₂, and 0.962 for Y. The classical assumption tests were fulfilled, indicating that the regression model is appropriate for analysis. Multiple regression analysis reveals that charismatic leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (B = 0.965; Sig. = 0.000), while teacher motivation also shows a positive effect but is not statistically significant (B = 0.049; Sig. = 0.267). The F-test demonstrates that X₁ and X₂ simultaneously have a significant effect on Y (F = 174.318; Sig. = 0.000), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.904. These findings confirm that charismatic leadership is the primary factor in enhancing teacher performance, while motivation functions as a supporting factor that strengthens the influence of leadership. Principals who demonstrate charismatic leadership while providing motivational support can foster greater teacher professionalism and improve the overall quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of ability and non-physical work environment on employee performance at PT. Central Kelola Abadi. The problem addressed in this study is the suboptimal employee performance, indicated by declining performance scores, differences in work quality, and delays in task completion. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research method. The population consisted of all employees of PT. Central Kelola Abadi, and data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results showed that ability has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 5.540 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The non-physical work environment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 14.952 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, ability and non-physical work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 666.631 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination test produced an Adjusted R Square value of 0.953, indicating that ability and non-physical work environment explain 95.3% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 4.7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Therefore, improving employee ability and creating a conducive non-physical work environment can enhance employee performance at PT. Central Kelola Abadi.
